The Grease Packager is responsible for the filling, packaging, and quality check of the 3w grease in the clean room.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Carry out and complete assigned WebQa/311 work orders, picking up branches, bulky items and/or reports from within the department in the allotted time period.
Maintain constant vigilance of surrounding conditions such as citizens, equipment, property, overhead power lines/wires, etc. in order to assure that operations are conducted in a safe manner.
Manipulate and/or operate a truck mounted knuckle boom grapple loader and other equipment specific to associated division within the department to collect brush and /or bulky materials for disposal at the city landfill. Operate a front and rear loader to cover other routes when needed.
Conduct basic maintenance on equipment including but not limited to lubricating grease points, tightening loose hydraulic hoses, washing, brushing, and cleaning the truck's interior cabin to ensure a clean and professional image.
Respond appropriately to all emergencies and required to be on standby (on call waiting to be engaged to work) when necessary or as requested by management.
Trains/and or assist in the training of employees by relying on previous experience and capability to use the tools and equipment to achieve the objectives of the position, as requested by management.
Assists other personnel in the department whenever necessary in performing unskilled or semiskilled labor such as directing traffic, trimming trees and all other related duties as needed and/or requested by management.
Must follow all rules of telephone and/or hand held radio courtesy in all communications.
Will be required to drive a City vehicle for City business use.

Zm/Cr Floater Operator
GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:
The ZM/CR Floating Operator is respnsible for all of the operating functions listed blow for the Zmill, SKP2, mill and the Grind and Polish lines. Operations of these mills and lines must be understood in total, with the focus of utilizing the equipment to meet all the quality and and productive goals as outlined in our quality system. All functions of these units are to be carried out as described in the work instructions for that unit.
ZMILL ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Check the coil to be ran for proper identification which corresponds to the program.
Load coils onto either the payoff reel or tension reel
Feed the coil through the mill to the opposite tension reel
to know how and whn to insert the work roll into the kill per the rolling schedule
do periodic gauge referencing durning the rolling process
Inspect both the top and bottom face of the strip for rolling defects. Change any rolls, hose wipers, ect. to insure the quality of teh strip
Insert paper into the coil during the last pass
Remove interleaving paper or plastic as required
Remove coil from the tension reel, band and indentify per the work instuction
Operate the crane when working at ZM3, ZM4, and ZM5
SKIN PASS 2 ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Coordinate movement with the crane operator for coil and roll movement
Communication roll necessities with the roll grinding department
Change rolls in the mill box

Check AS-400 foro scheduled coils proper payoff direction and communicate that to the crane operator
Load coils onto teh payoff reel, remove the bands and feed tehb coil to the welder
Remove any damage off the head or tail of the coil
Weld the head of teh new coil to the tail of the existing coil
Monitor the strip while running for proper centering, quality and damage. Notifying the exit operator if there are any abnormalities
Catch interleaving paper breaks and restart the paper
Operate the crane when working at GP2
GP LINE SUPPLEMENTAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Change out rolls as needed
Monitor and dump swarf system as necessary
Coordinate coil and roll movements with the crane operators
Fill the water softner brine tank per work instruction

Raw Stock Operator
Perform various duties to set-up and operate a variety of equipment including Gardner Grinding, various roll straighteners, unreeling and re-reeling equipment, resistance butt welder and electric vacuum annealing furnaces, following standard methods, practices and procedures.
Work from bar code daily plan, work schedules, customer satisfaction assurance system sheets, other written or verbal instructions.
Check coil tags at each operation to assure proper information and coil identity. At each straightening operation, load coil on to pay-off reel and through rolling mill and/or straightener.
Use overhead hoist to place racks of bi- metal coils into floor level annealing. Input required data into programmed controller.
Operation is automatic; furnace cycles and shuts off automatically. Monitor operation by means of temperature recording charts. Use hoist to unload and use Rockwell Tester for hardness checks.
Between loads, check furnace for broken elements, damaged seals, insulation, etc. Observe color and brightness of annealed stock.
Load coils of annealed stock on pay off reel at bi-metal straightener or Roll Mill and Bruderer Line. Thread material through processing equipment including ultrasonic inspection station.
Select proper spacers, guides and rollers and make necessary adjustments to obtain required thickness and/or straightness. When defect shuts off machine, view with microscope and mark with hand or hydraulic punch. Cut out large defects and form new coil as required.
Cut sample strip and use indicators, straight edge to check straightness, bow, twist, etc. Maintain required production records.
Use chopper to dispose of scrap materials. Grease machines and maintain oil levels with proper oils; change oil and filters, tester transducers as required.
Detect and report unsafe or defective equipment or material, unusual situations to the supervisor. Maintain area and equipment in a neat and orderly manner.
Observe and obey all safety rules, regulations and practices.
Perform other similar or related duties as assigned or directed.

The Boiler Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining boilers, chillers, and related equipment. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency policy.
Typical FunctionsConducts regular inspections of facilities to check gauges, turn boilers on/off, set temperatures, and treat water with chemicals. Under the direction of production leadership, the PAO assumes the regular duties of, or temporary replacement duties for, all direct and indirect positions within (700, 800, 900) Production Departments, except for the positions of Setup, Molding Technician, and Lyophilizer Operator. Additionally performs jobs where planned production volume exists and there are no production operators assigned to that specific operation. Will maintain required budgeted throughput rates. PAO's will enter the position as a pay grade five (5) and must demonstrate the needed knowledge, skills, and competency of the jobs within their department to advance to the next pay grade. The jobs required for each department PAO is shown in the table below.Department 700/800 and 900 PAO's must demonstrate the needed knowledge, skills, and competency of seven (7) jobs required for their department within nine (9) months and all jobs within eighteen (18) months. The essential functions of this position include but are not limited to:
Maintains a clean/safe work area and reports any safety hazards to supervision.
Must be capable of performing the essential functions of all relevant production-related job positions within the 700, 800, and 900 areas while serving as a temporary replacement.
Knows and observes all quality and GMP standards at each operation within the assigned department.
Possesses working knowledge of the MRP system as it applies to positions within the assigned department.
Uses current reporting methods for production and waste at all operations.
Performs quality self-inspections, where appropriate, according to latest methods using Vacutainer Specifications for all relevant operations.
Works efficiently and cooperates with supervision and other employees.
Other responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
Complies with all local, state, federal and BD safety regulations, policies/procedures.
Complies with all local BD quality policies/procedures/practices through consistent application of sound Quality Assurance principles.
Performs other job related duties as assigned.
Observes all safety, environmental and quality system standards.

4.0EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
High school diploma or equivalent.
One year PAO or machine operator experience preferred. Diverse machine operating experience being a plus

Medium Work: Exerting 20 to 50 pounds occasionally or 10 to 25 pounds frequently, or up to 10 pounds constantly. Physical demands requirement are in excess of those for Light Work.
Ability to read, write and understand English.
Understanding and ability to operate all relevant production equipment.
The worker is subject to inside environmental conditions: Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
The worker is subject to hazards: Includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to high heat or exposure to chemicals and broken glass.
Reports directly to Department Shift Facilitator. Has no supervision over others.
Pay Progression by Pay Grade and training period limits.
The associate will earn pay grade five (5) while training for the first seven (7) positions in their department. The associate's facilitator will determine the order of the jobs based upon production needs and staffing demands. After a Department 700/800, or 900 PAO completes the required Tests, Learning Outcome Verifications and Sign-Offs for seven (7) jobs required for their department the associate will begin earning pay grade six (6) pay. After a Department 700/800, or 900 PAO completes the required Tests, Learning Outcome Verifications, and Sign-Offs for all of the jobs required for their department, the associate will begin earning pay grade seven (7) pay.
If at any point during the training period it is determined the associate is not progressing, or it becomes evident that he/she is unable to perform the essential functions of the job, the individual will be disqualified from the position. The associate will be reassigned with a preference to their current shift, but may be assigned to an alternate shift depending on staffing needs. The reassigned associate may choose to fill a current opening, which had no signers, with management approval, or may sign current postings.

Primary functions are to safely charge ready mix plants and material (sand and gravel), maintain stockpile areas and to service the loader. Our Redi-Mix customers, the Batchman, and the Mixer Operators are all vital to the Loader Operators performance function and should be considered as the Loader Operator "Customers". This is a temporary position located on base at Red River Army Depot.
Operates loader to transfer material from yard to storage bins
Grease the loader daily
Signs and maintains raw material delivery tickets
Confirm receipt of materials before signing tickets
Performs daily preventative maintenance - tire pressure, oil, grease, diesel fuel, hoses for leaks and all moving parts for proper function
Records daily maintenance activities
Daily pre and post trip inspections are required on the plant and loader
Help maintain all of plant yard area for environmental compliance
Maintain the area around the concrete pans.
Assist in the inventory process
Report any problems to maintenance personnel and manager
Demonstrates good knowledge of lockout/tagout procedure required during certain procedures
Performs preventative maintenance on conveyor belts, which charge plants, and maintains other plant equipment
Assists Batch Plant Operator and Master Maintenance Mechanic with other duties as needed
Cleans area around aggregate charging hoppers, load point and assist in cleaning plant and yard
Prepare and maintain an area for waste concrete to produce good reusable base material.
Demonstrates a good working knowledge of Company Rules and Regulations, and assures facility compliance with OSHA, DOT, TNRCC, EPA, and other regulatory agencies
Assist with training of co-workers as needed
Required to follow all safety policies and procedures, wear PPE and promote a 24/7 Safe Culture
Perform other duties as required by Production Coordinator
Able to cross train in areas not limited to but including batch operators, driving mixer & heavy equipment.
Must be physically capable to climb on and under conveyor belts and work in high places. Will be required to stoop, bend, and lift heavy objects such as shovels full of concrete materials etc. on a respective basis.
Must be able to use hand tools and grease gun to perform all phases of loader maintenance.
Flexible attitude engaged in team goals
Ability to drive long distances to various locations.
Must be willing to cross train throughout plant operations
Six months of experience in operation and maintenance of a front end loader.
Must have class B CDL (Redi - Mix driving experience preferred) Might want to not require CDL for this position and not required to cross train to drive a mixer. Could be just preferred.
Must review and perform the duties listed in "The Loader Operator Work Instructions"
Ability to climb stairs and ladders, reach, squat, tolerate prolonged sitting/standing, balance, bend from trunk, operate mobile equipment, push and pull objects
Lift objects of various dimension and weights
Ability to operate hand controls with both hands
Ability to operate foot controls with both feet
Ability to tolerate working outdoors in all environmental temperatures and weather
Ability to work in cramped quarters
Ability to work in areas with the potential for high noise levels
Ability to tolerate working at heights up to 100 feet
Climb in and out of loader minimum 30 times per day, climb to 10 feet to clean loader, walk on uneven ground minimum 30 times per day up to 100 yards
Climb conveyor system 10 times per day, climb to 200" to clean and maintain
Read delivery tickets, maps, etc.
Use needed solvents to scrub and wash loader daily, climb over and under loader to visually inspect same
Work in confined spaces under hood, and in framework to clean loader as needed
Use hand tools (wrenches, drill, etc.) to make minor repairs
Hear and see problem indicators that warrant attention/repairs
Shoveling, sweeping, picking up trash, painting and general cleanup of plant areas

Machine Operator - Mixer Operator
Our client is on the northwest side of Grand Rapids. Must have 6 months of industrial experience. Must be able to perform heavy lifting tasks throughout the shift. This is a physically demanding job. Positions involve opening bags of ingredients and dumping into machines.
