PURPOSE OF JOB:
The Montessori Teacher is a guide who helps direct his/her students' activities academically, emotionally, and physically in a prepared Montessori environment that challenges each child to reach his/her full potential in these developmental areas, in accordance with Montessori philosophy and procedures in a public school setting.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1.Develops lesson plans and manages the learning experiences for students to ensure
the needs of the groups and individual students are met.
2.Assists students toward self-directed learning and normalization.
3.Maintains a neat, well-organized, and attractive prepared environment consistent with Montessori pedagogy.
4.Work collaboratively with the Montessori Assistant around daily routines including snack preparation. Provide Montessori lessons to students.
5.Collect data to track student performance.
6.Counsels pupils when adjustment and academic problems arise.
7.Discuss pupils' academic and behavioral attitudes and achievements with parents.
8.Participate on program planning committees, and parent involvement activities.
9.Instruct children in practice of personal cleanliness and self-care.
10. Engage children in alternate periods of strenuous activity with periods of rest and light activity to avoid overstimulation and fatigue of students.
11. Plan individual and group activities to stimulate growth in language, social, and motor skills such as learning to listen to instructions, playing with others and using play equipment.
12. Help children develop habits of caring for their materials as well as classroom materials.
13. Attend various meetings including, but not limited to: parent conferences, orientation, Professional Development sessions, and in service training sessions.
Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from four-year college or university.
Missouri State Certification in Elementary Education.
Montessori endorsement (an AMI or AMS Diploma) is required.

Machinist - 3Rd Shift - Guide Value Stream
Responsible for the operation of multiple machines within the Punching Division's- GAC Department.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operates machines according to the following process:
- Inspect and set up machines manually or using small hand tools
- Inspect and change fixtures as necessary
- Place piece/part into fixture/machine
- Set dials, switches and programs to begin process
- Monitor machine and make preparations for next piece/part
- Remove part from machine when done and inspect part for errors
- Repeat above steps until job is finished, or on another machine
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
- Diploma or AAS degree in the machine trades
- G/M Code, CAD/CAM, Machinist Math, GD&T, Inspection methods
- Minimum of two years of relevant machining experience
- Strong mechanical and technical abilities/experience
- Demonstrated success using technical math skills such as Algebra, Geometry, and Trigonometry in practical applications
- Ability to edit programs and set up multiple styles of machines, along with an understanding of G&M Codes
- Be willing to freely move amongst all cell machines as workload demands
- Be able to read technical data such as blueprints and routings

Base Camp Guide - Part Time, On-Call
We're seeking part-time, on-call Guides to lead groups of youth and/or adults on a variety of activities (initiative games, climbing wall, archery range, team building, etc.). With training and the help of Base Camp leadership, the Guides provide each group with a valuable and unique Base Camp experience. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience leading groups of youth and adults.
Training will be provided. If needed, this job can be tailored as an internship.
o Preference is for candidates who have experience working directly with youth, such as working in the classroom, outdoor recreation sites, summer youth camp, or other experience working with youth.

We also need guides who can work variable hours evenings and weekends. The number of hours worked varies from week to week, depending on programming and staff availability. Staff are required to keep their availability up to date at least 3 weeks in advance, using an online calendar. Staff are scheduled around their conflicts at least 10 days in advance of the event.
