Alfa Laval is looking for a Welded Heat Exchanger (WHE) Mechanic Welder to join our service center team. You will work with highly motivated and engaged colleagues all doing their utmost to fulfill customer expectations at a highly proficient technical level.
You will perform a variety of duties to disassemble, inspect, repair, assemble and test Welded Heat Exchanger products to bring them up to specification standards, including welding. Products supported include Spiral and Compabloc WHE units for our internal and external customers.
Expectations & Responsibilities:
Perform equipment receipt, uncrate, clean, strip and tear down units
Inspect, repair, service, test and package following the company's policies, SOPs, quality standards and Safety guidelines
Works from drawings, parts lists, blueprints, charts, tables and graphs to evaluate and assist in estimating repair costs, time and materials or parts needed to repair assemblies and subassemblies
Follow the quality plan per job to repair products
Diagnoses, checks and correct mechanical functions through adjustments, using various tools and approved repair methods
Sets-up and operates manual, semi-automatic and automatic welding equipment as required for hot TIG, MIG, arc, air arc, plasma transferred welding, brazing, soldering, hard surfacing and fusing operations.
Adheres to welding trade practices to layout, fit, level, align and weld parts. Selects proper welding tips, rods, wire and amperage.
Responsible for completing Service Reports with pictures, notations and recommendations
Moves material inside and outside the shop as needed

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities of the Successful Candidate:

Heat Trace Sales Manager
The Heat Trace Sales Manager will be responsible for growing Nelson Heat Trace sales across the United States. This proven sales professional will work with multiple independent Value-Added reps and will be supported by a sales channel manager and an application engineering team. He/she will work the entire customer base from EPC/Specifier to large construction contractors to end users specializing in oil & gas, petrochemicals, chemicals and other industries that have heat trace applications. This position will report directly to the VP/GM of Appleton Group's Heating Cable Systems business.

The Assistant Induction HTT Technician assists in performing Induction Heat treatment for the use of heating normally to extreme temperatures, to achieve a desired result such as hardening or softening of a material. Plastics and Regenerative Medicine Representatives act as subject matter experts for consignment related programs including legal contracts, IDNs, GPOs, audit reconciliation, and compliance within the programs.
