Raw Material Handler
Leading Fort Worth aerospace manufacturer has several openings for a raw material handler on their 1st shift (7:00am
Friday). Previous experience working with metal tubing or pipe, general construction experience, fabrication / manufacturing experience required.
Qualified candidates will have the following skills and background:
Two or more years direct industry related experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
Proficient in reading and understanding blueprints, route sheets, and test specifications.
Perform semi‐complex mathematical calculations, as well as demonstrate effective verbal, written, and basic computer skills.
Strong mechanical reasoning, as well as hydraulic and/or electrical background required.
Able to implement and effectively apply lean initiatives.
Able to interpret reports and use standard business software applications.
High school diploma is requires. Drug test and background check are required.
Pay rate is $13.50 per hour.

Manual loading and unloading of freight with the use of a pallet jack, hand truck or forklift, general labor, and warehouse maintenance. Models and acts in accordance with our guiding principles and core values.
Assist in receiving cargo by removing cargo from truck by hand, or using manual equipment such as hand truck or pallet jack.
May also use forklift.
Verify and note the count and condition of cargo received.
Accurately label freight to destination.
Assist in segregating cargo received by account or intended location.
Perform various manual labor functions such as hand-loading containers.
Develop and maintain excellent customer service to internal and external customers at all times.

Material Handler - 2Nd Shift
Summary of Position:
Working under direct supervision and electronic reports, to perform duties to distribute parts to inventory and work cells.
Essential Job Duties and
Load/Unload trucks and document transaction in accordance with established procedures.
Perform cycle counts in accordance with established procedures.
Pull orders/components and deliver to appropriate areas.
Empty chip and scrap buckets into correct receptacle.
Perform forklift audit and preventative maintenance.
Move material to appropriate areas throughout the plant and document in accordance with established procedures.
Assist welder/operators with lifting and moving materials.
Support area with damage free skids and pans.
Investigate and resolve identified problems with orders.
Use appropriate software system to verify status of inventory.
Maintain a neat and orderly work area complying with all 5S initiatives.

The Material Handler is responsible for safely handling and staging material for production at the paint line/ Slitter. The Material Handler is also responsible for preparing necessary materials for packaging of finished coils. In addition to those primary functions, the Material Handler ensures that

Operates Forklift and/or Overhead Crane properly and safely.
Prepares materials to be used for packaging and shipping of finished coils

Verifies that finished goods (coils) are properly identified with an identification ticket prior to moving them to a storage area

Quarantines non-conforming material (using the HFI process) and notifying Quality Control when non-conforming conditions exist

Seasonal Mail Handler - Usps (No Experience Required)
$13.42 plus an additional $4.41 health and welfare (H&W).
The base pay rate of $13.42 and the additional $4.41 is a health and welfare (H&W) benefit which is normally offered in the form of a 401K or medical plan. We have opted to offer it as cash on top of the base rate. There is no H&W paid on overtime. So any overtime worked will be paid at 1.5 times the base rate, not the base rate + H&W.
