Position Title: Gear Cell Operator
Reports to: Department / Production Manager
Responsibilities may include:
Audit the quality of the processes by utilizing formal QAIP's and casual observations.
Set up, operate and adjust equipment.
Report any machine malfunctions and provide appropriate written information to maintenance.
Train new employees.
Maintain company lot tracking system.
Perform the assembly, de-burring, and processing of parts.
Prepare parts for shipment to vendors for outside processing.

Production Control, QA, Director of Operations, Maintenance, Tool Room, CNC, and Engineering.
Machine Operator Set Up Operator
Able to set up, run and troubleshoot collation and associated equipment.
50% of the time you will; Set up, operate, troubleshoot and repair collation and associated machinery
20% of the time you will; Operate collation and associated equipment in the event of labor shortages
20% of the time you will; Liaise with maintenance techs to perform major repair on collation and associated machinery
10% of the time you will; Train Operators to conduct minor repairs on collation and associated machinery
2 Years related experience and/or training required
Math: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs

Car Hustler / Set Machine Operator
Job Summary: Helps Operator by performing manual tasks and movement of kiln cars and straightening of stacks of bricks. Inspect bricks before drying operation and replace as necessary. Operates machine and equipment in relief of operator.
Constant standing/walking short distances up to 10 hours daily.
Ability to climb 8 steps frequently to raise platform area.
Ability to use both hands/arms simultaneously in movement of kiln cars and to exert push/pull force up to 100 lbs.
Frequent reaching, handling and grasping.
Ability to bend/twist frequently at waist and knees throughout workshift.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and perform assigned clean-up duties.
Must not be sight or hearing impaired; requires good peripheral vision.
Ability to work quickly, replacing bricks in stacks and coordinating movement to kiln cars.
Constant attention to detail in working around automated moving equipment.
Ability to inspect brick products.

Set up mechanically controlled production equipment such as; press brakes, saws, drills, spot welders, flame cutters, shears, fin/core machines, brazing oven / carousel and similar equipment for operation by self or others. Installs tools, dies or fixtures to produce parts to blueprint tolerance and specifications.
Use wrenches, hoists, gages and precision measuring equipment. Correlate machine positions with alignment, tool sequence, clearances and part dimensions. Set speeds, feeds and depth of cut adjustments.
Insures that first piece inspection is performed and approval is given. Marks approved piece as sample for operator. Ensures all safety features are functioning before operating press.
Sets all safety devices to perform properly. Advises supervisor of any irregularities in the job. Responsible for quality of own work.
Does weekly press inspections. Performs material handling as required. Maintains clean, safe and orderly work area.
Maintain accurate production and quality records. Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned by supervisor.

Volt Workforce Solutions is hiring for a Laser Set Up Operator for a reputable company in Louisville, Colorado. As a laser set up operator you will be expected to set up Amada CNC lasers for sheet metal using set up sheet and blueprints.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
Download programs at AMADA controller.
Adjust cutting conditions as needed to obtain quality parts.
Run production quantities of sheet metal parts.
Insure that all safety criteria is met.
Use Calipers and Height Gages to inspect parts.

Under minimal supervision operates a CNC lathe to perform machining operations such as turning, boring, facing, and threading parts such as castings, forgings, and bar stock by performing the following duties. I have 2 Positions on Second Shift - this position is Temporary to Hire Only.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Reads process sheets, blueprints, work orders and sketches of part to determine machining to be done and operating requirements.
Inserts beginning point of tape in reading head of control unit.
Mounts work piece between centers, in chuck, or to faceplate.
Selects and installs preset tooling in tool posts, turrets or indexing heads, and automatic tool change magazine, in sequence specified on process sheet.
Depresses buttons, toggles, or sets tape and starts machining operation.
Observes numerical displays on control panel and compares with data on process sheet to verify dimensional adjustments, feed rates, and speeds of machining cuts.
Turns dial and switches to override tape control and correct machine performance.
Inspects first run piece and spot checks succeeding pieces for conformance to specifications.
Studies job packet and organizes materials for next run during automatic tape controlled cycles to shorten changeover time.
Machines all types of metallic and nonmetallic materials.
Education and/or Experience:
Two years Technical or Trade School with appropriate certification; and five years related experience and/or training; or seven years equivalent combination of job-related education and experience.
CNC Set Up And Operator
This position will require the ability to perform CNC machine set-up and operation. This position may also be required to create edit CNC programs.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
Conduct all set-up and quality operations in support of machining for self and others.
