Measure parts with gaging equipment to determine if parts are within acceptable quality limits. Read and interpret CMM printouts (Machine Centers Only). In H/T able to perform spline check and surface hardness check and measure phoshate coating thickness and appearance. In SBG able to interpret PNC and CMM printouts.

EssentialResponsibilities: The Lethality Assessment Protocol (LAP) Victim Advocate is a front line advocate, first responder to a victim in need. This requires the ability to work quickly and concisely under extreme pressure. Here are the essential responsibilities of this position:
Provide casework services to clients including:crisis counseling, safety planning, advocacy, information and referrals,emergency financial assistance, and claims filing.
Completeand maintain training certification as NYS DOH Rape Crisis counselor
Accompany victims of crime tohospitals, police departments, and court while providing crisiscounseling, information and referrals, assistance with crime victimscompensation claims, criminal justice advocacy and personal advocacy.
Establish and maintain liaisons withthe local police departments, District Attorney’s office, and othersrelated to pending litigation on behalf of the victim.
Reviewall assigned claims regularly; insure claims are effectively managed
Provideinformation and referrals to all clients in need following the agency’s anddepartment’s protocol
Reportany behavior or implication of behavior of child abuse to the authorities
Evaluate and dispense emergency financialassistance to victims as needed.
Coverincoming calls on the 24 hour Domestic Violence and Rape Crisis/Crime Victimshotlines for a designated period during business hours and after hours
Expandservice reach by researching community organizations and providing communityoutreach through presentations and tabling events
Assist with fundraisers and special events(some of these may be outside agency hours of operation)

The Tool Grinder monitors machine operations to determine whether adjustments are necessary: stop machines when problems occur.
The Tool Grinder job function includes inspecting, feeling, and measure work pieces to ensure that surfaces and dimensions meet specifications. The Tool Grinder sets up and operates grinding or polishing machines to grind metal work pieces such as dies, parts, and tools. The Tool Grinder removes finished work pieces from machines and places them in boxes or on racks; set aside pieces that are defective.
The Tool Grinder files or finishes surfaces of work pieces, using prescribed hand tools.
