Aerospace Hot Form Press Brake Operator- Day Shift (Mon-Fri 7:00Am-3:30Pm)
As part of our recent growth, we are seeking an experienced Hot Form Brake Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will identify and pull correct material identified on a manufacturing order, set up and operate Amada Press Brake and Lucifer Oven to dimensions specified on manufacturing work order and deliver finished material to other work areas, and complete detailed work order.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTES
Ability to identify the proper bend sequences.
Ability to identify the proper tooling for usage.
Operate Press Brake and Hot Form Oven
Ability to prepare and run setups and forming operations.
Reading, comprehending, and ability to follow work order instructions.
Read work orders or production schedules to determine specifications, such as materials to be used, locations of bend lines, or dimensions and tolerances.
Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintain them over time.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency.
Create task-sheets so that other Brakepress workers can run jobs within the shop.

The PRESS OPERATOR is responsible for supporting the goals of the plant in the efficient operation of a press, printing labels to specification, and assuming that quality is being maintained in a consistent manner.
This is a technical and skilled position in our narrow-web pressure-sensitive printing operation. A person in this role with exceptional performance will have the opportunity over time, to cross-train on various presses. An ideal candidate is someone mechanically inclined with solid printing experience (at least 1 year as an Operator), strong math skills, good attendance, and a desire to grow their career with us!
Our Green Bay plant runs 24 hours a day, five days per week with a 2 production shift operation running 4-5 days/week. Our current opening is 2nd shift working 10 hour days, 4 days/week: Monday
Thursday with OT as needed and required on Fridays. Hours 4pm
2am.
Pay is competitive depending on experience and skill level. To incent associates for working the evening shift, you will get an additional $0.50 shift differential tacked on to your base pay!
Job Duties:
Exhibits a safety-first attitude in all that is done, from proper PPE compliance to keeping the work environment safe and hazard-free. Compliance with all workplace and product safety standards required
Must read job ticket carefully before set-up and run, familiarizing self with required processes and customer expectations
Input job order information into the computer (i.e. roll track numbers, correct activities, job specification, etc.); set specifications on the machine (measurement accuracy and attention to detail required). We utilize Radius Shop Floor data collection (SFDC).
Maintain a clean workspace and press/press-area before, during and after each job
Inspect jobs and flag (or remove as applicable) all defects using strobe light
(Warning: Viewing of the strobe light may trigger epileptic seizures in persons with photo sensitive epilepsy). May be expected to use other additional quality inspection tools such as AVT.
Check completed job for quality
Performs and supports Preventative Maintenance on press
Comply with quality assurance specifications of the customer and MCC including but not limited to handling procedures, paperwork requirements, etc. Compliance with all data integrity, product safety, and GMP standards required.
Complete quality assurance sheet and associated documentation, making appropriate verifications prior to submitting job for supervisory approval
Complete roll-end section of Quality Control checklist making appropriate verifications as every master roll is run on press
Responsible for following processes and procedures
Responsible for cleanliness of machinery and organization of the workspace; light maintenance of machinery and troubleshooting problems may be required as applicable and safe to do so
Perform test runs as required
May be expected to assist in the performance of external make-ready operations in preparation for changeover activities as needed, with Press Assistant
May be expected to assist with clean-up activities following changeover; clean ink pans and ancillary equipment, strip plates from cylinders, conduct wash-up, etc. with Press Assistant
Ideal candidate will cross train Press Assistant when time allows, to run press through breaks and lunches and mentor employees to support growth within our plant

Job Requirements
Experience/Skills Required:
High school education or equivalent required
Knowledge of printing processes and previous experience as strong Press Assistant, or skilled Rewind Operator required; minimum 1-year experience in referenced or like-position.
Ability to run press and assist press set-up, run, and clean-up – ability to do all duties described plus regular requirements of safely lifting, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs., 20+ feet in distance regularly; 75 lbs.

Exciting 2nd Shift Flexographic Press Operator opportunities available near the airport. This position pays $18-$23/hour depending upon experience and is "temp. to hire", running Mark Andy 4150 presses (printing high quality labels) at a successful organization near the Milwaukee airport. Positions are: 2nd shift 2:40 p.m. to 10:40 p.m. with either (2) 10 minute breaks or (1) 20 minute break. If you have good basic math skills, lift up to 50 lbs., run/transition/touch screen to record and track and log the order, and have outstanding attendance, then this position is for you.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Load and unload aluminum to presses as required using electric walkie
Operate press controls.
Perform frequent dimensional and visual checks during production run and document gauging
Confer with quality control personnel regarding acceptability of raw parts during production runs.
Ensure good parts are produced, and quarantine or scrap parts that do not meet standards or specifications
Check and maintain press lubrication levels as required
