Ponce Law Firm, P.C. is a steadily growing firm consisting of a team of attorneys who’s primary practice is immigration law. The attorney will meet with clients during initial consultations and because the majority of our client base is Spanish speaking, the right applicant must be fully bilingual in English and Spanish. The attorney will review preliminary eligibility, provide the client with available legal options, develop legal strategy and will be expected to assist staff in completing all necessary steps towards the legal needs of the case such as completing various immigration forms, collecting necessary documents and conducting complex legal research to resolve concerns. The attorney should be able to formulate written legal arguments to advocate for approval of various waivers and applications and should be comfortable representing applicants in front of immigration officials. This position will involve some travel to and from San Antonio, Texas and occasional travel out of central Texas.
The firm provides health insurance after a probationary period, sick days, bonuses dependent upon performance and vacation time after a year of employment. Paid trainings are also provided. The atmosphere of the firm is fast-paced, upbeat and the staff of 8-10 is close-knit requiring a person with a team-player attitude.
SALARY RANGES from $50K-70K Dependent upon Experience.
While we prefer a person with experience in immigration law, we are willing to train the right motivated candidate who demonstrates a genuine passion for helping the immigrant community, shows is a quick study and is committed to going the extra mile to get up to speed in immigration law.
