Hautau Groover Operator (2Nd Shift)

Woodsage LLC is a growing manufacturer of fabricated steel tube products. This position would be based out of our location in Holland, OH. The hours for 2nd shift are 3:30pm - 12:00am.
Hautau Groover Operator
The Hautau Groover Operator is responsibilities include, but may not be limited to,
Understand the safety features of the machines and ensure machines are operating without compromise to those safety systems.
Responsible for the setup of Hautau Groover machine
Ability to read a ruler and use micrometers and calipers
Must be able to perform accurate mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply and divide) and work with fractions and decimals.
Must have mechanical knowledge and understand machine functions and process capabilities.
Ability to bend and lift repetitively and quickly
Ability to recognize quality issues
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Industrial and manufacturing experience
Experience operating a machine in a manufacturing environment
A work history of compliance to safety, quality, and productivity standards.
A work history that supports a good to excellent attendance record.
Strong mechanical abilities
Fast learner and able to adapt in a fast-paced environment
Detail oriented approach to daily work activities
Able to work well in a team-oriented work environment.
Must have safety toed boots
Positive attitude, willingness to learn
At least 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong mechanical abilities and able to perform mathematical calculations
Ability to read, interpret and understand Work Orders.

We have an immediate need for a Concrete Foreman in the Portland Area.
Responsible for overseeing each production job to completion, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency. Leads production employees on his/her crew. Supports the companys management, purpose, mission, and values
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
Smooth out, level and finish freshly poured concrete at residential construction sites
Smooth out concrete in segments to ensure the concrete poured is level
Help set forms
Rub concrete with sponge-rubber float or burlap
Level using special blades, ensuring all lumps and bubbles are smoothed over
Use wood or plastic forms to shape the concrete and hold it until it is set
Smooth high spots and fill depressions
Wash away excess concrete
Finish corners by hand
Use machines that vibrate concrete to fill air pockets
Use groovers and hand trowels to spread concrete
Excavate and prepare the base
Install masonry according to specifications
Use chemical additives to speed up drying process if necessary
Measure, cut, or shape wood, plastic, and other materials
Adhere to safety policies and procedures
Assist on other company projects, not solely related to concrete
NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS ABILITIES AND OTHER CHARACTERISTICS
Ability to maintain 50-hour work week during busy seasons
Physical ability to lift and exert force frequently
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
Regular and punctual attendance
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED Preferred;
1-2 years of concrete and construction experience is helpful but not necessary
A combination of education and experience that illustrates a proven track record in this field.
Valid drivers license and clean driving record
