Ensures quality control requirements are understood and met by reviewing all special instructions and requirements.
Documents items by performing required Statistical Process Control; quality checks/tests; lot number requirements; shipping label requirements.
Resolves production problems by; notifying set up personnel for assistance; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources; if necessary, discontinue manufacturing operations until the problem is resolved.
Maintains a safe and clean work environment of complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
Documents production information into appropriate reporting system.
Promotes teamwork and effective working relationships among all contacts by setting positive examples.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

Roll Tender - Machine Operator 12Hr
Our Roll Tender Operator is an important position of the dryer sheet manufacturing process. You will monitor fabric simultaneously being pulled from multiple rolls on a wall grid, all coming together into a "Pull Section" (like the lanes of a highway all coming together into one). Here are the three main phases:
1. Load the wall grid: place the fabric rolls onto horizontal spindles (rods), with the assistance of a lift for the higher spindles.
2. Feed the machine: route all fabric from all the rolls into the "Pull Section".
3. Documentation: complete the paperwork verifying that you have used the correct fabric, lengths, and cuts.

This is a physical position that requires you to move constantly, monitor for fabric breaks, take measurements, make adjustments, check in with the personnel packing the sheets, and complete real time documentation.

As a member of the press crew, the Press Assistant I (Roll Tender) has previous experience as a Press Asst. II (stacker/jogger) and is able to perform the duties of both positions and may be asked to do so from time to time. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Understanding standard operating procedures of the department
Manage the paper supply inventory on the press and feed rolls into the press
Coordinate plates and tickets for upcoming jobs and hang paper according to job tickets
Set up and make splices, bend and hang plates as well as hang blankets and assist with webbing up press
Ensure correct ink is available for job and check ink fountains regularly
Set fold during make-readies and check trim sheets to proof and complete necessary roll reports and paperwork accurately
Communicate effectively with plate room and paper warehouse and coordinate changing of ink, etch, and silicone totes as needed
Wash up the press and assist with preventative maintenance.

Strong mechanical abilities and knowledge of presses and roll stands and the ability to perform basic math calculations are essential.

The Tender Manager will introduce and manage all necessary bid procedures, governance, and process when presented with RFQ. This is a highly networked role that requires an ability to work under pressure and to challenging deadlines. It will require strong people management and commercial skills.
Analyzes requirements within an RFI/RFQ; manages and reviews all aspects of the solution design, ensuring all services are included in the final proposal to the customer
Distributes tasks to internal stakeholders, reviews/validates information received from the internal stakeholders
Interfaces with and manages/validates inputs from various functional groups such as IT, Legal, Finance, HR, EHS, Real estate, Business development organization, as well as with customers in creating/delivering a compelling proposal that will meet customer requirements and stand out from other bids
Responds and assists on RFI / RFQ requests ensuring timely, accurate and quality responses are delivered to the requesting parties
Ensures compliance with Tender Management process and SureStart governance
Controls the key milestones within each submission ensuring timely delivery of compliant and commercially sound bids
Tracks, manages and minimizes risk throughout the tender process
Creates/Compiles Requests for Quotation, utilizing quarterly review of cost model inputs from functional teams, with solution managers and commercial VPs
Maintains monthly tender data records and follows up on progress of submitted tenders
Records feedback on tenders handled in order to learn from every tender participation with the purpose of improving Neovia competitiveness
Ensures post bid analysis to be performed by bid owners for all bids, both successful and unsuccessful tenders
Other duties as assigned by management.
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Logistics/Supply Chain, Engineering
1-3 years relevant experience
2-3 years' project management experience
Highly proficient in Accountability, Planning and Organizing, Communication (oral and written), Leadership, Decision Making, Teamwork, and Interpersonal Skills.
Proficient in MS Office applications.
Proficient in recording detailed customer requirements, constraints, and assumptions.
Understand and resolve complex technical, strategic and business issues
Certification as Six Sigma Black Belt; Lean Master Certifications preferred or in process
Project Management Institute, Inc. (PMI) Certification (Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred or in process
Warehouse operations experience preferred
Work is primarily sedentary. Sits comfortably to do the work; however, there may be some walking, standing, bending, or lifting item weighing up to 15 pounds.
