Assemble and build high voltage solid dielectric switches and control panels, utilizing standardized tools and equipment.
Ability to perform point to point wiring on control panels. Assemble devices on pre-drilled/tapped stainless steel panels
using drawings and schematics.
Prepare wire terminations utilizing soldering and/or crimping techniques for terminal device terminations.
Relay any discrepancies/non-conformance related issues to the responsible individual.
Complete all documentation and follow specific work instructions as required.
Must be able to work in a team environment while interfacing with team members that include product/manufacturing
engineering and other internal/external customers.
Assist in training other associates as required.
Must be willing to learn new processes and procedures.
Maintain and sustain 5S processes and safety practices, including the use of PPEs as required.
Handle hazardous waste form work area to accumulation site.

Electronics Assembler I
- Solder electronic components
- Perform prototype assembly per drawings and specifications.
- Perform production assembly, testing, and inspection.
- Perform board level programming and testing using automated test fixtures.
- Maintain material inventory with proper paperwork and electronic records per established AS9100 procedures.
- Perform kitting of production projects.
- Work with Purchasing and Quality Assurance groups in ensuring timely and quality work product.
- Work with local suppliers and vendors both remotely and on-site to coordinate orders and validate workmanship and part conformance.
- Provide training in soldering best practices for other employees as required.
- Also open to Electronics Assembler II level candidates.

- Experience with printed circuit board assembly and testing, electrical harness production, ESD control, and handling optical components are a plus.

Responsibilities and Qualifications
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION

Standing and moving for about 90% of the time.
Reaching, handling, fingering and manual dexterity to assemble and inspect. Frequent lifting, moving, pushing and pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Near vision for detecting quality defects and far vision for operations of fork lift or other mobile equipment.
Must have normal color vision and normal depth perception capability. Climbing, stooping, bending and kneeling on a daily basis.
High level of mental attentiveness for safety and to manipulate and visually inspect small parts.
Reading and basic math comprehension to understand and interpret training guides, standard operating procedures and quality information (charts, graphs, etc.) and to complete production reports. Interpersonal communication skills to facilitate problem-solving and to function effectively as part of a work team. Flexibility to move between jobs and to handle many tasks simultaneously.
Equipment Used: Operation of hand tools, forklift and other mobile equipment.
Working Environment: Manufacturing floor environment is subject to exposure to noise, vibration, summer heat, moving objects and mechanical equipment hazards.
Exposure to a wide variety of chemicals possible depending on assigned area. Work is often done with and around others as part of work teams and back-up from co-workers or supervisor is generally available.

Electronics Assembler Supervisor/Assembler III
Employees will rotate between positions in the following areas within the Auto Assembly department, LEF Switch Assembly, Close and Connect, Back Build, Rotor Assembly and Bodies. Rotations will occur approximately every 2 hours in most positions
Employees will do some material handling when assembling units and stocking up work centers. Calling for technical assistance and working through change overs is part of each employee's responsibility.
Employees are required to do their own housekeeping and report concerns regarding work conditions. Operators will work safely to maintain established quality and productivity levels.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Connect overloads, switches and fiber shields to LEF's and send in totes to assembly line.
Connect wires from switch and overload to stator, join LEF sub-assemblies to stators, place on pallets and release to next operation.
Assemble required parts to the rotor assembly and send rotor/UEF sub-assemblies in totes to assembly line.
Attach centrifugal switch to rotor/UEF sub assembly, insert into stator sub assembly and send pallet to next operation
Place body and thru-bolts on the UEF /stator sub-assembly and release to the next operation
Segregate non-conforming materials appropriately according to work instructions.
Complete all required testing, paperwork, quality records, documents, etc.
Comply with all safety and work rules and regulations. Maintain departmental housekeeping standards, and clean/restock area as required.

Daifuku America Corporation is a leader in Design, Manufacturing, Installation and Support of automotive automation/material handling systems in North America. The company is currently seeking an experienced Assembler II for the facility in Reynoldsburg, OH.
The primary goal is satisfying customer requirements of quality, quantity, and delivery, in a safe manner, while maximizing productivity. Specifically, the Assembler II is responsible for all job activities required to support production processes. These activities include but are not limited to: performing mechanical assembly work which is typically of high complexity and/or requires fitting, alignment and adjustment of components, units and assemblies to very close tolerances.
Assist with training new hires
Read and understand blue prints and/or verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision
Be able to locate all parts and hardware as needed
Part inspection before assembly
Assemble product as needed, shimming, grinding, setting dimensions
Assemble larger parts to maintain working order and disassemble for shipping as needed
Touch up paint, clean up, and get ready for shipping
Documents actions of final assemblies by completing production and quality forms
Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources
Follows all plant safety guidelines, practices and procedures. Also, be aware of activity in the work surroundings and maintain a clean and safe work area
Properly use personal protective equipment when required

Numerous openings available for our 2nd shift (3:30pm - 12:00am) at Stanley Access' manufacturing facility! Starting pay at $14.25/hr +. This position is responsible for performing a variety of manufacturing tasks related to cutting, machining and assembly of automatic door packages.
