We are seeking a Technician I for our Biologics Testing Solutions site located in Malvern, PA.
The following are minimum requirements related to the Technician I position.
Under direct supervision, responsible for performing basic daily laboratory and clean room tasks as they relate to the operations performed within the Manufacturing department, including cell banking and vaccine preparation activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Expand and harvest a mammalian or insect cell line or propagate and harvest a virus or vaccine candidate to generate several hundred vials of a Cell Bank or Virus Bank.
Ability to appropriately culture and manipulate varying cell lines.
Work within a clean room suite while gowned in clean room attire.
Practice good aseptic technique and sterile procedures.
Prepare stock solutions and media to be used in any Manufacturing campaigns.
Perform calibration, monitoring and cleaning of laboratory equipment associated with the manufacturing of cell banks.
Maintain a clean laboratory and working environment and monitor laboratory equipment specifications.
Adhere to company policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) as related to cGMP compliance and good documentation practices.
Perform all other related duties as assigned
Perform cell banking and vaccine preparation activities in the laboratory and within class 100/10,000 clean room environments while gowned appropriately.
Work within a class 100 biological safety cabinet and maintain a sterile aseptic environment.
Prepare all materials and reagents (including growth medium).
Maintain equipment and clean rooms.
Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to company policies and procedures.
Follow SOPs and regulatory requirements.
Perform all other related duties as assigned.
Education: Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) in a scientific field or related discipline.
Experience: 0-2 years related experience in a biological laboratory or GMP facility. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for specific education and experience listed above.
Other: Ability to write SOPs and other documentation; proficiency in MS Word, ability to perform tasks independently.

We specifically are looking for experienced engineers to be mechanical design engineers to be a part of module level teams which we call Component Integrated Product Teams (CIPTs) that support each of our product lines. These positions are individual contributor positions and will have very good communication and problem solving skills and serve as the overall integrator for any part design.
Experienced mechanical design engineers may lead a team of engineers in developing conceptual, preliminary, and detailed designs of gas turbine engines; be responsible for the configuration; meet cost, weight, and production requirements; participate on or lead multidisciplinary integrated product teams (IPTs) to develop and produce new hardware or to improve existing designs; and support design reviews and provide production and field technical support. The engineers in these positions will interact with internal and external customers. You will be capable of generating free body load diagrams, performing hand calculations and performing structural analyses to assess new designs or proposed changes to existing designs.
