Customer Service positions Maverik store locations are responsible for providing prompt, efficient, effective, and courteous quality service to the customer as well as maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the store.
This responsibility is for both food service and operations. This includes preparing food products according to Maverik standards, stocking food display items, and filling and maintaining all self-serve offerings. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate POS (cash register and gas console) precisely and accurately handle money, checks, and other types of payment received for product sold
Preparing food product assortment and stocking food display items
Maintaining self-serve offerings (including, but not limited to the coffee dispensers, fountain machine and condiment center)
Maintaining customer service areas in a clean, inviting, hygienic condition
Provide prompt and courteous customer service
Perform the following service transactions in accordance with company policy: credit card transactions, food stamp acceptance, manufacturer coupon redemption, personal check acceptance, vendor check-in, alcohol and tobacco sales, and fast food sales
Actively participate in all sales promotions and other campaigns
Practice suggestive selling and build customer relations
Be aware of sales goals and performance against those goals.
Review and adhere to all city, county, state, and federal laws affecting store operations
At all times maintain a neat personal appearance and wear company uniform and nametag
Address customer complaints in a positive manner
Document complaints for follow up by Store leadership team
Ensure that the store is free of litter and spills and that all equipment is sanitized and free of dirt, as well as ensuring that all equipment is in working condition
Maintain a neat and clean store inside and out
Straighten and organize backroom supplies and equipment as needed
Face front and dust merchandise
Receive product deliveries from vendors: move, sort, and stack cases. Stock shelves with new merchandise
Conduct daily inspections of perishable products to check code dates (freshness) and proper rotation
Check identification for alcohol and tobacco products according to company policy
Follow company policy on robbery/violence prevention and safety
Review and adhere to store safety/emergency procedures – critical telephone numbers and incident reporting forms and protocol
Perform regular cleaning of counter surfaces, store equipment, restrooms and other duties as assigned by Store Director
Participate in all store sales building, customer service, and team-building activities

The Selling Guide Resource (SGR) team is an inbound call service center that responds to Selling Guide inquiries coming into the 888-Fannie8 Hotline to ensure that callers have a better understanding of Fannie Mae's guidelines in order to originate credit quality mortgages. The specialists that service the Hotline are Subject Matter Experts (SME) responsible for providing general guidance to approved Fannie Mae lenders in relation to the Selling Guide for inquiries coming into the 888-Fannie8 Hotline, and/or their direct email inbox or phone line when performing the Research Analyst (RA) functions tied to this role.
KEY JOB FUNCTIONS
Function as a National resource that provides timely assistance, primarily by phone, and support for inquiries pertaining to information within Fannie Mae's Selling Guide to both external and internal Fannie Mae customers.
Maintain a robust, high-quality level of Seibel data entry information in order to consistently and adequately supply trending information gathered in relation to calls received (i.e., product-related, customer segments, potential business opportunities gained or lost, training needs, usage of/possible needs for variances, potential QC issues, other red flags or lenders concerns, etc.) for reporting out to various customer-facing, cross-functional areas within Fannie Mae.
Stay abreast of and well versed on all Guide/Product changes (e.g. Announcements, Lender Letters, Publications, etc.).
On a rotational basis, function as the SGR team's Research Analyst (RA): Review volume of calls and subject matter gathered from Siebel reports for sharing trends identified; research/elevate, as applicable, any unique or complex issues that arise to the appropriate area(s) for resolution (ie. Manager, Credit Policy and Controls, Product Development, etc.)
Review and provide feedback on Product and DU enhancements (Draft and/or Final version) to applicable Fannie Mae functional areas.
Maintain an acceptable response time (inbound calls and voicemails) that allows us to address as many inquiries as possible resulting in a minimal abandon rate percentage and potential lost opportunities to educate customers.
Create and distribute Internal and External customer service related surveys to monitor the level of quality, satisfaction and success of the services provided by way of the SGR team as a means to identify any area(s): process improvement, success to be continued and/or enhanced and reduction of potential missed opportunities

You must include transcripts.
Successful completion of a combination of education and experience as described above. NOTE: Only education in excess of the first 60 semester hours of a course of study leading to a bachelor's degree is creditable toward meeting the specialized experience requirements. Two full academic years of study, or 60 semester hours, beyond the second year is equivalent to l year of specialized experience. For example, 6 months of the specialized experience described in A above (50% of the experience requirement), and 3 years of college study from an accredited institution (50% of the qualifying education) which included at least 12 semester hours of related coursework as specified in B above (50% of the related coursework required). The total must equal at least 100 percent to qualify. You must include transcripts.
Volunteer Experience: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Publish and maintain an Interoperability Process Guide (IPG), for use by Program Management Offices/Sponsors, outlining procedures required to support joint, multinational, and interagency interoperability test and certification, ICTO requests, and waiver submissions.
Coordinate with the DoD Components to resolve joint, multinational, or interagency IT Interoperability issues. If resolution cannot be achieved, providean impact statement and recommendations for resolution to the DoDInteroperability Steering Group (ISG).
Assess compliance with bilateral and multilateral standardization agreements (e.g., U.S.-ratified North Atlantic Treaty Organization Standardization Agreements).
Provide, in support of developmental test and evaluation (DT&E) assessments and operational test readiness reviews, for all DoD IT with joint, multinational, or interagency interoperability requirements:
Status of IT interoperability and standards conformance issues.
Confirmation that all required developmental testing (DT) relating to ITinteroperability has been successfully completed and passed.
Details of any interoperability issues that must be resolved before the startof operational test and evaluation (OT&E).
Define the methodology to test, evaluate and certify enterprise services for interoperability within the DoD
Designate representatives to take part in applicable working groups, decision boards, or integrated process teams involved in setting or defining interoperability criteria that any enterprise service must meet before fielding.
Lead the U.S. Coalition Interoperability Assurance and Validation effort in support of Combatant Commands to assess and resolve interoperability issues with mission partners
Ensure efforts comply withspecific DoD, Joint Staff, DISA, and JITC interoperability policies andprocedures.
Thecandidate will be responsible for researching, coordinating, drafting, editing,maintaining, and publishing the Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) Test,Evaluation, and Certification guides and instructions. The candidate will ensureJITC guides and instructions align with Department of Defense (DoD) policiesand instructions. The candidate will coordinate peer reviews, compile inputs,adjudicate comments, and provide these to the customer for review and approval.As DoD policy and JITC guidance changes, the candidate will ensure these arereflected within the JITC guides and instructions and provide edits to thecustomer for review and approval. The candidate will staff and track a documentreview from initiation through its completion and be ready to provide its reviewstatus to the customer. The candidate will track and record user feedback andreview for potential changes to policy guides and instructions.
Education and Experience:
Requires a Master's degree and at least 8 years of experience or a Bachelor's degree with at least 10 years of experience. One year of experience can be substituted by 15 semester hours completed towards a Master's degree.The degree must be in a relevant technical curriculum and experience must be related to the job duties.
Requires at least 1 certification in area of specialization.
Additional certifications in the area of specialization may be substituted for 1 year of experience.
Acceptable degree specialties include but are not limited to the following: Information Technology, Mathematics, Computer Networking, Cybersecurity, and various engineering and science disciplines.
Related certifications in the area of specialization may be substituted for 1 year of experience. Examples of relevant Government or industry training include, but are not limited to, DAWIA Test and Evaluation Level 1/2/3 certification, SPRDE Level 1/2/3 certifications, CTEP certification, and applicable United States Federal or DoD school training and certification on a specific system, network, or technology.

This position will require a security clearance at the Secret level or higher.
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require filing, typing, and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, included but not limited to: bending, reaching, turning and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distances may be required.
An inside and outside environment (considerations: closed quarters, close together, lighting). Needs to be able to work well with co-workers and all levels of management. No hazards on job or unusual environmental conditions.
Equipment and Machines
Ability to operate office equipment such as a personal computer, printer, copy machine, telephone, fax machine and other equipment including desk supplies and other work related tools as required.
Core work hours will be between 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Monday - Friday. Regular attendance of scheduled hours is extremely important, but not critical, except for deadlines and meetings. Punctuality and regular attendance are necessary to meet deadlines. Must exhibit flexibility of work hours to adjust to surge situations based on critical mission requirements.
Other Essential Functions
Must demonstrate professional behavior at all times when dealing with customers, management and co-workers. Must have clear, concise and accurate communications skills in English, both verbal and written. Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk to employees or others. Must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a professional manner. Independent personal transportation to office or work site is required. Travel to and from customer's locations and the test fields may be required to support projects. This may involve airline travel. In some cases, accommodations can possibly be made for POV, if necessary. When operating any vehicle for work purposes, must wear seat belt and in addition, no cellular devices are to be used when vehicle is in motion.
