Glazier / Industrial Worker / Glass Handler
Glaziers - fabricate aluminum storefront window frames, curtain wall system frames, U channel style frames, set frames in opening, anchor frame in opening, set glass in frames, caulk joint around frame. Must be able to use power tools and hand tools, including drills, impacts, sawzall, chopsaw, powder actuated nail gun, spatula or trowel etc.
Industrial workers- An industrial worker is typically an entry level position beginning as a Glazier's helper, the industrial worker has the ability to learn both the fabricating and installation in the field of glazing and frames, with dedication and a good work ethic they can become glaziers.
Glass Handlers- Glass handlers may do a variety of work in a shop. They may run equipment that alters glass such as, tempering ovens, edgers - that bevel edges or smooth edges, hole saws - that cut holes in glass, package glass for shipping or crating, and various other jobs in a shop. CDL license is a plus.
Must be able to lift 70 pounds or more.
