Possess the necessary skills to operate a filler along with but not limited to labelers, cappers, palletizer, case erectors, heat induction sealers, etc.
Coordinate with Filling Master Operator line lead to ensure the right product is being ran
Ensure raw materials (corrugate, caps, hot melt, bottles, and labels) are staged on line.
Ensure bottle code is correct
Perform basic troubleshooting on the assigned equipment.
Perform packaging equipment size changeovers on assigned equipment.
Perform start-up / shutdown procedures on assigned packaging equipment
Perform wash down procedures on assigned packaging equipment
Perform finished product and finished case on-the-line quality checks per KIK Manufacturing Quality Standards protocol
Perform clean-up duties throughout the shift and post shift.
Attend required safety meetings and participate in safety related programs when needed.
Perform other duties assigned as required.
Correct safety violations and write work orders.
Be responsible for the safety and housekeeping in the immediate work area.

Experienced Machine Operator/Roll Tender - All Shifts (Otsego & Clearwater)
The Roll Tender is responsible to assure set-up and actual jobs meet quality parameters and are completed on time. This position monitors efficiencies and assure jobs and personnel assigned to them are completing assigned work. The individual best suited for this role will be an individual with the ability to work with limited supervision. They also will have a proficiency with computers and knowledge of product lines.
This position is responsible for the following tasks, duties and responsibilities:
Identifies material and setup work stations.
Places rolls on machines and mounts them on the formers.
Starts rolls into formers and other machines.
Dismounts, fills out and attaches tag to scrap roll and takes rejected rolls to appropriate areas.
Ensures proper labeling of products and tracks roll stock and sheet tickets.
Completes and maintains necessary paperwork for inventory, quality control and recordkeeping.
Education, Experience and Skills Required:
High school diploma or equivalent; previous manufacturing experience with fabrication and set up experience.
Proficiency with computers; ability to work with limited supervision; knowledge of product lines. Forklift experience a plus.

Our client, a financially sound, fast-growing company is looking for a Precision Grinding Machinist to join their team in Rochester, NY as a full-time employee. As a Precision Grinding Machinist, you will set up and operate surface grinding machines with horizontal or vertical spindle and reciprocating or rotating table to grind flat or contoured surfaces of metal workpieces, such as tool, die, and machine parts, usually for limited runs. You will analyze specifications and select tooling according to knowledge of surface grinding procedures. This will involve studying the blueprint or layout on a workpiece to visualize grinding to be done and plan a sequence of operations. 5+ years of CNC Lathe and Surface Grinding experience.

Job OverviewUnder general supervision and guidance from Automation Team Leads, Shift Supervisors, and Technicians the Automation Machine Tender supports the operation of the Automation equipment. The machine tender is responsible to start and stop the equipment and tend to routine equipment alarms and faults. The Automation Machine Tender is very aware of safety procedures and strictly adheres to all safety, manufacturing, Quality and Continuous Improvement policies and procedures. Performs quality assurance analysis during machine operation to prevent defective product from being produced and potentially reach the end user. Start and stop the equipment and tend to routine equipment alarms and faults
Maintain and follow 6S (Workplace Organization Standards).
Follow Standard Operating Procedures, Manufacturing Procedures, and other regulatory requirements at all times.
Work in a fast-paced environment communicating and interacting with automated equipment and other team members during the work period
Produce product that meets quality expectations
General cleaning as needed: Keep equipment clean and free of misc. parts, empty trash, clean work area daily, clean shop equipment, sweep, mop, wipe down area
Perform Water Spider duties and support other water spiders with material handling and work order change overs
Supports the automation technicians to ensure targets for safety, quality and productivity are met or exceeded
Must be a team player with strong communication skills
Works in a team environment with all levels of the organization
Attend daily production meetings and shift hand off meetings to ensure good communication and pass downs
A high level of engagement is expected; this means that Machine Tenders are expected to work on improving themselves by working on training applicable to their position.
Engagement on 7 steps, and improvement events is expected so that the Machine Tender can provide input to implement containment actions and countermeasures to resolve quality, or process issues.
May be asked to perform other tasks as required.
Education- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent is requred.
