ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Set up and operation of various metal panel roll forming machines. Manufacturers include New Tech and Roll-former.
Change out of various profiles on machines listed in point above.
Follow daily manufacturing work orders giving special attention to various materials, profiles, special ribbing, perforating and striation tooling and adding any needed specific notations.
Go to the job site and roll-form panels onsite for contractors.
Be comfortable driving truck and trailer in adverse conditions.
Inter act with customers at the job site and be able to talk to customers with confidence and respect.
Be able to read a work order and follow the instructions while working closely with contractor onsite.
Crate or palatalize finished panels and goods in shop or at job site.
Make adjustments to the machine by observation and using monitoring equipment feedback and performing quality control methods, such as gauges and hand tools
Perform quality checks to verify proper lengths, widths, paint finish discrepancies, and weights are adhered to using the proper tools.
Achieve production goals while complying to all safety requirements.
Must be able to switch between various equipment as needed.

In the role of Operator Apprentice working in Wheat Ridge, CO you will be part of the Rocky Mountain Bottle Plant team.
Operators will receive day-to-day technical guidance from Area Specialists. The Forming Operator III position is responsible for operating various forming machines (press brake and folders) and carrying out the daily tasks assigned by the supervisor. This operator has the ability to successfully setup and operate the machinery, including on more advanced setups. Works closely with supervisor and production planning on the full scope of projects moving through the department. Under strict supervision, delivers PSL equipment to wellsite. Provides proppant handling services, manifolding rig-up and tanks measurement during the job.
Learns basic operations to include but not limited to: (1) performing pre/post job equipment inspections, (2) performing and completing preventative maintenance procedures and (3) operating support equipment (i.e., proppant handling, Fluid Tanks, suction manifolding, treating lines, etc.). Completes requisite training (essential math, essential red book, safety training, etc.) following I Learn's career development system processes. Assists in assembly and preparation of equipment for installation and service. Assists in the clean up, repair, and preparation for the next job.
Skills are acquired by completing the career development requirements in I Learn's competency management system and 3-6 months experience as an Operator Asst I. Must have successfully passed company tests and met competency Task Lists requirements. The ability to perform basic mathematical calculations is required.
Reading comprehension and writing skills are required. Basic computer skills are preferred. Licensure to drive commercial vehicles is required.
Promotes safety awareness and environmental consciousness, and complies with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations. Promotes and takes an active part in quality improvement processes.
