Skill & Qualification Requirements
5 years experience in a close tolerance manufacturing environment
H/S diploma or equivalent
Minimum of five years experience in gear cutting/grinding operations
Strong knowledge of and experience performing setups including selection of speeds and feeds and making machine adjustments and corrections
Ability to verify part conformity using micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and other gauges
Ability to read and analyze engineering prints
Strong math skills
Experience participating in Kaizen Events focused on process improvements using lean manufacturing techniques
Ability to relate to team members well and ability to communicate clearly and concisely
Ability to multitask while being complete and thorough in following documented procedures

CNC Gear Grinder - 3Rd Shift
Includes the following, other duties may be assigned.
Read machining instructions or set up sheets to determine fixtures and grinding wheel to use, machine settings, gear dimensions and tolerances. Tooling and operating sequence are provided. Install specified change gearing.
Clamp work piece in chuck or fixture, or press it on arbor and mount between centers
Set feed rates and rotation speeds of wheel and work piece in relation to each other.
Operate gear grinding machine; make adjustments as needed. Add a flow of coolant to process to maintain the proper temperature of the work piece. Frequently operate more than one gear grinding machine.
Dress, mount, balance, and change wheels as needed.
Master and perform Nital Etching procedure.
Use micrometers, indicators and various other precision measuring equipment to set up, adjust, and check dimensions.
Assist in analyzing gear grinding machine problems; notify supervisor of any machine or quality problems.
Maintain gear grinding equipment; perform preventive maintenance as needed.
Follow all clean up and housekeeping procedures. Comply with all quality and safety regulations.
Requires one to three years of trades training or equivalent experience and two to four years of related machining experience. Requires the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals, and percent. Requires the ability to operate various equipment to include form grinders, micrometers, indicators, dressing units, diamond discs, and various other precision measuring equipment. Requires a knowledge of gear principles, tooling, material characteristics, machine shop procedures, abrasives and general machining practices. Requires ability to operator a forklift truck and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

The Landing Gear Systems Engineer is responsible for:
Developing landing gear system requirements for brakes, steering, and retract/extend actuation in both hydraulic and electric-actuated architectures
Conducting design and analysis of the landing gear system components and integrating these components into the aircraft with interfacing systems
Managing supplier development and qualification efforts

We are seeking a R&D Mechanical Engineer to perform a wide range of mechanical engineering activities in support of one or more projects, the size and duration of which typically range from individual assignments to ten-person efforts, and from one to three years. Work involves precision fitting and assembly, requiring close tolerances, in end play and back lash, to make smooth operation and proper alignment of bearings and gear surfaces. Must be able to use I.D. and O.D. mikes, height gauges, torque wrenches, and calculate shims for bearings.
Must be knowledgeable in the use of a wide variety of tools and fixtures used in the assembly, qualification, and overhaul of all transmissions, gear boxes, and all the above assemblies and sub assemblies. At times will be required to work with engineering in the assembly and modification of experimental transmissions and test stand transmissions and be able to improvise in the absence of new tooling, may be required to working in test cell changing out sub assemblies, replacing parts for making repairs. Responsible for quality and sign off of transmissions and main rotor components assemblies completed by Gear Box Assemblers for ship installation.

GEAR UP is a federal grant program designed to increase the number of low-income students who are prepared to enter and succeed in postsecondary education. We are looking for experienced tutors who are passionate about helping students learn and prepare for college to join our team.
Tutors will be responsible for delivering targeted tutoring to 6th grade students with the goal of improving students' academic performance in language arts and/or math. The ideal candidates have experience working with children and/or young adults, and display the patience and content knowledge necessary to provide quality math and language arts instruction. Tutors will work with small groups of students, track students' progress, and provide feedback to students, teachers and supervisors.
Tutor Duties and Responsibilities
