The RH Cushion Sewer will operate sewing machines to sew and match fabric cushions by performing the following duties.
Places correct spool of thread on spindle and prepares machine. Places correct bobbin in machine and prepares eye.
Use pedal to control the sewing machine.

This is routine work in a variety of environments ranging from manual labor to semi-skilled work.
An employee in one of the above classes performs manual laboring tasks that may require skill in the use of small hand or power tools or operation of less complex types of power equipment.

Minimum Class Requirements

Water And Sewer Field Operations Manager
An employee in this class ensures regulatory compliance of the water distribution system, sanitary sewer collections system, and municipal separate storm sewer system (MS), and oversees regulatory reporting for water, wastewater and stormwater operations. The employee ensures division staff are trained in safe work practices as identified by OSHA guidelines. Emphasis of the work is on monitoring, assessing, and influencing potential legislative and regulatory changes, ensuring compliance with associated regulatory permits, responding to customer inquiries and complaints, and recommending programmatic changes necessary to meet identified needs. The employee is responsible for operating the programs within an approved budget and for recommending budget deviations. General Supervisor (Water & Sewer Services)
The City of Johnson City, Tennessee is accepting online applications for a General Supervisor in the Water & Sewer Services department. Ability to operate lock stitch, chain stitch, serging and tape edge machines.
Ability to use calculators, scanners, and scissors.
Ability to read and understand SOP's
Able to manipulate large, bulky material; perform with finger dexterity and hand/eye coordination.
Able to lift 20 lbs. frequently, and up to 50 lbs. occasionally; perform repetitive bending/twisting motions.
Reach, stand, walk, sit, push, pull, and grasp materials and tools
Able to stand 8 hours or more per shift. Occasional overtime may be required, to support business needs.
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to material handling equipment, moderate noise and the use of protective eye equipment
About the Team
We are looking for a bright, kind and goal-oriented Industrial Sewer to help us grow our first Manufacturing facility. We currently have a small and highly skilled team of clothing manufacturing professionals in Mohnton, PA and are looking to add an experienced Sewer to the team.. Our beautiful mills were built in the 1800's and have been used to create clothing ever since. Our standards are high and we are proud of the contribution our factory makes to the company and our Clients. While we take our work seriously, we don't take ourselves seriously. We are focused on achieving our goals but like to have fun while doing it.
About The Role
As an Industrial Sewer, you will be responsible for sewing patterns for clothing in our Stitch Fix men's and women's private label brands. T Our fabric is made in the Shillington location by our knitting team, cut in Mohnton, and finished by you and the rest of the sewing team. This is an exciting opportunity which enables Stitch Fix to manufacture specialty garments in the USA and with the close proximity of our Manufacturing facility to our largest warehouse, we are able to get out products into the hands of our clients faster. The need for this role is currently part-time but may have the opportunity to grow into a full-time role as the business scales.

You have 2 years of industrial sewing experience working with various types of sewing machines and equipment that take a garment from the pattern stage to a complete garment.
You are well versed in working with various fabric blends and garment types, and understand garment construction and different sewing practices.

You welcome high-quality feedback and see it as crucial to being your best self.
You get excited about meeting goals and metrics, tracking and recording production and hourly ratios.

You are able to work and communicate with peers to identify and communicate a process for garment creation and make suggestions and adjustments as needed.
You are energized by being in the action -- you'll be on your feet 8-10 hours a day, walking, bending and lifting up to 50 pounds that keep your body in constant motion.
You have a high school diploma or equivalent.
You are at least 18 years old.
