Receiving finished gift into EWM, keeping accurate records of finished gifts produced on the Pear lines and sending a daily production report. The Materials Coordinator 2 is also responsible for ordering components to support production schedules, returning materials to the warehouse and general housekeeping, SAP/EWM training will be provided. Specific job duties will be discussed during the interview process.
*This position works Day Shift January thru July.
Good intermediate math skills are required.
PC skills, SAP, EWM experience is a plus.

Fruit Gardener (Full-Time)
The Thomas Jefferson Foundation seeks a full time Fruit Gardener to maintain the Monticello orchards and vineyards to a high horticultural standard. The position requires a sound knowledge of viticulture and pomology; experience with pesticides and fertilizers; and a basic broad horticultural understanding.
Typical duties include pruning and training, tying, pest control (Integrated Pest Management), mulching, planting, harvesting, grafting, string-trimming, mowing, litter control, and snow and ice removal. Successful candidates will be comfortable speaking to groups and leading workshops. Knowledge of the safe use, operation, and preventive maintenance of common landscape equipment including spray equipment is essential.
Experience with common grounds maintenance techniques is required: pruning methods, planting techniques, watering, safe usage of chain saws, etc. The gardener in this position must also be willing to assist in garden and grounds maintenance outside fruit gardens on an as needed basis. This position requires working outside in all weather conditions, repetitive stooping, stretching, bending, lifting, and the ability to safely operate power equipment.
Minimum of an Associate's Degree in horticulture, viticulture, or related field and valid driver's license is required. Must have or be able to acquire a Virginia State certified pesticide applicator license. Schedule is 7 AM to 3:30 PM Monday Friday with occasional weekend hours.
