Duties: Setup, adjust, and operate machines. Remove reels from take-ups and install pay-off reels as necessary and other related duties as directed.

Principal Accountabilities: 1. Configuration, implementation and management of IBM Power Systems and RHEL Enterprise servers in a highly available and virtualized environment (both physical and virtual). 2. Building, configuring, troubleshooting LPARs, VIO servers on IBM Power Systems, or RHEL systems on physical (rack mount and blades) and virtual server (on VMWare 6.0/6.5) 3. Backup / Recovery processes and disaster recovery procedures to maintain data protection and availability. Experience with NIM and supporting SAN Replication Technologies on Unix/Linux and Storix on RHEL. 4. Ensure day-to-day support and a high level of 24x7x365 service availability as well as participate in on-call support. 5. Respond to real-time performance alerts to resolve performance problems, regular on-going performance analysis and capacity planning. 6.
