Loading Dock Manager
Overview
This position is responsible for overall leadership, planning, administration, and management of the MBCC dock operations and logistics. The Loading Dock Manager will be focused on delivering the highest level of customer service, while maximizing efficiencies, to ensure safe and efficient operation of the loading docks and marshalling yards. The Loading Dock Manager will work with internal MBCC departments, clients, exhibitors, vendors, and contract partners, as directed. The Loading Dock Manager ensures there is a coordinated effort in preparation for and execution of the move in/out of each event, in compliance with MBCC policies. The Dock Manager is also responsible for managing the Waste Management and the Sustainability Program.
Responsibilities
Provides leadership, direction, and order to the loading dock activities at the MBCC.
Plans, coordinates and supervises shipping and receiving schedules.
Responsible for the accurate tracking of all materials received at the loading docks, ensuring they are properly delivered to appropriate parties and received.
Assigns bays to incoming and outgoing vehicles on the basis of delivery and departure times, as specified.
Maintains relationships with all contractors to ensure all personnel are aware of and adhering to facility policies and applicable laws.
Reviews and approves all Marshalling plans, in collaboration with the Public Safety Department, ensuring all plans comply with the MBCC's policies and appropriate personnel are scheduled.
Works in collaboration with the Event Managers and Public Safety Department to review all "Special Requests" relating to equipment storage or other adjustments to the Marshalling plan.
Responsible for the oversight and management of loading dock logistics, ensuring the efficient operation for all areas of responsibility, including product, people and machinery.
Produces anticipated schedule of loading dock activities each week and coordinates with appropriate departments and contractors regarding space availability and scheduling of personnel.
Collaborates with appropriate MBCC personnel to establish a regular maintenance schedule for all loading docks and associated equipment, to maintain a safe, secure and clean environment.
Evaluates new technologies and "best practices" to facilitate the movement of goods/ freight and makes recommendations regarding equipment lifecycle, management, and replacement.
Manages the MBCC's Waste Management and the Sustainability Program.
Other duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Oversees the work of Loading Dock personnel, to ensure efficient and safe movement of materials from dock.

Education & Experience:
Some college work preferred; however, relevant experience can substitute for college work.
3-5 year's relevant work experience in shipping/ receiving/ logistics/ operations strongly preferred.
Working knowledge of the principles of facility management, services and equipment for a similar facility.
Previous experience in a public assembly facility in a similar position, highly desirable.

JOB SUMMARY / GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
This position is responsible for hand loading - in stop-sequence order - all outbound grocery products onto pre-designated trailers.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS / PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: HOURS: 3:00pm

Maintain Quality Control on all non-conveyable products prior to loading.
Load product in a safe manner, ensuring product integrity for customers.
Bring concerns about product integrity to Supervisor's attention.
Position non-conveyable product with associated conveyable product.
Perform cigarette carton count for each customer order.
Secure load with load bars when loading is complete.
Communicate any special circumstances to driver via the shipping loading report.
Maintain a clean, debris-free work area.
Achieve productivity goals while maintaining product integrity.
Achieve safety goals and department and division OS&D goals.

Job Summary:
Responsible for all operational activities within the distribution center.
Essential Job Duties:
The Crossdock Manager oversees the operations of a distribution "cross dock" which serves to deconsolidate inbound Truck Loads and LTL shipments, and build outbound shipments of merchandise destined for sale in the Keystone branch locations; including receiving of all products into system, control and audit vendor issues.
Maintains the physical condition of the warehouse facility to reflect cleanliness, efficiency and organization.
Supervises all warehouse personnel, assigns tasks and duties on a daily basis, i.e., shipping and receiving of inventory and proper storage of parts.
Monitors accuracy of bin maintenance, stocking and transfer pulling to insure customer satisfaction.
Monitors expense budgets for repair and maintenance of equipment and overall building expenses.
Communicates directly with purchasing department and/or Vendors on shipment errors and inventory needs, and schedules all inbound overseas containers to be received.
Responsible for training and development of all warehouse personnel, to include hiring and evaluating employees.
Works directly with satellite managers on maintaining accurate delivery of stock orders and sold product transfers delivered on a daily basis.
Comply with all safety standards and requirements to assure a safe and hazard-free workplace.
Initiate and support the continual improvement of Keystone Automotive Industries' quality improvement system.
Maintain the weekly reports assigned.
Assumes other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
Education & Experience: High School graduate or G.E.D. equivalent preferred. Additional computer training desired. The successful candidate will have management experience in transportation and material handling activities for high volume warehousing and/or freight consolidation trucking terminal operations. Experience should include operations, process development and documentation skills.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Supervisory responsibilities require excellent communication and organization skills with strong knowledge of personal computer use with skills in MSOffice. Budget creation and financial monitoring of operations, including service provider costing, cost statement analysis, and strong customer service emphasis. Must be attentive to detail and ensure accuracy in work assignments. Should possess special skills in the operation of a forklift in negotiating the lift in close quarters. Must be familiar with the company's products and warehouse methods, techniques and procedures.
Machines, Equipment, and Software: Forklift, order selector, pallet jack, tow motor, pull cart, ladder, telephone, copier, fax machine, computer, and Microsoft Office software.
Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment: This position requires individuals to constantly be on their feet except when operating machinery or performing supervisory responsibilities. They must be able to stand for long periods, sit, walk, push, pull, bend, climb, and be able to move/lift up to 75 pounds regularly. They must be able to climb ladders, stairs, and withstand heights of more than 15 feet. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme cold and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is moderately loud. Must have the flexibility to work variable schedules, including weekends.
Preferred Qualifications:
College coursework desired. At least 5 years supervisory experience preferred. Bi-lingual Spanish candidate and experience in an environment using Lean/Toyota Production System techniques is a plus.

Loading Associate - Front End
General Description/Purpose
The primary function of the Customer Service Associate (CSA) I - Loader is to assist customers with all of their shopping needs. The CSA I -Loader is responsible for providing excellent customer service by responding to customer inquiries and helping customers with locating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise along with responding to requests for assistance throughout the store. This includes supporting checkout functions and other customer services as needed. The CSA I - Loader is responsible for preparing quick-load items, replenishing shelf stock, and using power equipment as needed. The CSA I - Loader is also required to maintain a safe and secure work environment by conducting daily safety reviews, noting hazards, keeping store areas clean and organized, and monitoring for potential theft or security risks. Lastly, the CSA I - Loader is responsible for completing all other duties as assigned.
Work Schedule
- MUST HAVE OPEN AVAILABILITY*
Requires morning, afternoon, and evening availability any day of the week. Required to work a Corporate schedule determined by Staffing Department, but may be changed by store management based on the needs of the store. Requests to be scheduled off for a specific day require advanced notification and approval by supervisor. Hourly Full Time or Part Time: Generally scheduled 39 to 40 or 10 to 25 hours per week, respectively; more hours may be required based on the needs of the store.
Key Responsibilities
Assists customers as needed in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and/or loading merchandise.
Responds to code 50's, call buttons, departmental pages, or requests for assistance.
Responds knowledgeably and promptly to all customer and employee questions by taking them to areas of the store and walking them
through projects when necessary.
- Observes and validates items being carried in and out of the store by checking receipts and load tickets.
Detects common signs of shoplifting, theft, and other security risks, and promptly communicates them to management and/or Loss
Prevention.
- Complies with all safety procedures, makes note of any safety hazards, and completes daily safety hazmat review (DSHR).
Ensures good housekeeping standards are in place, and programs, such as Area Recovery, are executed daily to guarantee that the store
(including work areas) is clean and organized at all times.
- Notifies Manager/Manager on Duty (MOD) of customer complaints, dissatisfaction, and procedure violations.
Follows IMPACT model of customer service by initiating, making assessment, providing assistance, adding on sales, closing sales, and
thanking the customer.
- Provides customer service at all times through the daily execution of (and not limited to) the customer greeting, phone answering, price
guarantee and special order, and Installed Sales and Delivery programs.
- Reviews loading tickets/order sheets.
Prepares quick-load items.
Provides prompt support to all checkout functions.
Pulls orders for customers and contractors by pulling paperwork, reviewing orders on the computer, and using power equipment.
Monitors entrance for security issues and communicates issues and solutions to management.
Uses Kronos to look up schedule and log PTO (Paid Time Off) requests.
Writes down customer information and date of pick up and attaches the information to orders.
Uses power equipment to handle freight when needed.
Down stocks merchandise by looking for empty areas on shelves and replenishing supplies.
Promotes and offers customer loyalty programs (e.g., MyLowes).
Verifies description and price as merchandise is scanned.
Minimum Qualifications
6 months experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
AND 6 months experience using a handheld device (e.g., mobile phone, LRT gun, palm pilot, tablet, iPod) to enter,
access, and output information.

Loading Operator - Day Shift
Overview
The Loading Operator is responsible for bring boxed windows to staging area via carts, pick orders and push via cart to loading area, then load into trucks.
Responsibilities
Movement of carts in and out of production work area
Manually off-loading finished units into trucks
Using ropes to tie units into assigned areas of trucks
Utilize production reports to assist in production planning
Ensures overall quality of work produced by performing quality audits and engaging in problem solving activities to resolve issues of concern
Observes applicable safety, health and environmental guidelines. Wears all required personal protective equipment
Participation in cross-rotation with other operators as needed
Supports the cross training initiative to include assisting other employees with training as needed
All other tasks assigned by the Supervisor
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Ability to read and interpret common statistical data, productivity reports, and written instructions
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Capable of using computerized equipment
Physical Demand:
Ability to lift 50 pounds on a continual basis. Able to lift above shoulder height and below the waist
Will require standing, walking and working on concrete surfaces for long periods of time

Receiver/Stocker Position Description Responsible for safe, accurate and efficient receiving and stocking of in bound freight. Greet and acknowledge all customers in a friendly, professional manner and provide quick, responsive customer service.
Job Requirements Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing and knowledge of weights and measures. Understand and respond appropriately to basic customer and employee inquiries. Read, write and communicate using English language sufficient to perform job functions . Ability to operate store equipment in assigned area (including but not limited to LRT, telephone, paging system, copiers, fax machines, computers, CCTV surveillance system, key cutting, panel saw, paint mixing computer, blind cutting, forklifts, pallet jacks, electric lifts, etc).
