Production Stage Hand -Hourly
Under the direction of the Civic Center Production Management staff, assists with the set-up, production, and tear down of a variety of events. Performs clean-up and maintenance work to restore the venues after events have ended.
A working knowledge theatrical and concert production, lighting, stage management, electricity, and trades involved in staging of shows, meetings, banquets, and exhibitions is preferred, but not required. Will train.
Must have a reliable means of transportation.
A working knowledge of the following is preferred:
Forklifts, scissorlifts, & aerial man lifts.

Essential Job Functions:
Most work is done indoors, but there are limited duties performed outdoors. Frequent heavy lifting of 50lbs or more is required. Frequent bending and walking is also required.
Work hours will vary including split shifts, nights, weekends and some overnight work and may require long hours at times. Stage hands are scheduled to work on an as needed basis.

- STATEMENT OF THE JOB
Every full- or part-time Drive Hand is responsible for full service to diesel customers including the proper, safe, and efficient refueling of diesel customers' vehicles. Additionally, Drive Hands are responsible for keeping the outside store area and parking lot clean and free of debris. Each shift will be assigned specific duties and individuals filling those shifts will be responsible for accurate completion of those duties.
THE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ARE:
Observes shift operating hours at all times, as assigned by the Store Manager.
Performs specific tasks as assigned by the Store Manager.
Assists the Store Manager in seeing that the store maintains a store-inspection grade of at least 90% on the store-inspection report.
Adheres to all city, county, state, and federal regulations.
Adheres to all Company policies.
Gives all customers prompt and courteous service.
Follows the work schedule as posted, unless a change in schedule is arranged with the Store Manager.
Stays familiar with the Company Policy Manual, and bulletins.
Ensures the Store Manager is made aware of all sales, cash, or operating discrepancies.
Operates shift within Company guidelines to achieve sales and profit.
Advises the Store Manager of any personnel situations or policy violations having an adverse effect on store operating performance.
Shares the responsibility for controlling the inventory on the shift.
Protects Company assets at all times.
Fill every diesel vehicle and call in to the fuel desk
Check oil when requested
Keep the front lot clean from trash
Make sure all pump islands (gas & diesel) trash cans and all other area trash cans are emptied
Fill windshield fluid and brown paper
Replace old squeegees
Clean up minor gas or diesel spills
Mop the front tile
Change outside signs when needed
Post signs on out-of-order equipment.
Post signs on hazardous conditions, such as wet floors.
Immediately advise the Store Manager of any maintenance problems.

THE REQUIREMENTS FOR THE JOB ARE:

Be able to clean the parking lot and grounds surrounding the convenience store.
Be able to see and identify objects or people up to 40 yards from the register area.
Be able to use fingers bilaterally and unilaterally (one handed) in the operation of store equipment. Ex: cash registers, computers, and adding machines.
Be able to stand on your feet for up to a full nine-hour shift in a performance of job duties.
Be able to bend, stoop, push and pull.
Be able to work as a "team" member to assure constant and consistent customer satisfaction.
