We are currently seeking a Calibrator to be responsible for calibrating a variety of electrical and mechanical inertial sensors to meet documented specifications. You will utilize a variety of STD electrical equipment for example but not limited to; DC power supplies, multi-meters, oscilloscopes and RMS voltmeter. Needs capability of understanding basic electronics, reading prints and work instructions, configuring work station, and calibrating units from test procedures. Also, candidate must have solid working knowledge of electronic test equipment and able to follow detailed instructions and methods.
Must be able to read and adhere to technical procedures and prints. Must be self-motivated and versatile. The ideal candidate must have 2 to 4 years of related experience working with electronic devices. Must have good eyesight, manual dexterity, and good hand and eye coordination. Soldering skills are a plus.

Share by Mail Job Overview The Electrified Powertrain Lead Calibrator is responsible for leading HCP calibration development from first early mule vehicle to production on the next generation of FCA’s Electrified Powertrain. The scope of responsibility spans the application and optimization of control systems into production for hybrid and electric vehicle powertrains. The Lead Calibrator will conduct HCP calibration reviews with the calibration team and manage HCP calibration changes through PowerCal. The Lead Calibrator will maintain the ring responsibility matrix and make sure all HCP calibrations have assigned owners. They will review any new calibrations and track using PowerCal Reset Report when section sets are brought forward, work with calibrators and controls engineers to ensure initial values for new calibrations are correct by reviewing SWCRs implemented in the new release (performed at each new SW release). The Lead will coordinate calibration merges with other section set leads (Motor Controls, OBD and Torque Security). He/she will have production release responsibility in PowerCal for the HCP and AHCP SW and Cals. Additional job responsibilities include but not limited to:
Lead dyno commissioning and first-run activities, support dyno with calibration mask
Work closely with HCP controls team to ensure features are working sufficiently and efficiently
Provide training to all new calibration engineers and/or anyone else needing training on the operation of hybrid vehicles and controls
Lead trips and report activities for senior management
Work with the CoE teams to ensure best practices are followed

Calibration Tech is an entry level position with no certification required. The purpose for an operator at this level is to learn and train on the basic understandings of all calibration specific operations. Calibration Tech I is expected to have the basic level ability to prepare and assemble components to develop final or sub-assemblies with direct supervision by a certified calibrator (level II or above). The operator will set up and operate production equipment to ensure flow, spray angle, and quality of spray meets product specifications and tolerance levels. The operator is expected to follow established standard work under general supervision in efforts to obtain certification within 120 days. The Analytical Lab Technician 1, under the direction of the Lab Supervisor or Lab Chemist, learns processes and procedures for conducting and analyzing chemical and physical laboratory tests of solid materials, liquids, and gases. The incumbent will work primarily with in-process fertilizer samples, sulfuric acid, ammonia solutions, and dry blends. The Analytical Lab Technician 1 is responsible for general cleaning throughout the laboratory and assisting other lab technicians as necessary.
Assists in conducting chemical and physical laboratory and/or field tests according to established standards; responsible for learning and complying with all standards and regulations.
Prepares samples of fertilizer by grinding, digesting, and filtering; assists in preparing solutions to test and analyze products. Follows laboratory guidelines to determine strength, stability, purity, and chemical content.
Documents results of tests and analyses into specified laboratory notebook or spreadsheet; checks for accuracy and adherence to internal and external requirements.
Assists in analyzing sulfuric acid using Density Sound Analyzer or Titration method; operates a hydrometer and applies limited trace analysis to analyze ammonia solutions.
Assists in analyses of ammonium sulfate samples and dry blend samples; applies methods to test for contents including, but not limited to free acid, percent moisture, total nitrogen, iron, zinc, etc. Documents all calculations, and reports on blend work orders.
Maintains, cleans, and sterilizes laboratory instruments and equipment after use and as needed; responsible for following material recycling guidelines and appropriate waste disposal.
Assists in maintaining laboratory records and general clerical tasks; files and organizes historical data, performs general data entry.
Prepares cleaning solutions according to specifications; cleans and dusts sinks, tables, walls, floors, shelves, and other surfaces as assigned.
High school diploma or GED; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
1 – 3 years’ experience required.
Advanced math skills and reasoning, with the ability to accurately measure small samples.
Knowledge of the basic principles of chemistry, biology, and/or related disciplines; knowledge of laboratory safety and proper equipment/material care and maintenance preferred.
Ability to work with glassware and various tools including, but not limited to splitter, grinder, acid analyzer, continuous flow analyzer, flame photometer, % moisture analyzer, hydrometer, gas burners, and calculator.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications to include but not limited to Excel, Word, etc.
Excellent verbal, written communication, time management skills and attention to details.

Must be familiar with air movers, dehus, air scrubbers, and all hand tools and Respirator fit
