You will be responsible to set up and operate NC milling and grinding machines to tight tolerances to perform routine production operations on a variety of similar weldments and assemblies. Tasks may include the following:
Work from operation sheets, part travelers, BOROPS, and oral instruction for setting up equipment for facing, grinding, boring and chamfering operations involving a limited number of surfaces to be machined.
Perform a variation of bench mechanic and / or assembler type operations on jet engine components including development of parts and processes.
Verify conformance of finished work piece to specifications, using precision measuring instruments.
Flexible around shifts, including overtime, for training and to maintain workflow.
Handle multiple challenging priorities at a time.
You may be assigned to carry out tasks not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this job description in support of department objectives.
1 – 3 + years of related experience, or a completed degree/certificate from a post-secondary or vocational school in a related field with 0-1+years related experience
High School or General Equivalency Diploma
Experience with grinding and machining
Experience with computerized/CNC machine operation

Experience using production gauges to check work including snap, radius and flush pin gauges
Experience working from drawings and operation sheets that involve computations with fractions and decimals

Tube Mill Operator
The incumbent is responsible for a variety of straightforward, routine duties in the assigned department or work area related to the manufacture and assembly of product. The incumbent participates in the company's quality initiatives including, but not limited to: TS/ISO certification and maintenance of quality systems in place. The incumbent participates in the company's safety programs by ensuring a safe and clean working environment, timely reporting of any safety violations, timely reporting of any workplace incidents or injuries, and effective housekeeping.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform as a team member in the operation, which requires the ability to learn different types of machines and able to rotate within the area.

Bulk Plant Operator - Mill Hall, PA
The Bulk Plant Operator will be responsible for operations in the blending and loading cement, chemicals (Frac or Bulk), and/or acid needed to perform each Pumping Services job.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Responsible for carrying out the daily operations and activities in the Bulk Plant
Review job proposals or call sheets from Coordinators to understand nature of job, volumes required, and to prepare for blend.
Calculates, pours, measures, and weighs chemicals/cement/acid blends.
Responsibility to live and model the Crew Resource Management culture
Monitor pneumatic pressure of tanks and control values to increase/decrease flow of materials from one tank to the next during blending and loading processes.
Participates in loading blended cement/chemicals/acid to Bulk or Acid trucks for transport to customer site; retaining a field sample of blended cement or acid for back up or testing purposes.
Load and unload orders from suppliers through use of pallet jacks and forklifts.
Perform maintenance and repairs on Bulk Plant equipment (blowers, Bulk equipment, forklifts, etc).
Assists with driving Bulk Trucks and Acid Transports to load cement and acid as needed.
Tracks and maintains inventory of chemicals, cement and acid.
Ensures complete and accurate paperwork and records are submitted and maintained (i.e. shipping papers, inventory levels, freight, blend/load documentation, etc).
Maintains and promotes BJ Services Safety Standards at all times: shop, yard, location and while traveling.
Reports all hazards or potentially hazardous situations, accidents, incidents and injuries immediately to supervisor.
Attends weekly Safety Meetings.
Review, understand and implement operational (OS), and technical standards including other company requirements for each task performed.
To use the assertive statement to a supervisor (including stop work authority) when a concern, or know of a better solution presents itself.

Responsible for operating and maintaining milling equipment, graders in the
mill, and hammermill operations as assigned.
Responsible for complying with all safety rules, procedures, and good
manufacturing practices set forth by the company and the government.
Must perform a variety of sanitation duties daily.
Must assist Shift Miller and/or other Mill Equipment Operators with any other mill
activity as needed.
Posiition requires knowledge of, or the ability to, learn inventory software.

This role inspects all machines in their respective areas (Shellers or VTAs) on shelling area, including paddy machines/precision graders. Reports to the Miller or Production Supervisor any problems with machinery or operating efficiencies.
- Keep good Sheller Rolls on all shellers.
- Check each machine for shelling efficiency hourly.
- Check each paddy machines for any mechanical problems.
- Report any machinery involved with shelling system to supervisor.
- Report any problems with any machine/elevators or screw conveyors.
- Adjust speed of shellers as production requires. Maintain proper flow of product.
- Inform Miller or Production Supervisor of any Bin changes for documentation purposes.
- Must be assertive and self-motivated.
- Must be able to work overtime and on weekends as required.
- Keep Milling Equipment (VTAs and KB40s) in good condition in order to obtain required quality and production throughput.
- Check product for brokens content and check temperature on all 3 breaks twice per shift.

- Maintain proper flow to each milling break in order to have consistent flow through between each system.
- Assist in keeping work area clean.

Position Summary: Process material through the bonding mill by following defined processes for the manufacture of multi-layer clad materials.
Perform set-up of the mill and cleaning of the line.
Identify and correct areas of deficiency prior to the start up of the mill and while running.
Process material through the bonding mill by following defined processes and procedures.
Check material in accordance with process sheet and assure thickness tolerance and surface quality of the material meets specified requirements.

Unload OCC from trucks and complete all associated paper work involved for materials coming into the warehouse.
Operate a grab truck to unload, store, retrieve, and cut wires from bales and place bales on chain conveyor to feed Pulper.

Have working knowledge in the selection of the appropriate mix of various types of OCC bales to the Pulper.
