Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the Customer Service Representative will act as the primary contact for assigned customer accounts in the Warehouse. He/She will support the Warehouse operations by providing timely and efficient service to all customer inquiries.

If selected for this position, you will serve as a Construction Control Representative within GSA's Public Buildings Service in Champlain, NY. Major Duties include:
Responsible for all matters of assigned projects and for assuring that all matters conform to requirements of GSA policy, regulations, and standards. Ensures that assigned projects are technically correct for both design and construction and are in accordance with the best current practice in the industry; that they are within the technical and administrative constraints of the project.
Develops scopes of work, schedules, detailed fee estimates, contract criteria, and other pertinent documentation of professional design services from architecture and engineering (A/E) firms are required. Assists Contracting Officer in negotiating contracts and design changes with A/E firms in coordination with agency representatives and manages the overall planning and design phase of projects.
Assures all technical areas are addressed, proper design consideration is given and total project objectives and schedules are met. Prepares and updates milestone schedules for project delivery, and reporting on project status.
Meets with contractors, manufacturers' reps, Lessors, and/or Government agency reps to establish construction requirements. Participates in review of bids, contractors' proposals, and contract specifications, as well as in contract negotiations and technical and business discussions with contractors. Reviews and evaluates contractor submittals including drawings, samples, certificates of compliance, laboratory analyses, certifications, warranties, material proposals and other data to determine compliance or noncompliance.
Monitors project to ensure projects stays within the approved funding, scope and schedule. Resolves complex problems or conflicts impeding the progress of the project.
Identifies, integrates, and/or adapts resources to achieve project goals while effectively managing scope, schedule and budget for assigned project. Ensures that projects delivered meet customer requirements and that GSA has delivered as promised.
