TE Connectivity's Project Management Teams are responsible for managing the operational aspects of projects from inception through implementation. They coordinate cross-functional teams and serve as liaison between project management and planning, project teams and line management. Our Teams review status of projects and budgets, manage schedules and prepare status reports. They assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. They also develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

Coordinating the design and release of engine wiring harnesses and related components from concept phase into production.
Creating designs using a three dimensional CAD package.
Producing and evaluating possible wire harness design solutions to improve cost, quality and performance based on specialized knowledge of engineering applications.
Reading electrical schematics to relate to wire harness designs.
Completing two dimensional harness drawings.
Participating on a cross functional team and performing design reviews.
Knowledge and understanding of wire routing and routing considerations including the Routing Quality Assessment (RQA).
Demonstrated ability to solve problems through coursework, projects, internships and prior work experience.
Desire to work in a team environment where innovative ideas are shared and developed.
Practical and/or design experience with engine and/or Off-highway equipment.
Advanced experience with Pro/E, especially Pro/Cabling module.
Experience with Capital Harness Systems (CHS) or similar electrical schematic design/development programs.
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
3-5 years' experience designing wire harnesses.
3+ years of experience in Pro/Engineer (CREO) Cabling and PDM Link

Candidate shall not be a foreign national and must be legally qualified to work on an ITAR project.
Aerospace experience is required.
Knowledge of Catia V5 is required.
Candidate must be able to design wire harness assemblies and installations utilizing the Catia V5 Electrical and Sheet Metal Work Benches.
Must have intimate knowledge of an ability to assign wires/cables to their correct harness assembly, based on EMI/EMC and system separation or system functionality requirements, while meeting all installation and maintainability requirements.
Candidate must possess knowledge of regulatory guidance material relative to aircraft harness design.

The Wire Harness Design Engineer is responsible for Wire Data Design on Bell Helicopter's V-22 aircraft platform, utilizing Capital Harness Systems (Mentor Graphics) and/or CATIA SCHEMA. This position is located at Bell Helicopter' Ft. Worth, TX headquarters facility.

Tasks include Wiring Diagram design from conceptual design to final design, including architecture and point-to-point diagrams.
Development of Engineering Drawings, of Wiring Diagrams, Architecture, and Wire Harnesses including Notes List, Parts List, and Equipment List.
ENOVIA document creation, route creation, and document release.
Read and understand Wiring Diagrams, System Architecture, Equipment Lists, Parts List, Component Data Sheets and related Engineering documents.
Coordinate with other groups and disciplines including Wire Installation, Airframe, Fluid Systems, etc.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering – or similar technical discipline preferred or equal experience will be considered.
At least 2 years related experience and demonstrated proficiency.
Knowledge of Wire Harness construction required. 2000 hours' experience in Capital Harness Systems (Mentor Graphics and/or the CATIA SCHEMA Module) is preferred.
A minimum 3000 hours' experience in CATIA V4 or V5, with CATIA V6 preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Power Point, and Excel is required.

Writes, tracks, and maintains project status on SEWS and Ford media

Coordinate new component prep, obtain new parts information from engineering, inform information to manufacturing/purchasing/material control and arrange implementation timing with engineering and manufacturing
Use MS office software daily including excel, outlook, powerpoint, access for communication, along with customer supplier portals

Education and Experience
The Cable and Harness Technician uses engineering documentation to manufacture cable / harness products. Responsible for understanding Northrop Gurmman technical standards and requirements as it pertains to the trade skill.
Reads and interprets documentation such as Work Instructions, schematics, wirelists, and drawings. Ensures quality of the hardware is maintained and company procedures are followed. Ensures work is done with completeness, accuracy, adherence to operation sheets, ISO procedures, schedules, and assign tasks. Provides regular communication to shop leads and Work Center management on status and technical issues.
A High School diploma or General Education degree is required
Two plus years of related experience is required.
Technical school, training, IPC or J-STD certifications are a plus.
Ability to obtain Security Clearance
