We are looking for a reliable Dispatcher to provide effective and efficient scheduling and routing of emergency and non-emergency work to field technicians. Provide excellent customer service with inbound customer inquiries as well as outbound follow-up calls. Responsible for creating and maintaining a positive customer experience while running an efficient operation providing best in class service. The Dispatcher is responsible for setting up the technician's workload assignments, monitoring those assignments, and supporting the Field Technicians and the Call Centers. Must be able to respond to inquiries quickly and accurately to best utilize resources.
REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monitors emergency and non-emergency orders to ensure orders are routed and completed by the appointed time including emergency locates.
Routes filler work to field service personnel by dispatching work orders via Mobile Data and/or Radio; by date and compliance deadline.
Evaluates field service routes; provides optimized routes for various field service personnel; adjusts field service personnel allocations based on quantity and severity of workload, and availability of resources.
Monitors field personnel efficiency throughout the day and makes recommendations to Resource Management Supervision based on findings.
Assigns, dispatches, and tracks emergency orders to ensure compliance to standards.
Gathers information for Pre-Notice of Incident (NOI) Reports; routes to Public Service Commission (PSC), Utility Protection Center (UPC), Community Affairs and Safety, Security & Corporate Compliance, STS).
Assists Sr. Dispatcher during mass outages to obtain information and coordinate activities of field service personnel.
Complete the 2pm route review to determine the need for overtime to complete remaining workload and report findings to the service center Point of Contact.
Verifies completion of previous day's orders; investigates and takes action on incomplete orders.
Assists field service personnel (e.g., checks account histories, meter status, premise conditions, appliance type and quantity, Meter Order Field Reading (MOFR), Shut Off for Non-Payment (SONP) orders, pending, why-noted orders).
Assists Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) with Estimated Time of Arrivals (ETAs) and technical questions; interprets codes and clarifies field service personnel comments.
Understand the basics fundamentals of Sentinel and the forecasting model.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Gas Control Load Demand Analyst

Conduct procedure review with Gas Controllers highlighting actions needed to be performed. Archive documents and close out procedures.
Maintain and publish a schedule of planned procedures impacting Company gas transmission and distribution systems. Provide, review, and support procedures with Gas Controllers on duty while procedures are executed. Document and record procedure completion.
Provide front line Gas SCADA technical support to Gas Controllers. May perform supervisor duties in the absence of the Supervisor and Manager.
Build relationships and partner with various gas operations and planning departments.
Two years of work experience in the natural gas business (i.e. operations engineering, gas supply, gas control, SCADA).
Must possess strong analytical skills to determine information management needs through job experience in the gas control area and information management systems to meet those needs.
Knowledge of and ability to apply DOT/ PHMSA, FERC, and PUC regulations.
Must have the ability to work independently with minimal direction on a daily basis as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment to successfully meet common goals.
Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field is strongly preferred.

Description of Job
With general direction from the Division Director, the position exists to manage, oversee, and direct all day-to-day activities and operations within the Field Operations groups of the Oil and Gas Conservation Commission through direct supervision and guidance of program managers within the Engineering, Field Inspection, Environmental, and Permitting groups.

Leadership and Management

Gas Operations is focused on ensuring the safe and reliable flow of natural gas to our customers. As a whole, Gas Operations is responsible for all aspects of PG&E's gas distribution and transmission operations including planning, engineering, maintenance and construction, restoration and emergency response.
Gas Operations Aviation Services provides transportation for personnel within the PG&E service area and such other destinations as necessary to meet Company objectives.
The Dispatcher Specialist position is responsible for scheduling and managing the fixed wing and helicopter flying schedules for all aviation operations at Pacific Gas & Electric Company. This includes scheduling flights using an electronic platform, revising and canceling of flights, working with external vendor for helicopter services according to weather, customer, employee requests, and government regulations, and managing the fixed wing crew manifest. This position will also advise the appropriate personnel of potential delays or cancellations and will monitor and track flights.
This position has work schedule of Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, with ten hours shifts.
Schedules senior PG&E corporate level, potential immediate, and/or emergency fixed wing or helicopter flights.
Identifies, analyzes and improves existing business processes within a department to meet new goals and objectives.
Ensures coordination and availability of data and resources for successful completion and support of all work.

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
The Senior Training Specialist for PECO Gas training is a content expert and/or training process expert who develops and delivers training that integrates business processes with skills and knowledge required for employees to safely and effectively perform job duties. Provides coaching and guidance to Training Specialist and Associate Specialist, as well SME Adjunct Instructors. The Senior Training Specialist, in a craft delivery position, partners with Engineering and Methods organizations to research and develop standards, procedures and processes for the business.
Position may be required to work extended hours, including 24 x 7 coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Deliver Technical Training content required for new hire and incumbent employees to perform job duties safely and in accordance with Delivery procedures and fundamentals. #CD# 50%

Participate in on-call or after hour supervisory duties. Applicants should have quality labor relation skills in order to interpret contract language, resolve grievances and discipline cases, initiate and institute corrective action where necessary. Maintain compliance with O.S.H.A., PSC, DOT regulations, and Operator Qualifications.

Extensive operations related work experience is required. Candidates with a Bachelor's Degree and related work experience will be considered. Prior leadership experience with a focus on Gas Construction, Gas Field Operations and Customer Meter Services is a plus.
Technical knowledge of distribution system, engineering, construction and maintenance practices. Knowledge of state and municipal gas codes. Working knowledge of company information systems and technologies related to field operations, including FWMS, FDC, ORACLE, MAXIMO, NRG, ADVANTEX, DIGSAFE etc.
Applicant must exhibit proven supervisory skills and ability to work effectively with others in a team environment is necessary. The candidate must possess an exceptional safety record, strong oral and written communication skills with the proven ability to maximize performance of subordinates.
