JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Harvest Worker will be responsible to assist the Harvester Operator with various harvesting and maintenance tasks to facilitate continuous flow of raw products through the implements and other farm related equipment in the harvesting process in a timely manner.
JOB DUTIES:
Clean harvest equipment of all loose plants, vegetables, soil, stems, and roots
Assist with the set-up of the diesel powered Harvester and attach farm implements to Harvesters using bolts and hand tools
Load and unload crops or containers of materials, manually or using conveyors, hand-truck or transfer auger
Load hoppers, containers, or conveyors to feed machines with products using transfer augers, suction gates, shovels, or pitchforks
Assist with the loading/unloading equipment and machinery such as tractors, harvesters, implements and other farms related items
Conduct light maintenance of carrot harvester
Maintain and clean other harvesting equipment
Perform other duties as assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Traveling in carpool vans with other crew members
Must be able to adapt to changes in the work environment
Able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events
Must be able to work as a team and follow instructions
Ability to follow safety procedures
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to work 75% of time in non local areas and 25% in local areas
Valid California Driver License and clean driving record
PREFERRED QULIFICATIONS:
- Six months to one year previous experience as a farm worker preferred
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Must be able to carry/lift up to 50 pounds
Environmental exposure- seasonal outdoor temperatures
Material exposure- machine truck vibrations and moving mechanical parts
HOURS & WORKDAYS:
The days and hours for this position will vary and be based on the AG Wage Order which is subject to 10 hours a day and up to 60 hours per week
Stonestreet Harvest Winery Worker
Join the Stonestreet Estate Vineyards Production Team for the 2018 harvest! We source our fruit from world-class estate vineyards in Sonoma County to bring into our advanced Alexander Valley winery and produce primarily Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc. We are looking for both international harvest interns that are CAEP eligible and current students or recent graduates from colleges or universities pursuing a degree in viticulture and enology or a related field.

Background and Experience:
Prior winery and vineyard experience and/or education in related field preferred. Must have ability to communicate effectively with good skills in reading, writing, and basic math.
Must be able to work safely around equipment, electrical outlets, and chemicals. Individuals selected for this position must be reliable, detail-oriented, and have good work ethic. Kenwood Vineyards Harvest Cellar Worker
Position Summary:
This position performs all standard crush activities, including receiving and crushing grapes, and operating crusher and presses. Responsibilities may also include punch overs, punch downs, racking, filtering, clarifying and blending of juice and wine, sanitation in all areas of cellar operation, cleaning and sterilizing tanks and other equipment. Overtime is required as needed to meet operational needs.

Working in an indoor / outdoor facility and reporting to directions given by the Cellar Master and Forepersons, the successful applicant will have opportunities to learn the following:
