Essential Functions/Physical Limitations: Regular attendance is vital for this machinist role. Understanding and following instructions is a key role for this position. Work may require at times lifting, carrying, and bending of work station objects. The operator will also at times be required to stand and or sit for long periods of time.
Must have two years of CNC machine set up experience and must be able to work overtime as needed. Candidates with shift flexibility a plus. Troubleshooting machine and program issues by making corrections and or adjustments independently is vital to success in this role

The CNC Gear Setup Operator sets up and operates precision gear grinding machine with special indexing equipment to grind master and precision gears. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reads and interprets blueprints, planning sheets, sketches, layout, job order and related technical data for product specifications such as dimensions, tolerances, and number of parts to be ground, and tooling instructions such as grinding speeds, feed rates, holding fixtures, depth of cut and grinding wheel to be used while determining setup procedures, control settings, material requirements, machining methods, grinding operations and sequence of operations.
Computes machine indexing ratios and cam dimensions for specified spacing and contour of gear teeth. Selects index plate, cams, grinding wheel, feed rates, grinding speed, and depth of cut. Positions and secures index plate, cams, and grinding wheel in machine.
Sets up automatic dressing device to dress wheel to specified profile. Moves controls to set synchronized rotation speeds and feed rates. Positions and secures work piece on mandrel between centers or in chuck, and turns hand wheels to position work piece and wheel, verifying positions with thickness gauges, dial indicators, and micrometers.
Turns valve handle and directs flow of coolant against wheel and work piece. Moves controls to index work piece and feed wheel to work piece, adjusting depth of cut in part by sight and feel. Verifies dimensions of ground work piece for conformance to specifications. Grinds metallic materials.

Machine operator, CNC Milling Machine(Fadal) and FANUC controls. Experience is required. This is not a typical production position but more of a craftsman position with very unique styles and design. This is a Monday- Friday position working 7-3:30, with the potential for some overtime in the future. Pay is based on experience but will be $16-$17 per hour to start. CNC Set Up / Machine Operator
Set up and operate multi axis, numerical control milling machine to mill surfaces of metal castings and stock according to specifications and tooling instructions applying knowledge of machining methods.
This is for a first shift position (7 AM to 3:30 PM).
This position reports to the Machining Supervisor.
Set up jobs by loading program and fixtures into CNC.
Preparing and operating CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, etc.
Understanding specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blue prints, mechanical drawings, etc.
Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines.
Replaces milling, drilling, boring tools and inserts at specified change points.
Supervise the machines while they execute the machine cycle and make any necessary adjustments to produce parts to the dimensional standards.
Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with dimensional requirements to determine if the parts have been machined to the quality standards.
Uses inspection gages such as verniers, scales, micrometers and pin gages.
Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality.
Operate within all safety guidelines.

CNC Milling Set Up Machinist: 3 years+ experience
CNC Machinist required performing both setup and running on a vertical milling machine. Experience with setup and run of a Haas VM6 five (5) axes milling machine a big plus. The candidate will be performed under limited supervision in a timely manner to manufacture medium to small production runs mostly on aluminum with acceptable quality and output. Parts are to be manufacture in the allotted time while maintaining a high degree of quality control while being able to operate all machinery safely.
