The primary responsibilities of this position include managing and directing grading crews involved in site work, paving, and utilities. The Grade Foreman plans, coordinates, and directs daily tasks to ensure that work is completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. The Foreman must have broad functional expertise as well as the ability to solve routine and complex problems.
Oversee crews performing site work.
Read and understand project plans and specifications.
Communicate construction needs --material, equipment, and staffing'in a timely manner to Superintendent to prevent delays.
Inspect work areas throughout construction process to ensure the quality and accuracy of work meets specifications and that crew meets productivity goals.
Monitor and ensure that crew follows safety policies and procedures.
Complete required reports (production, personnel time and attendance, vehicle, safety, inspection) on a daily/weekly basis
Recommend and implement measures to improve production methods and equipment performance to improve efficiency.
Initiate and participate in personnel actions including hiring, discipline, evaluation and promotion of employees, and terminations.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

This position will require an operator to be proficient in fine grading to a finished surface to be paved upon, that will meet all conditions required in the specifications.
Oversee the operations of a grading crew including safety, quality, scheduling, logistics, equipment selection, personnel management and product placement. Estimator - Grading - (Eg-010.26)
The Estimator is responsible for quantifying pricing on grading activities in coordination with the District Managers, Joint Venture Partners and Lane Estimating team.
Including but not limited to:
Quantify project components assigned by the leading estimator - in this position the concentration is on grading.
Visit project to understand site conditions/restrictions
Accurately utilize project plans and specifications to identify scopes of work, assign crews (labor and equipment), productions, schedules, materials and subcontracting opportunities
Communicate and follow-up with subcontractors and suppliers to solicit quotations for each project
Actively communicate with Owners, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure projects' minority goals are met
Work on a preliminary project schedule based on the information provided in the plans and specifications utilizing Primavera P6 or Primavera Contractor software
Work with the team to close the estimate in HCSS
Research pricing for estimates based on historical and regional costs
Research new bidding opportunities and newly advertised projects within the division's territory
Assist in creating, organizing and maintaining vendors and subcontractors lists in order to facilitate quotes for projects

4-year BS Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a similar discipline is required
Minimum 4 years of experience as an Estimator or office/field engineer for grading activities

Sundt Construction's Transportation group is looking for Field Superintendents to join our Arizona Operations Team. We have local site work (Underground Utilities and grading) due to recent growth that needs good Field Superintendents to run!
The Field Superintedent will manage day-to-day construction activities, including supervision of craft employees and subcontractors. Also, they will schedule field activities in coordination with the project schedule and are responsible for safety, production goals, quality control, and cost control. They may also supervise one or more craft groups and/or scopes of work.
ResponsibilitiesOn self-perform projects this position may acquire, develops and manages craft field team, including: establishing and communicating performance expectations, providing positive and constructive feedback, determining training and development needs, and conducting on-the-job training to ensure relentless execution of the project. May conduct Individual Development Reviews.Enforces the project management plan (PMP) to ensure the activities in the field are consistent with the plans policies and procedures.Prepares and maintains a detailed schedule for specific areas of responsibility.

BA/BS and experience in production/post-production facility
Working with the Color Grading Operations team, the Seasonal Color Grading Assistant will be responsible for organizing projects and rendering completed jobs for the in-house colorists at NFL Films in Mt. Laurel, NJ. In addition, this individual will aid in the day-to-day film scanning workflow and help troubleshoot any DaVinci Resolve issues that arise. This is a temporary position which will run for six months.

Professional experience with DaVinci Resolve 12 or higher
