You will operate a Gear pressand perform minor maintenance on equipment
You will communicate withaudit/quality control personnel to identify issues or concerns and maintain 5S
Youwill performs set-up on presses for different gear parts including adjustingmachinery, changing punches and dies as required, and ensuring parts remainwithin tolerance during production runs.
Youwill use gauges to check Gears per engineering specifications

Position Success Criteria:
Position may require daily overtime, 7 days a week and working holidays
Physical requirements include constantly being on your feet, using a set of tongs to grab hot valves and perform quality checks. The employee would be working in extreme heat in the summer. When operating an automated press the employee will be on their feet for their shift.
Some walking required when completing change overs or tooling changes.
Lifting up to 50 lbs., pushing, pulling when changing tooling. In addition to the plant wide PPE the operator is required to wear green tinted glasses, shop coat and gloves.
Flex Set Up Operator
Setup/Operator for Aida Presses, performs assembly work under Cell Leader and Team Leader.

Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.

This position is responsible for safe operation of multiple manufacturing machines of moderate complexity.
Setting up and pre-running of the equipment to ensure proper production start up.
Controlling of line speeds, batch formula production rates, starting and stopping equipment, and overall product elegance and safety.

Completing all required paperwork (for example: downtime HACCP etc. utilizing SAP SOP's Safety operation training as appropriate.)

Set Up Operator
Set up, trouble-shoot problems, change and adjust tooling and machines to meet blue print specifications, production and quality standards and to assure safe operations. Train other employees to operate machine correctly and safely.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work without direct supervision but perform as a team member in order to respond to other employees and supervisor's requests and assist other employees as needed.
Handle all materials and tools and have operating knowledge of all machines. Employee must be able to perform preventive maintenance, set up and make changes adjustments to tooling and machines plant- wide to assure the capability of meeting production and quality standards and operate safely.

The Sr. Gear Lab Inspector position is primarily responsible for inspecting and recording dimensions of aerospace components per process sheets, Inspection reports, blueprints and applicable specifications utilizing specified gages and methods to ensure the quality requirements are met prior to presenting the final aerospace component to the customers.
