This person is responsible for watching over patients who need constant observation to ensure their safety.
They are responsible for staying with the patient even when the patient has visitors or company, interacting as appropriate to the patient's condition and choice under the direct of the RN. Ensures that patient care issues are directed immediately to the RN or Nursing Assistant. Alerts the RN of any patient request to leave the room for any reason but does not attempt to stop the patient and immediately informed the RN in the event that the patients unexpectedly attempts to leave the established area.

Provide public safety and interpretive services for JFK plaza and surrounding grounds
