Contacting customers regarding outstanding account balances
Coordinate setting and releasing of credit holds, answering A/R calls and sending collection notices

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to;
Inspects capsules on inspection belt, removes defects such as odd shapes, transfer marks, and leakers, scoops capsules into plastic lined and labeled box, twists bag closed and twist or cable ties bag, closing box and pushing box through box sealer. Moves stack of trays from drying tunnel, checks Stack Card to ensure time for drying has elapsed, pulls off top tray of Softlets, removes capsules with defects, scrapes capsules into Shaker Box and into Deep.
Separates defective capsules according to type of defect, loads into defect box, and marks type of defect on defect box. Cleans all equipment, machine parts, and Inspection or Packaging Room at complete changeover by using brooms, mops, compressed air, CIP, towels, 70% IPA and Purified Water. Clears Packaging Room and equipment at changeover of previous product, containers, and bags and completes appropriate paperwork such as Changeover Checklist.
Disassembles and cleans Sizer, at complete changeover by removing parts such as hoppers, hoses, chutes, metal detector, and other associated equipment and places equipment on side of room ready for next batch. Checks capsules for unacceptable defects such as slugs, color variation, pinholes, and other defects, and foreign material by inspecting Softlets/Softgels. Sets up packaging machines by entering data such as lot number, product code, number of capsules and sample weight on keypad according to specifications in the Batch Record.
Disassembles and assembles sizing, sorting, polishing, and packaging equipment at changeover and cleans with 70% IPA, documenting cleaning in Packaging Equipment Cleaning, Sizer Cleaning, Polisher Cleaning, and Room Cleaning Log Books. Inspects sorted capsules in Deep by running gloved and sanitized hand around and through capsules, removing any defects found, transfers capsules to Deep Dolly with scoop. Polishes Softlets and Softgels by loading product into Polisher with scoop, placing lint free towel dampened with 99% IPA in Polisher, starting machine, placing exhaust hose over Polisher opening, and running Polisher for time specified in Batch Record.
Sanitizes latex gloves with 70% IPA prior to touching any equipment or capsules to ensure product is not contaminated. Verifies label at start of a batch matches information in Batch Record and Label Record for correct information such as Lot number, code number, amount, expiration date, and product description.

Supervisory Supply Technician
This position serves as the Supervisory Supply Technician (Medical) for the Medical Supply Distribution (MSD) areas of Logistics Service within the VA Health Care System. As a Supervisory Supply Technician, you will ensure that supplies and material are distributed to all areas serviced by Logistics by directing, supervising and managing the primary inventory point that receives, stores and issues supplies and materials for both clinical and administrative service areas of the medical center.

Major duties and responsibilities include:
Plans work to be accomplished by subordinates; sets and adjusts short term priorities, and prepares schedules for completion of work based on priorities;
Advises, counsels and instructs employees on work and administrative manners, such as complaints, grievances, etc.;

Oversees the receipt of supplies and material into the medical center;

Conducts market research on all new products and ensures they are recorded in the automated inventory system;

Works with members of the vendor and/or contract community, managers, supervisors and other staff throughout the medical center on Logistics issues; and

JOB SUMMARY The Scrub Tech is responsible for ensuring the operating room environment is safe, equipment functions properly, and operative procedure is conducted under conditions that maximize patient safety. The Scrub Tech handles instruments, supplies and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure, understands the procedure being performed, and anticipates the needs of the surgeon. Duties of the technologist include, but are not limited to:
- checking supplies and equipment needed for a procedure;
- scrubs, gowns and gloves self, surgeon and assistants;
- performs appropriate counts with circulator prior to the operating and before the incision is closed;
- assists in draping the sterile field;
- passes instruments to the surgeon during the procedure;

- assists with terminal cleaning of room;
- leans and prepares instruments for terminal sterilization
