Alfa Laval is looking for a Welded Heat Exchanger (WHE) Mechanic Welder to join our service center team. You will work with highly motivated and engaged colleagues all doing their utmost to fulfill customer expectations at a highly proficient technical level.
You will perform a variety of duties to disassemble, inspect, repair, assemble and test Welded Heat Exchanger products to bring them up to specification standards, including welding. Products supported include Spiral and Compabloc WHE units for our internal and external customers.
Expectations & Responsibilities:
Perform equipment receipt, uncrate, clean, strip and tear down units
Inspect, repair, service, test and package following the company's policies, SOPs, quality standards and Safety guidelines
Works from drawings, parts lists, blueprints, charts, tables and graphs to evaluate and assist in estimating repair costs, time and materials or parts needed to repair assemblies and subassemblies
Follow the quality plan per job to repair products
Diagnoses, checks and correct mechanical functions through adjustments, using various tools and approved repair methods
Sets-up and operates manual, semi-automatic and automatic welding equipment as required for hot TIG, MIG, arc, air arc, plasma transferred welding, brazing, soldering, hard surfacing and fusing operations.
Adheres to welding trade practices to layout, fit, level, align and weld parts. Selects proper welding tips, rods, wire and amperage.
Responsible for completing Service Reports with pictures, notations and recommendations
Moves material inside and outside the shop as needed

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities of the Successful Candidate:
You will have a high school diploma, or equivalent
You will have a minimum of 3 years manual repair/workshop/manufacturing environment
Experience operating fork lift trucks, hand pallet jacks and overhead cranes.
Previous Tig welding experience with Stainless Steel, Titanium, and Hastelloy A minimum of five years practical welding and mechanical experience.
Welding certifications, a plus (ASME cert not required)

As a Senior Engineer developing Exterior Trim for the Vehicle Exterior group you will be responsible for design, release and launch of 'A class' trims in a range of materials including plastic, metal and carbon fiber. Finishes will include painted, mold in color, textured, chromed etc for components on future or current vehicle lines. You will be part of the team that creates and executes world class systems in terms of styling, function and customer quality. The Manager of Plastics & Aesthetics is responsible for managing all assigned clinic and support staff, developing and implementing policies, processes and procedures to improve financial performance, patient/clinic workflow and patient experience, attainment of departmental financial and productivity goals, and administration of assigned budgets.
In this position you will:
Provide management for the daily operations of the SCI Plastics and Aesthetics Clinic, along with other assigned functions
Work supportively and collaboratively with SCI physician leaders and other direct care providers to develop systems and processes that improve clinical quality while assuring patient safety, and improve provider and clinic efficiency
Build relationships with providers and interdisciplinary team for advancement of institutional and network goals
In conjunction with the providers and SCI leadership, define and pursue opportunities for the ongoing business development and expansion of the service line
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in Business or other related Health Sciences Management
Minimum 7 years of experience in a healthcare administrative role with demonstrated leadership qualities
Knowledge and experience with process improvement and change management models
Demonstrated knowledge in use of EPIC electronic medical record tool
As a core leader within the SCI, required to have transportation to be available at all Swedish Medical Center locations as needed
