JOB SUMMARY: Fabricate, repair and finish costumes and accessories and other aesthetic elements of Universal Parks and Resorts. Responsibilities include costume construction, patterning and pattern alterations, machine and hand sewing, mold making, working with silicone, fiberglass repair, casting, pigmentation, painting and foam carving.
Properly plan and assess project documentation, tools and materials before during and after each task.
Properly prep tools and materials for each assigned project through proper setup and adjustment or through mixing of polymers and coatings.
Fabricate or repair each assigned project by following Project Planning Sheet, Standard Operating Procedures, Detailed Task Instructions and other information as directed.
Properly follow established art direction.
Properly track and record required information through Maximo.
Properly document and update projects and processes through SOP's, Project Planning Sheets, DTI's, Material Requests Forms and other documentation standards as required.
Support general business operations by keeping assigned 5S area neat and organized. Contribute to the overall cleanliness of the shop by helping others clean and keeping tools well maintained. Help to transport and deliver items to our customers and support partners as required.

The Behavior and Transfer Coordinator serves as the lead for all behavior assessments, facilitates and coordinates animal transfers in collaboration with approved PACFA licensed transfer partners or PACFA licensed rescue agencies, and Aurora Animal Services socialization, enrichment, and behavior modification programs. In this role the Behavior and Transfer Coordinator has a wide range of responsibilities to include, but not limited to, coordinating behavior assessments, and re-assessing animals on an as needed basis, oversee the Aurora Animal Services behavior and transfer program to include cultivating relationships with approved transfer partners, selecting appropriate animals for transfer and maintaining communication internally and externally about animals being transferred.
The Behavior and Transfer Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring shelter animals are cared for in a manner consistent with Aurora Animal Services assessment, enrichment, foster, adoption, and transfer programs while maintaining the Aurora Animal Services standard of care.
This staff position is also responsible for assisting the Foster Care Coordinator in fulfilling his/her duties regarding animals in need of Foster homes for behavior modification PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs and coordinates behavior assessments for animals.
Make euthanasia decisions for animals whose behavior or history prevents them from being an adoption or transfer candidate.
Enrichment and Behavior Modification:
Develop, implement, and oversee behavior program protocols and procedures.
Identifies and organizes behavior modification programs for animals in our care.
Participates in behavior modification efforts, and coordinate team involvement.
Attends and participates in behavior training programs as assigned.
Ensures that animals receive quality care from any and all staff assisting with the behavior and transfer of animals.
Coordinate and complete all transfer/transport details of animals in need of transfer. This will include but is not limited to, transportation to and from the Everyday Adoption Center. This may also include utilizing the assistance of staff and/or volunteers as needed.
Oversees transfer program policies and procedures while adhering to transfer policies and procedures.
Maintain and cultivate relationships with transfer partners.
Serve as primary point of contact with transfer partners.

Lendio is growing rapidly and is looking for a Full-Time Desktop Support Technician to be the central point of contact for all IT related incidents in our NY office.
The role of the Desktop Support Technician is to provide support for all staff members; identify and resolve issues and help desk tickets; manage and deploy images and updates; assist Utah IT personnel on special projects and perform all other duties as assigned.
- Hardware and software setup and installation
- New User Set Up
- Perform basic PC repair and troubleshooting on both Mac and Windows computers
- A/V equipment setup and troubleshooting
- Inventory management
- Support Microsoft Office products
- Support both Mac and Windows OS
- Any other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Well versed in Windows desktop environments, including Active Directory
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, MS Outlook

- Operational break/fix support knowledge
- Basic knowledge of network connectivity
- 2 years previous desktop support experience required
- Strong technical knowledge and analytical skills
- Self-starter and motivated to do more
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- General knowledge of ticketing systems

Seamstress II (Costumer)
To assist in the construction, tailoring and/or maintenance of show costumes for current and/or new shows, special events, special shows, costume characters, technicians and employees. Also responsible to perform duties including, but not limited to, costume shop opening and/or closing duties, distribution of daily costumes or uniforms, record keeping of supplies used/needed, daily laundry and/or dry cleaning data upkeep, daily costume repair, and viewing shows, as directed, for costume quality assessment. This position will also play a key role in the training of new ambassadors, as needed and directed. Must communicate well with ambassadors, contracted support, supervisors and stage management while maintaining a positive attitude.
Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Theme park experience preferred
One (1) year of professional experience as a seamstress, dresser, costume tech, wardrobe mister/mistress or equivalent related experience preferred
Experience in costume construction, design build, alterations and maintenance of costumes
Must have advanced experience in hand-sewing & machine sewing
Must have advanced experience craftwork, gluing & painting of fabrics & accessories
Must have advanced experience with repair and maintenance costumed character control mechanisms & fur
Must have advanced knowledge of wardrobe run crew in a theatrical setting
Must have advanced knowledge of and ability to use basic tools related to the costume industry (i.e. seam ripper, hand needle, and scissors)
Must have advanced knowledge of and ability to use expert tools related to the costume industry (i.e. hem gauges, rotary cutters, bent handled scissors and serger)
Must have advanced knowledge of and ability to use or willing to learn advanced tools related to the costume industry (i.e. rotary cutters, serger, bent handled scissors, and pattern making rulers)
Must have experience or be willing to learn make-up designs and application techniques, including airbrush
Must have experience or be willing to learn wig care and maintenance
Must be able to pass practical sewing test at the Seamstress II level at time of contingent offer
Must have a working knowledge of the English language with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and be able to respond to immediate needs
Must have the ability to work as part of a team, communicating and resourcing with internal and external departmental ambassadors
Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes weekdays, weekends, evenings and holidays.
Must be able to walk and/or stand for long periods of time in extreme weather
Must be able to obtain a SWSA driver's license for on/off site pick-up and delivery
Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds and climb stairs
Must practice safe work habits including, but not limited to the use of personal protective equipment, lifting and reporting of unsafe situations
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assisting in the patterning, draping and construction of new costumes
Maintenance, repair and rebuild of current costumes
Fittings and alterations of costumes
Costumed character maintenance, including, but not limited to, disassembly & repair of control mechanisms, fur repair, and feet repair
Shop opening and closing duties, including, but not limited to, deployment & pick up of daily show costuming, daily laundry duties, and daily reports
Work with the cast, crew and stage management to maintain safety and integrity of shows
Conducting training for new costume shop ambassadors, as directed.
Filling in for Dresser position, as needed
Oversee safety as it pertains to SEA best practices and all other relevant industry guidelines
