Load the product trays/baskets onto trays or basket dollies for subsequent loading onto the transports that will bring product to the depots for individual route distribution. Trays/baskets are off-loaded at a typical rate of roughly 15 per minute or 900 per hour.
Place of trays or baskets as high as 7’6” to the top shelf or 6’ 10” depending on transport rack design, or up to 20 baskets high (buns) or 16 baskets high (bread) on the basket dollies. May be required to often climb up on either a portable step stool or the rack itself to facilitate tray/basket loading at the racks’/dolly’s upper levels.The Loader’s job represents a blend of internally paced (loading the trays according to order requirements) and externally paced (ensuring the loading process is sufficiently rapid to prevent the conveyor system from backing up with product baskets/traysTake appropriate action to ensure the integrity and sustained certification of the SQF system.Responsible for reporting and taking any necessary action to prevent food safety and food quality problems from occurring.Responsible for following and enforcing procedures outlined in the Food Safety Plan and the Food Quality Plan and any other programs that support the SQF system and other 3rd party audits.Position is part time, approximately 20 hours per week. The Atlantic checkers verify every fact to be published in an assigned article from specific details and quotes to larger generalities to ensure that all the details, upon which an article is constructed, are supportable.
Primary responsibility will be checking our in-depth, long-form digital stories but may also include occasional print checking.
Working directly with Atlantic writers and editors to make sure all articles (and accompanying videos and podcasts) are accurate prior to publication. This includes working hand in hand with the authors of our pieces -- reading what they read, talking to their sources, reviewing all of the necessary literature on a given topic, and negotiating all changes/rewrites that need to be made so a piece is ready for publication.

Perform, at random, checks at each phase of production. Audit quality for conformance to division quality standards.
Record results of quality checks and prepare reports on assigned areas of responsibility. These checks include routine and specially assigned inspections. Return rejected goods to respective department supervisor.
Check cross stretch in both greige and finished stage of hosiery. Process special tests or routine line checks through the plant as directed. Maintain a positive attitude and working relationship within assigned departments. Apply QPI principles and techniques effectively.
Perform random sample inspections on hose. Check for defective workmanship and/or materials at a specified stage of production.Pass or reject hose using quality standards established for each particular area of production.Record results of inspections by style, type defect and operator.
Summarize daily checks and submit to Quality Control Manager.Tag and return defective garments and lots to department supervisor. Job Title: CHECKER/VERIFIER
Performs shipping operation duties to ensure quality product is packaged, prepared, and loaded for delivery to customers in a safe manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Accurately count and record products by category. · Enter inventory results into Excel and inventory database. · Identify and flag any non-conforming product (code, label, short fill, missing carton, leaker, etc). · Assign orders to other shipping associates from load-out sheets. · Review available product by code date both visibly and in electronic inventory to ensure proper product rotation. · Ensure all product is assembled in staging area for loading. · Direct movement of trailers throughout load-out period. · Prepare paperwork for oncoming shift. · Complete all required documentation and scheduled product checks.
Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.
Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures.
Follow all safety and security policies and procedures.
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
Follow all food safety and quality system requirements by committing to meet all pertinent regulatory, customer and Safe Quality Foods (SQF) requirements.
Maintain reliable attendance and consistent work hours.
Perform other duties as assigned.

High School diploma or GED equivalent, required.
Strong Microsoft Office skills (focus on Excel), preferred.
Refrigerated warehouse and shipping experience, required.
Ability to read, write, perform basic mathematical calculations, and accurately record data.
Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts, as required.
Must be able to frequently stand, walk, kneel, reach, climb, pull, and bend.
Must be able to routinely lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; and occasionally 75 pounds.
Excellent customer service, verbal and written communication skills required.
Must be organized and detail oriented.
Must be able to work independently.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Fork lift and/or pallet jack certification as provided by the company.
Supervisory Responsibility: None.
Working Conditions: Must be able to work for extended periods in a cold, damp environment.
Ability to communicate in English is required; however, bilingual skills may be preferred based on business necessity.
