JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Wrapping and labeling product, rotation of product, maintenance of signs, follows sanitation standards as set by management and stocking of smoked meat counter and freezer
Weight up any price per pound packages that will be displayed
Large emphasis on guest service with a friendly, helpful, and courteous attitude
Stocks and rotates meat merchandise in accordance with Buy For Less guidelines on merchandise presentation, safety, and sanitation
Start, stop, and regulate the speed of the conveyor
Set electronic scale and automatic pricing machine
Wrap protective plastic around product. Seal them by placing packages down on ?hot plate?
Rotates products in meat cooler and ensures proper storage practices
Keeps total department clean and in optimum sanitary conditions
Maximizing sales through excellent customer service and minimizing shrink through proper utilization of procedures
Ensure the production of high quality merchandise and service
Controlled freshness by rotating and coding all products and remove out-of-code merchandise

Meat Wrapper - Part Time, Store 2845
PURPOSE: Ensures meat is wrapped, weighted, priced, labeled and displayed properly. Fills display cases. Maintains cleanliness of department and equipment. Ensures customer service and product quality, freshness, safety and selection.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Adheres to Company and Division customer service programs to meet or exceed Division customer service goals. Handles customer relations in a positive manner, including effective resolution of customer complaints and reporting to the Meat Manager or Store Director as appropriate. Promotes Albertson's philosophy of personalized service.
Weighs, wraps, prices and labels poultry, meat, fish and other fresh products in the Meat Department.
Follows laws and Company policy on weighing, labeling, code-dating and the handling of reworked and reduced-to-clear items.
Receives and breaks down loads. Cuts cases, stacks, dates and marks merchandise, organizes and rotates product in cooler, organizes storage areas and refrigerates products immediately. Checks for quality and quantity. Maintains product quality by ensuring compliance with Company policies and federal and state regulations on handling, storage and temperatures.
Transports wrapped product from work area to display cases. Maintains and stocks display cases. Pulls out of code date and spoiled product. Ensures proper merchandising, signing, inventory level and eye-appeal of department.
May perform limited cutting duties for training purposes only.
Controls shrink and expenses.
Accurately completes and monitors daily log sheet and other required paperwork and logs.
Maintains and organizes meat department cooler and freezer. Ensures cleanliness and sanitation of sales floor, meat deli and butcher block cases, work areas, cooler, freezer, equipment and retail cases.
Ensures that product packaging, labeling, rotation and wrapping standards are met.
Ensures proper merchandising of product by understanding and implementing schematics, merchandising of advertised items, proper signing procedures and monitoring product flow. Complies with retail labeling laws, federal and state regulations and Company policies.
Complies with all federal, state and local health, and food handling and safety standards.
Assists customers by taking and filling special orders. Makes product suggestions and engages in suggestive selling. Makes intercom announcements.
Answers and responds to incoming calls appropriately.
Responsible for performing all job duties and responsibilities safely, accurately and with honesty and integrity.

SKILLS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to be friendly, courteous, tactful and maintain composure in dealing with customers and co-workers.
Ability to communicate orally and read and follow written work assignments.
Requires a good understanding of overall company practices and Meat Department policies and procedures. Requires the ability to judge and react to business activity.
Must have knowledge of product variety, standards, perishability, food safety, sanitation, labeling and department policies and procedures.
Frequently reaches, lifts, stacks and maneuvers objects of varying dimensions and weights up to approximately 80 lbs. Bends, stoops and reaches frequently and occasionally climbs ladders. Pushes and pulls fully loaded hand trucks, high boys and pallet jacks. Performs repetitious arm movement to package, weigh and wrap products.
Manual dexterity and good eye-hand coordination are necessary.
Mental alertness is necessary to ensure safe and accurate completion of work activities.
Requires knowledge of basic mathematics and weights and measures. Must have knowledge of taste, content and perishability of products, safety and sanitation procedures and department policies and procedures.
Operates scales, meat wrapping machine, computer software and electronic ordering devices to input price, weights, order and inventory and print labels.
Utilizes knives, scrapers and other cutting and wrapping equipment. Utilizes cleaning supplies and equipment. Utilizes safety cutters. Requires use of safety gloves.
May be required to work nights, weekends and holidays. Scheduled hours will vary. Good attendance is required.
Exposure to potential hazards exists with respect to cutting equipment and other work aids necessary to perform job duties.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Hands are frequently exposed to moisture while handling and stocking poultry, meat, fish and other fresh product. Requires the ability to work, for prolonged periods of time, in an environment range of 40˚ to 50˚ Fahrenheit. Hands are frequently exposed to 30˚ Fahrenheit while handling product in the display cases.
Exposure to 28˚ Fahrenheit while handling products in cooler and -20˚ Fahrenheit in freezer.
Working conditions consist of a temperature controlled store environment.

Responsible for ensuring that all company policies are being followed and the department goals are being obtained. Contributes to store sales and profitability by effectively managing all aspects of the Meat department such as stock levels, inventory, and customer service.
Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide customer service to guests
Assists guests with finding items they are looking for
Takes orders and other special requests
Packages, wraps, and prices all items to company standards
Answers the telephone and assists callers using proper phone etiquette
Wrapping products
Reduces shrink by using the appropriate packaging standards
Ensures accurate pricing by placing the corresponding price and ingredient labels on each package
Fills, rotates, and removes products from the sales floor
Identifies which products are at an unacceptable stock level and replenishes them with available supply
Maintains freshness by filling newer products to the back/bottom of the display and ensuring that closer dated products are sold first, as well as removing products that are outdated, or otherwise unacceptable to make available for sale
Maintains adequate level of supplies by replenishing packaging and other items as needed
Contributes to overall cleanliness of the department by picking up, organizing, and cleaning work areas, shelving, and sales floor as needed
Required to maintain food safety logs
Ensure all quality standards are being met, including quantity expectations at 100% by 10 am and 5 pm

Wrapper Line Associate - Room 2 - 1St Shift
Job Summary:
This associate will be responsible for catching pizzas as they come out of the freezing spiral and placing them on the line. Some rooms require a paper to also be placed on the pizza while placing the pizza on the line. The associate will also assist the wrapper line with opening holes. When in the position off of the catching line the associate will help with the cleanliness of the line, fill cardboard machines, and help with the cleanliness of the lines. Associate will assist in other areas as needed.

Place papers on pizzas.
Monitor and ensure HACCP
Fill out paperwork.
Set up, operate, and fill cardboard machines.
Weigh pizzas.

Consistently ensure the proper wrapping of all rolls with the following tasks:
Ensure the plastic is of correct width for roll size
On face-in products, write the finished roll number on backing before roll is wrapped
Position the roll in the cradle and secure the plastic in place, sealing the plastic wrap with the heat sealing tool, using tape where plastic seal is incomplete.
Apply the roll ticket to the side edge of the wrapped roll.
Ensure the correct roll ticket is on the wrapped roll, following roll sequence
Use core inserts to secure plastic in place.
Ensure that every roll is wrapped appropriately, no tears or holes, that the roll ticket is legible and not wrinkled.
Keep the supervisor or lead appropriately informed, notifying immediately of all problems and issues with roll ticket sequence.
Notify the supervisor or lead concerning any issues at the wrap station, such as defective plastic, poor seals, etc.
Be vigilant for all backing defects, notifying the inspector of any observed potential problem areas.
Communicate with the Roll-Up Operator concerning any rolls held for off-quality issues.
Maintain a clean work area with materials well organized,
Demonstrate dependability and consistent, punctual attendance for all work assignments.
Observe and comply with all EF policies and contribute to the EF culture of a high performance workplace.

A Tape Wrapper performs hands on activities/tasks associated with manufacturing Nozzles and components. Experience Requirements:
