Electrical Harness Designer
We are seeking an Electrical Harness Designer to create detailed electrical schematics and manufacturing documentation for harnesses used to connect advanced sensors and computing to self-driving robotic vehicles. Automotive or heavy equipment electrical troubleshooting and/or wiring experience is desired. We regularly are outfitting a large variety of automotive, trucking, construction, and mining platforms, and one of the critical components to each of these systems is the wiring and electrical design.
· Design and create schematics from system conceptual architecture
· Design and create 2D harness manufacturing drawings
· Generate and maintain harnessing bill of materials
· Assist with integration of harnesses with prototype robotic systems
· Develop and conduct component and system testing, inspection and documentation
· Work with other engineers to evaluate interface between system components and the overall system operation and performance
· Revise and maintain electrical documentation for robotic systems
· Wiring harness & connector assembly, testing, and troubleshooting
· Electrical system diagnostics
· Reading & understanding wiring schematics and engineering assembly drawings

Account Manager - Wire Harness
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Makes sales calls on selected key accounts and Tier 1 & 2 supplier levels dealing in Electrical Distribution Systems/Wiring Harnesses.
Input and track sales opportunities via the CRM system
Promote the sale of product by solicitation at the Design Engineer level.
Build sales volume of existing products, and search for new opportunities on design variations or new products, utilizing our textile and new technologies.
Manage and build effective relationships with customers' Engineering and Purchasing departments, as well as intercompany departments.
Support sales effort by providing samples, data, pricing and product application information.
Participate in product/marketing strategies, trade shows & new product development, and have ability to give and develop product presentations.

The Mechanical Subsystems Directorate (MSD) is searching for a design engineer with experience in harness and interconnect design.In this position, the candidate will be responsible for developing technical solutions to a wide range of complex problems related to the entire product life cycle including proposal, design, manufacturing, integration and test of various types of harness and interconnects (round wire and/or flex circuits) for multiple missile programs.
The candidate will require an understanding and application of technical expertise in the mechanical engineering field with full knowledge of all other related disciplines.On new programs, the candidate will be responsible for the definition of mechanical outline and construction details, connector selection and specification, mechanical and assembly drawings, oversee electrical layout and full ownership of final technical data package.Proposal efforts in harnessing and interconnects will require support.They will establish and be responsible for meeting cost, schedule, quality, and performance requirements for finished product.The candidate will work with direction or supervision while exercising latitude in determining the technical objectives of the assignment.The position will require frequent interaction with senior personnel on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations, and physical locations.

Engine Harness Development Engineer
This Engine Harness Development Engineer duties include but are not limited to the design, prototyping and documenting responsibilities of engine, transmission and electrified powertrain wiring harnesses to be used in dynamometer test cells. The Engineer's responsibilities also include organizing and overseeing the build of such harnesses (both in-house and outsourcing to a supplier), checking for errors, verifying operation, controlling inventory, troubleshooting issues and ensuring corrective actions.
