STATEMENT OF JOB
Works under the direction of the Cartridge Department Supervisor to assemble, paint, package, leak test (hydro-test with water), inspect, reclaim, prepare for refilling and fills cartridges and cylinders with either CO2 or nitrogen). Must hand stamp cartridges, operates pneumatic hand tools, power grinders and wire brushing machines, and performs minor maintenance.

Knowledge of simple mechanics and basic math is required. Mechanical aptitude required. Primarily works with light to average weights, with some heavy lifting.
Operator is on their feet for the entire shift. Must be able to tolerate working in and with various oils.
1.Processes all cartridges received from distribution by visually checking each cartridge for body damage, removing the shipping cap with a pneumatic hand drill, removing cartridge seals, and using a variety of gauges, checks plug diameter, seal depth, and thread wear. Determines if these cartridges can be reused.
2.In order to issue credit, counts and sorts all cartridges received and verify those cartridges returned with a packing slip. Checks and corrects packing list for accuracy. Verifies customer counts to determine if returned cartridges are Ansul product. If not, scrap credit is not issued.
3.Hand loads pressurized cartridges into a test tank containing heated water and places plastic caps over the cartridges. Observes each cartridge for traces of leakage, on removal from tank, separates "leakers" from cartridges going on to other operations. Raises and lowers test tank floors to adjust for different size cartridges.
4.Record (by size) the number of cartridges processed and the number of cartridges requiring the rework of scrapping. Identifies the reasons why cartridges leak in test tanks, and records the number of leakers (according to size).
5.Adds proper amounts of rust inhibitor to adjust for any deficiencies as determined by the Q.A. lab titration sheets.
6.Manually sets up filling machine.
7.Operates filling machine to fill various size cartridges with nitrogen and CO2 to correct weights.
8.Performs necessary rework on refill or reject cartridges.
9.Performs minor maintenance and troubleshoots machine.
10. Loads and operates an automatic cartridge seal assembly machine by scooping washers and bushings into machine feeder, adjusting air pressure, watching the automatic assembly process and correcting (by hand) any cartridge seals improperly assembled.
11. Operates a cartridge-stamping machine by changing fixtures to accommodate various cartridges, changing head stamps and adjusting weight stamp for each cartridge. Adjusts air pressure to insure proper stamp depth and records type of cartridge and number sequence of cartridges stamped.
12. Visually checks cartridges for pitting, thread damage, etc. Prepares cartridges for filling operation by selecting the proper cartridge seals for assembly, dipping seals into oil and starting seal into cartridge threads by hand. Uses a pneumatic wrench to tighten. Occasionally uses a wrench to remove burrs from cartridge threads. Wire brushes cartridges.
13. Weigh cartridges and insures that weight falls within the appropriate range.
14. Mixes paint by adding three different ingredients according to paint manufacturer's specifications. Checks for proper viscosity. Places paint in vibrator for proper mix.
15. Operates an automatic cartridge spray paint conveyor by loading and unloading moving conveyor, adjusting air pressure, paint flow, and visually checking painted cartridges for paint consistency and proper coverage.
16. Operates gas fire oven to bake paint onto cartridges.
17. Prepares cartridges for shipment by weighing the cartridges and applying the appropriate decals.
18. Sets up and operates heat sensitive wrapping machine for cartridges.
19. Packages cartridge in individual and master cartons. Visually checks cartridges for pitting, thread damage, etc.
20. Assists Cochran Lab as needed and may be require certification for 5-year retest.
21. From written instructions, fills tanks with metal conditioning and plating solutions. Following written instructions from the Q.A. Inspector, makes all necessary additions to the solutions to maintain proper titration strength in the metal conditioning tanks. Periodically dumps all metal conditioning tanks.
22. Performs housekeeping and other related duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
23. Immediately shuts down unsafe processes and locks out equipment as per JCI safety policy.

Friction Stir Welding Technician
As part of the manufacturing and assembly team, the friction stir welding technician will be responsible for welding multiple aluminum alloys using the friction stir welding process They will manufacture, assemble and support testing of hardware that meets the requirements of Blue Origin's launch vehicle programs. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable spaceflight.
Friction stir welding of aerospace aluminum alloys to include 2xxx, 6xxx and 7xxx in sheet, plate, tube or other forms.
Design support and fabrication tooling for welding and assembly.
Fit-up, assembly and weld tight tolerance hardware for test and flight use.
Accurate use of precision hand tools.
Communicating with engineers on design concepts/improvements/feedback.
Reviewing, editing and following Work Instructions for welding and assembly work.
Safely working within an industrial environment.
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in friction stir welding of Aerospace aluminum alloys or 5 years of experience in CNC programming and manufacturing of aerospace hardware
Demonstrate capability to use standard mechanical tools, fabrication shop equipment and develop fixtures/tooling
Interpret engineering drawings, fluent in use of precision hand tools and familiar with use of personal computers
Must be self-motivating and able to schedule and prioritize weld projects to meet project completion dates. Individual must have team-player attitude

Roll Tender Operator / Machine Operator
Our Roll Tender Operator is an important position of the dryer sheet manufacturing process. You will monitor fabric simultaneously being pulled from multiple rolls on a wall grid, all coming together into a "Pull Section" (like the lanes of a highway all coming together into one). Here are the three main phases:
1. Load the wall grid: place the fabric rolls onto horizontal spindles (rods), with the assistance of a lift for the higher spindles.
2. Feed the machine: route all fabric from all the rolls into the "Pull Section".
3. Documentation: complete the paperwork verifying that you have used the correct fabric, lengths, and cuts.
This is a physical position that requires you to move constantly, monitor for fabric breaks, take measurements, make adjustments, check in with the personnel packing the sheets, and complete real time documentation.

Remove roll of leftover paper from press after automatic splicing. May operate mechanical truck to transport rolls of paper to press area. May assist with some of the make-ready tasks associated with the type of press operated such as hanging plates, examining plates, prepping and installing blankets, adjusting tension etc. May clean press and clean and install press components to maintain press in working order. May prepare and Prepares and loads flat stock into a sheet fed press.
Requires general knowledge of offset presswork procedures and materials.
Ability to read and follow job specifications to determine materials needed to run the job successfully.
Ability to make adjustments to auto splicer.

Vos responsabilités seraient :
Gérer la réponse aux appels d'offres en suivant la stratégie définie par le leader commercial de Service et Maintenance et en collaboration avec les équipes commerciales globales
Analyser les prérequis des clients en termes de Service et Maintenance et les traduire en une proposition commerciale
Participer aux réunions de clarification
Mener à bien les évaluations de coûts et les études de risques pour la construction de l'offre
Développer l'outil d'estimation des coûts afin qu'il reflète la stratégie de Service et Maintenance
Développer la documentation du package commercial afin de l'adapter aux différentes solutions proposées aux clients
Participer aux revues internes afin de promouvoir la proposition sur le plan technique et commercial
Participer aux négociations avec les clients
Faire le lien entre les membres du département Service et Maintenance et les équipes commerciales afin faire remonter les exigences opérationnelles, logistiques, HSE etc.
Collaborer avec les équipes marketing et product development afin d'optimiser la compétitivité du produit
Montrer l'impact financier pour Service et Maintenance d'améliorations ou de customisations introduites par les équipes de design

In line with the introduction of a new industry-leading product, the Haliade X offshore wind turbine, GE is currently looking at strengthening its Service Commercial team with the aim of developing its Service portfolio in and out of Europe. In order to support the Service Commercial team, we are looking for a Service Tender Engineer for our Offshore Wind business, reporting to the Service Customer Manager.
Your responsibilities will be to:
o Manage the Service tender proposition in line with the strategy defined by the Service Commercial Lead and in coordination with Sales and Tendering team.
Analyse the Customer's service requirements and transfer it into the tender proposition
Participate in clarification meetings
Perform the cost and risk calculation for the Service tender
Maintain/Develop the Service cost estimation tool to reflect the Service strategy
Maintain/Develop Service documentation to support the Service offer
Participate in Service contracts adaptation for the different Service options
Participate in internal Gateway meetings to support the Service tender proposition
Participate in negotiations meetings with customers
Coordinate with the rest of Service Offshore team and ensure information transfer between Service Operation and Tendering
Work with Product Development and Marketing to maximise GE competitiveness for the customer
During design and customization phases, assess engineering change impact on Service costs
All in close corporation with the Sales & Tender department.

You have proven experience in the Offshore Wind business, preferably in Service and Maintenance or Commissioning

Experience with development of simulation tools applied to cost and risk modelling would be a plus
