Utilize a plotter to create a computer cutout of tint film, and cut tint film by hand when necessary.
Perform work according to the latest OSHA and EPA regulations and standards.
Help keep the shop and the rest of your work environment orderly by cleaning up after every job, putting tools and equipment back in their proper place and performing janitorial duties when needed.

Under general supervision performs routine loading and unloading of materials within yard or work site; assembles load packages into truck for delivery to customer job sites.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trucks or customer vehicles and installs strapping, bracing or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
2.Performs load-building, determining the appropriate weight, composition, and placement of load based on customer order and capacity of delivery vehicle to ensure load is balanced and safe for hauling.
3.Reads work order or follows oral instructions to determine materials to be moved or loaded.
4.Conveys materials to or from storage to designated area using hand truck, electric dolly, forklift or other device.
5.Opens containers, units, slings and loads, using steel cutters, crowbar, claw-hammer or other hand tools.
6.Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales or other containers so as to provide for correct identification of items.
7.Understands and observes all safety procedures and practices in order to prevent injury to self or co-workers; attends periodic safety meetings as required; may recommend changes to improve safety procedures.
8.Other duties may be assigned.
May require forklift operator certification

Responds to insured's request, takes first notice of loss for auto glass repair and replacement. This position will work as a member of Tesla's Materials Test Lab to support materials and part level testing, focusing on glass products.
Perform & document a variety of testing on glass products, including
Mechanical – ring-on-ring, 4-pt bend, blunt and sharp object impact, abrasion, etc
Environmental – UV, thermal, humidity, chemical, etc
Characterization – color, surface profile, edge and bulk stress, etc

Job Description: Summary
Responsible for the day to day operating, monitoring, and repair of glass cutting machines in line with auto glass packing equipment and ultrasonic washers. The associate must be able to work both independently and as a team member and actively communicate with others to include workplace teams.
Responsible for meeting/exceeding production standards, maintaining product quality, and minimizing/preventing equipment downtime. Regular, punctual attendance is an essential job function. Ensures compliance with BD quality systems, policies, procedures and practices and all local, state, federal and BD safety regulations, policies and procedures.
1.Operate and monitor equipment cycles. Operators have complete responsibility for their quality, production, waste, and machine workability/accountability.
2.Perform machine set-up and changeovers.
3.Understand and operate inspection & testing equipment.
4.Responsible for performing preventive maintenance on cutting machines and equipment
5.Responsible for identifying and correcting any dimensional defects and cosmetic defects according to current QC specifications, to insure good quality.
