Wrap the finished rolls of padding in plastic
There are 2 wrappers per Card Line. After the rolls are wrapped they are picked up and put in buggies by hand. Each card line will produce approximately 20,000 lbs of 1st quality padding per shift
Monitoring the quality of the product coming off of his machine.
Responsible for weighing the padding and giving the information to the Roll-up Operator.
Must break down the machine when there is a problem, such as jammed rollers, broke chains, etc.
Work with Maintenance personnel on machine breakdowns and to help with troubleshooting.
Responsible for helping with the entire clean up of his line
Report any deficiencies in safety, quality, or productions to the Card Line Operator.
Remove scrap from the roll-up and put into cages.
Drive Lift Truck to replace full buggies and move 12 foot rolls
Ability to perform basic math calculations such as addition and subtraction.
Ability to communicate in standard English to understand and follow verbal or written instructions and to keep simple records and make reports.
Ability to maintain an acceptable level of attendance in accordance with company and department guidelines.
Previous Manufacturing experience is preferred.
Ability to Multi-task .
Must be atleast 18 years old.
Ability to lift up to 100 pounds constantly throughout a 12 hour shift.
Ability to constantly bend, crouch, and stoop throughout the shift.
Must also be able to work in non-climate controlled facilities.
Ability to work in an environment that is noisy, high traffic production floor.

The wrapping equipment wraps two stacks of six hotcakes in mylar film and then sends the packaged hotcakes downstream to a casepacker. Ongoing management of product moving through the equipment infeed is critical at this position to ensure proper equipment operation and the prevention of equipment jams. A very clean manufacturing facility located in Rochester Hills is looking to hire a detail-oriented person who has experience in manufacturing. They wrap interior parts, such as dashboard, armrest, door panels, etc. with leather for Jeep and other automotive companies.
This is a very busy company with a lot of opportunity for overtime. Company has been in business for over 100 years. Their parent company is located in Italy and their sister company is located in New York. They started out making high-end furniture and luggage and now they have brought their processes to the US.
This is a 1st shift position from 6AM-2:30PM Monday thru Friday. Also, Saturdays are mandatory when the workload calls for it. Currently company is working 10 hour days and at least e/o weekend. A 2nd shift will becoming available soon. After only 90 days you have the ability to be hired in directly with raises, vacation days and 13 paid holidays and benefits are offered at that time. The benefits are very good.
Previous leather wrapping experience is a plus but not necessary as they will train. Anyone who has a mechanical background with good attention to quality and detail typically works out well. Good attendance and organizational skills are also very important.
This position requires that standing at a station all day, cutting, gluing and wrapping parts. They are responsible for getting a set number of parts out each shift. They have a training program and are very regimented with their training and evaluations especially in the 1st 30 days. After 90 days they are hired in direct. They can't miss any days in the 1st 30 or they are typically terminated, with very few exceptions.
A person with experience in making models, working on cars or general building maintenance seem to work out well.

Position Title: Manager of Philanthropy - Major/Campaign Gifts
Serves as a member of the Foundation development staff responsible for growing and maintaining a comprehensive major gifts program focused on attracting gifts in excess of $10,000 (or the defined major gift threshold).
