WHAT WE OFFER
The County of Ventura offers an attractive compensation and benefits package. Aside from our salary of approximately $97,082.78 – $135,929.22 annually an employee within this position will also be eligible for the following:

The primary goal of the Resource Management Agency is to protect the health, safety and welfare of the general public through administration and enforcement of County ordinances, Board policy, and state and federal laws regarding land use, and commercial and environmental regulation.
The Agency includes five (5) divisions including the Planning Division. The Planning Division provides land use services to the public in areas of residential, commercial and industrial permitting, engages in long range community planning and zoning enforcement, and coordinates a variety of regional programs in the unincorporated areas of Ventura County.
Under general direction, this Planning Manager position manages the activities of the Commercial and Industrial Permit Section within the Planning Division of the Resource Management Agency (RMA); and serves as a member of the Agency's management team.
The ideal candidate will be a highly-motivated individual with expertise in planning principles and practice, exceptional communication skills, and proven success managing, mentoring, and motivating professional staff. Additionally, the successful candidate will have demonstrated ability implementing Zoning Ordinance regulations, General Plan policies, and the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). Individuals who are certified by the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) and hold a Master's degree in Urban Planning, or a related field from an accredited university are highly desired.
Manager Resource Management Agency Services II – Planning
- RMA Services II-Planning: $3,733.95 - $5,228.05 Biweekly
Incumbents may be eligible for an educational incentive of 2.5%, 3.5%, or 5% based on completion of an Associate's, Bachelor's, or Master's degree that is not required for the classification. Incumbents may also be eligible for bilingual incentive depending upon operational need and certification of skill.

Manager RMA Services II-Planning is a Management classification and is not eligible for overtime compensation. Incumbents in this classification are eligible for benefits at the MB3 level. Examples Of Duties
Duties may include, but are not limited to the following:
Manages the section's daily activities; supervises, hires, trains, counsels, and evaluates assigned staff; and recommends or imposes management or disciplinary action.
Administers, reviews, and evaluates the day-to activities of the Planning Division – Commercial and Industrial Section (e.g.: Conditional Use Permits, Planned Development Permits, etc.)
Provide management-level expertise, input, and decision-making for projects and permits subject to the Surface Mining and Reclamation Act (SMARA).

EDUCATION, TRAINING, and EXPERIENCE:
Extensive experience which has led to the acquisition of the required knowledge, skills and abilities. The required knowledge, skills and abilities may be obtained by extensive journey level experience in land use planning coupled with training, education and/or additional experience which has led to possession and competency in supervisory and management practices. An example of extensive experience can be obtained by nine (9) years' increasingly responsible experience performing varied and complex permit planning work including permits subject to the Surface Mining and Reclamation Act (SMARA). Bachelor's in urban or Regional Planning or a related field may substitute for four (4) years of experience.
Necessary Special Requirements:
Independent travel is required; therefore, possession of a valid California driver license is required.
Experience implementing state or local regulations that pertain to the extraction of natural resources (e.g., surface mining, oil and gas production);
Two (2) or more years of supervisory or management experience leading a team of professional planning staff.
Experience working with elected and appointed public officials and bodies, other public agencies and community groups.
Master's Degree in Urban or Regional Planning, or a related field.
Three (3) or more years of management experience leading a team of professional planning staff.
Two (2) years' experience in the preparation of environmental impact reports pursuant to CEQA.

Our team is looking for an experienced and high-performing commercial banker to join our team. You will be responsible for business development of new commercial and industrial ("C&I") lending and depository clients and effective portfolio management of all C&I clients.
The ideal candidate will be able to appropriately identify, evaluate (with the assistance of the Credit Underwriting team), and authorize/recommend approval or denial of C&I lending opportunities. This will be done by developing an appropriate level of communication with clients and internal team members to better understand and mitigate any issues the client may face.
Generate new C&I loan and deposit relationships for the Bank in the type and manner outlined in the Bank's Strategic Plan, including developing relationships extending beyond the initial loan/deposit request.
Provide excellent customer service to existing clients to promote client retention and portfolio growth.
Achieve performance goals through proactive growth and retention of quality clients with a focus on driving overall profitability to meet bank targets.
Analyze credit data and financial statements to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money.
Analyze trends in both the income statement and balance sheet, while following guidelines established by the Bank. Have a firm understanding of cash flow. Analyze various financial ratios (liquidity, activity, leverage, etc.) against industry benchmarks.
Monitor or coordinate monitoring of existing loans through the ongoing review of updated financial statements, customer and community interfacing, and review of internal reports.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintains 30 times monthly budget in phase 1pipeline, 20 times monthly budget in Phase 2 and 5 times monthly budget in Phase 3. These pipelines should be cleaned and updated each week inside of Ricoh's CRM tool.

Account Executive – Chicago/Minneapolis
The position of Account Executive for Building Performance and Sustainability will be part of the Smart Infrastructure of Siemens which will identify client needs and develop sales strategies to meet objectives and develop solutions to help clients improve and operate their facilities. This role will manage and grow the business in the Midwest Zone providing energy, efficiency and optimization for our market segments with a focus on Distributed Energy Systems (e.g. Solar, Combined Heat & Power, Energy Storage, Microgrids, etc). The Account Executive will be responsible for delivering leading edge integrated solutions, offering energy as a service, including consultation, solution design, implementation, O&M, optimization and financing.
Under limited supervision manages and grows the Midwest Zone in the Distributed Energy Systems market
Follow industry trends, regulatory/incentive developments, competitor activities, power & gas pricing and structured financing transactions in the assigned region.
Develops an overall go-to-market approach for the assigned region by cultivating industry trends, voice-of-the-customer and other market-based intelligence.
Early identification and qualification of sales leads with cross-divisional sales teams (develop sales funnel).
Maintain Executive, C-level relationships and proficiency in complex value-selling solutions and services at this corporate level.
Co-manage customer communication and opportunity management with Field sales.
Develops and implements account plans to take advantage of all sales opportunities for assigned customers.
Team-sells with other salespeople as appropriate.
Manages the most sophisticated deals independently within established guidelines.
Consultatively assists targeted clients in understanding long-term financial business goals, uncovering challenges and defining long-term self-funding solutions.

Work closely with solutions sales team and network of internal and external product or service line providers to design integrated energy solutions, and develop compelling business and technical presentations

Works with operations, finance, legal and other inside and outside resources as needed to obtain client commitment.

Skills and knowledge within a combination of integrated solutions, energy services and renewable energy technologies including building automation, lighting, HVAC, biomass, geothermal, solar, wind and energy storage
A strong understanding of debt financing and capital markets, including funding for decentralized energy, ESCO's, O&M and concession-based infrastructure projects
Develops and maintains subject matter expertise in CHP, Distributed Generation, biofuels and renewables.
Five to ten years of executive consultative selling experience providing complex solutions in energy services, capital equipment or financial transactions that underwrite construction (e.g. underwriting bonds) or other complex solution sales to executive decision-makers in the geography in which this role will sell.
Position will have annual sales targets with senior-level responsibility for meeting business objectives.
Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or other field relevant to our business. Masters in Business Administration or Finance a plus.
Requires related technical and financial expertise with an aptitude to learn and competently use contractual and financial concepts.
Ability to plan, navigate and negotiate a complex sales process.
Track record of new business development.
Experience with energy/utility industry and rates a plus.
Experience with Project and Energy Finance is a plus.
Strong understanding of customer business & drivers.
Excellent leadership, verbal and written communication skills.
Responsible, result-oriented individual needed who is able to work at times without supervision and who can prioritize tasks and interact positively with the public. Duties focus on managing the daily operation and maintenance of park facilities, grounds, and equipment. . A large portion of the work includes maintenance duties for the facilities, vehicles/equipment, and landscaping. Other tasks may include painting, mowing, trail work, and assisting with resource management projects.
Previous operation of commercial mowers, chainsaws, or tractors desirable.
Knowledge of carpentry and vehicle repair and maintenance is preferred.
Must be willing to work weekends and evenings. Required uniform will be provided.
There are no health benefits or paid vacation leave associated with the job. Employees are limited to working no more than 1500 hours in 12 months from May 1 to April 30. Position does not include benefits.
Relationship Manager - Commercial And Industrial Lender
The position of Relationship Manager is responsible for identifying a target market for new business and subsequently develop and establish a book of new business from those relationships. The position is responsible for the negotiating, underwriting and coordinating the closing of a variety of major and complex corporate banking loans in compliance with the Bank's lending policies and procedures; develops business checking and deposit relationships with customers.
Assures compliance with all Bank policies and procedures, as well as, all applicable state and federal banking regulations
Compiles and analyzes market research data to develop recommendations regarding products and services focused on needs of target market.
Engages in business development activities and solicitation of new business based on the target market.
Calls and visits target customers to promote and sell Bank products and services to establish a new book of business.
Develops and maintains customer data base including calls and results on all new business relationships. Makes reports to superiors as required.
Interviews prospective applicants and requests specified information related to loan or credit application; corresponds or re-interviews applicants to resolve questions regarding application information.
Performs basic pre-qualification assessment and analysis of financial condition and risk of financing requests within framework of Bank credit culture and current economic and industry trends.
Gathers all information necessary to present a financing request to senior management or Loan Committee for approval; meets with new/potential customers; visiting sites of loans; negotiates loan terms and conditions; refers and recommends acceptance to the Chief Credit Officer or Loan Committee.
Coordinates processing of approved loans; ensures loans are processed according to agreement, customer needs and conform to Bank lending policies; obtains sufficient information and/or documentation from customers; solves problems relative to processing and servicing of loans within the Relationship Manager's portfolio.
Maintains a superior knowledge of financial industry status and trends.
Recommends to senior management those products and services experiencing less than satisfactory performance.
Represents the Bank in various community, civic, and community reinvestment functions to further enhance the Bank's image and develop additional business; assists the Bank in establishing and maintaining market position in the financing arena.
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and five (5) or more years of related experience and/or training; or a combination of experience and education.
Work related experience must consist of a basic lending background including negotiating, underwriting and coordinating the closing of a variety of major and complex consumer, residential, equipment, SBA, commercial building and business loans; relationship development, experience in the financial services industry.
Educational experience, through in-house training sessions, formal school or financial industry related curriculum, should be business or financial industry related.
Knowledge of related state and federal banking compliance regulations, and other Bank operational policies.
Knowledge and experience in financial statement and tax return analysis typically resulting from a combination of education in accounting, financial and/or credit analysis or related areas.
Intermediate knowledge of Bank lending procedures, Bank policies and procedures, and the Bank's products and services.
