Thermal Fuse Process Engineering Manager
Evolve Additive Solutions is creating the future of plastics manufacturing with Selective Thermoplastic Electrophotographic Process (STEP) technology -- the first Additive Manufacturing technology to rival traditional processes like injection molding in quality and cost, while bringing to industrial scale the advantages of Additive. The Thermal Fuse Process Engineering Manager will be responsible for perfecting the process of building a part from layers that are successively fused to one another. They will also lead the activity of turning Evolve's build process technology into a robust commercial design. This would include:
Investigation of a thermal process that creates a strong and accurate part from selectively deposited layers of polymer. Determine the interplay between process and material parameters that are critical for developing strength, accuracy and surface finish.
Identification of critical-to function parameters and identifying target values and ranges of CTF parameters.
Specification for design of build process hardware and controls - creation and management.
Verification of the design of build process hardware and controls for process capability.
Understand technical risks and develop/execute mitigation plans.
Ensures regular communication with project manager and cross-functional engineering team; clearly communicates requirements and specifications for the build process.
Lead, manage and facilitate communication and interaction among all team members. Provide work direction and team motivation.
Work collaboratively with Human Resources to ensure that team members are performing to expectations. Mentor individuals, as needed.
Provide feedback to functional manager regarding employee performance for annual reviews and skill/career development.
Required: Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics or Polymer Science, with an emphasis in thermal analysis; PhD preferred
Greenbelt required (black belt preferred) robust design and Six-sigma training with job experience developing a complex, cross-functional product
Expertise in DOE including competency of relevant analysis tools such as Minitab, JMP or Stat-Ease.
Creative problem solving--relating build properties to materials and process parameters
Knowledge of analytical tools necessary in diagnosing root causes of non-conformance (for example, SEM's, ESCA, etc.)
Networking with appropriate academic or industry experts to help solve a problem
10-15 years' industry experience
Processing of polymers in creating a part, such as injection molding or Selective Laser Sintering background preferred
Knowledge of heating (e.g., laser) and cooling methods desirable
Minimum 5 years supervising, leading and directing technical teams and individual contributors
Skills of simplification / effective communication / team player

SUMMARY: Repair, maintain, and troubleshoot dies in tool room and punch press. Perform timely and accurate changeovers per production requirements.

Perform basic maintenance on existing dies; perform both planned and unplanned work within estimated times

Promptly reports quality problems and shuts down the equipment if unable to resolve.

The Cheese Maker is responsible for ensuring optimum quality products through batching and processing of various product families following regulatory standards, ensuring the product and process is clean and sterile. The Cheese Cook is also responsible for maintaining and cleaning all equipment in assigned area.
Familiarity with all applicable cheese making equipment and provide quality inspections on all related items.
Test, monitor and batch all products in accordance to established procedures and policies.
Ensure curd is over and processed as soon as possible to protect curd freshness and texture.
Maintain communication with other departments, management and employees and notify them of any problems and/or concerns that may restrict the efficiency of production.
Ensure all paperwork is filled out in a clear, legible and accurate format, and completed with required information.
Ensure all required information is documented in accordance with SOP's.
Analyze process data and equipment performance data to improve quality, throughput, and troubleshoot.
Utilizing continuous improvement mindset, assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes.
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices.
Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe work area.

Will be required to retrieve ingredients from the warehouse daily. Enter brine required into the system. Follow program instruction in preparing pickle.
Transfer brine from lixator tanks at the appropriate salometer level. Scan all ingredients with scanner before adding to the pickle. Follow process instructions as per the touch screen.
Transfer pickle to appropriate tank. Enter all required information into the Plant.View QA System. Turn in work order with total amount completed.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Team member may wear a dust mask- it is encouraged but not mandatory (up to the team member) Complete all required production documents and submit to supervisor daily. Report any issues related to maintenance or quality of the product to supervisor.
Two to three years related experience and or training or equivalent combination of education and experience Plant View, EIM and SAP. Ability to operate equipment using a touch screen.
Must be forklift certified or become certified or have one to two years prior forklift operating experience. Recruiting areas-Harris County. Must have at least 6 months continuous work history with the same employer in the last 12 months. Recent graduates or students currently in school within the last 6 months must add this information under the education notes section.

We are currently searching for a Chemical Batch Maker to work in our manufacturing facility in Maple Shade, NJ. A Chemical Batch maker is responsible for blending and mixing of various pigments, resins, hardeners and other raw material additives to produce acceptable in-process batches per approved batch instruction sheets with a minimal number of corrections.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
High School Diploma with some college level chemistry preferred.
Minimum 2 years prior related experience or 1 year experience as a production batch maker.
Must pass standard eye exam (corrected or uncorrected) and must pass standard color-tone testing.
Must be capable of wearing Company standard respirators as qualified by a fit test performed by an authorized agency.
Lifting up to 50 pounds.
Stooping, bending, squatting up to 50% of the time
Standing and walking up to 90% of the time.
Sitting – None.
This will be a demanding and rewarding position.
