Table Operator
The Table Operator position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to lead and motivate others and possesses a positive attitude. Must be able to follow standard operating procedures and have strong attention to detail coupled with being a strong team player.
This position is not for candidates who have less than the required years of experience, have not worked in the position or a closely related position before, or who do not meet the minimum job requirements.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Should be able to cut the minimum yards required at standard cutting rate in a normal work schedule
Cut tile per designated specifications
Maintain a high level or productivity, efficiency and quality while adhering to appropriate safety standards
Inspect all orders after they have been cut
Ensure that the table and work area are kept clean and is a safe working environment
Be able to work flexible hours and any required/mandatory overtime
Follow all safety and quality procedures

Position Summary:
Hands-on entry level position in the areas of metal forming (cutting, bending, and rolling metal); (primarily but not exclusively) specialty truck bodies and process plant equipment used in the commercial explosives industry world-wide.

Essential Functions:

THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:
You will be helping fabricate specially built truck bodies that are used in transporting chemicals and explosives for mining and other types of industries. Your work will operating metal forming equipment to produce layout pieces for fabrication.
You will be tasked with interpreting blueprints and work independently. You will also
Operate plasma table, shear, press brake, roll bender, band saw, drill press, stationary grinder, hand grinder, buffer, etc.
Work closely with welders to ensure materials are fashioned properly.

BACKGROUND PROFILE:
You will have to pass a weld test and a basic math test during the interview process. This includes being given a blueprint and parts, then being able to produce a finished product that meets company standards.
MUST be experienced interpreting blueprints and working independently to produce finished products

1-3 years’ experience in hands-on, mechanical work, preferably on CNC or milling machines.
