Amazon's Global Immigration Operations & Services (GIOS) Team in the HR Services organization is building a best-in-class case management program in Seattle to deliver U.S. immigration support and services to employees across the U.S. The U.S. Immigration Business and Employee Support Team, based in Seattle, provides case management for our most vulnerable at-risk employees. Role:
The ideal candidate for the Immigration Specialist position will be familiar with US immigration laws and processing various types of visas. This role will serve as the main point of contact for managers, employees, recruiters, and the HR team on all immigration, relocation matters. This person will be responsible for organizing the document exchange between the visa applicants and the legal firm processing these requests, provide status of the petitions and answer any questions to the key stakeholders. Key Accountabilities:
n Responsible for smooth functioning for management of end-to-end immigration process for employees and consultants.

n H-1B Amendment, H-1B Extension, H-1B Transfer, H4 Dependents visa filing, H4 EAD filing, including preparation of supporting documents for PERM / I-140 & Perm Audits.
n Constantly communicate with employees on immigration and resolve queries.
n Prepare visa cancellations/ Revoke letters to USCIS and also Port of entry letters for consultants.
n Assist employees in H1-B stamping process by preparing documents, handing over /dispatching documents and briefing the consultants on visa stamping process and also arrange visa interview slot by filling DS-160 form.
n Ensure employees are well prepared to face H1b/L1/B1 visa interviews before the consulates along with complete and accurate documentation.
n Contacting USCIS for obtaining information on visa approval delay or any Typographical Errors in the legal documents.
n Address all queries raised by USCIS and Consulates on immigration and non-immigration petitions and visas on high priority
n Co-ordinate with employees on the GC processing, preparing the required paperwork and co-ordinate with the attorney
n Briefing candidates on frequently asked questions at immigration offices in the US or the US Consulate in India
n Research immigration and non-immigrations laws and communicate any changes to the management
n Responding to the RFE’s received.
n Update, maintain and share all relevant reports with management
n Share H1b approval notice, LCA, GC and other important documents with the HR team to keep an employee record on the server.
n Maintaining files for immigration and relocation cases such as Public Access Files (PAF) and PERM documents.
n Compiling immigration and relocation program metrics and keeping the management abreast with the latest details.
n Strong knowledge of US Immigration Laws.

The Role
The Global Mobility & Immigration Senior Program Manager is part of the Global Mobility team within Total Rewards in HR. This position will provide strategic leadership and consultation to HR and the business regarding EA's Global Mobility program, in addition to U.S. immigration matters.

Immigration Specialist
Infostretch Corporation is seeking an experienced Immigration Specialist to provide support on immigration and transactional matters. The position reports to the General Counsel and key responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Job Description
Immigration – 75%:
Prepare US employment-based, immigrant visa filings to US Department of Labor, US Citizenship and Immigration Services, US Department of State, and US Customs and Border Protection.
Compile immigration eligibility documents and analyze individuals' potential immigration benefits, including H-1B and L-1 visa processing.
Assist with drafting PERM Labor Certification advertisement text, prevailing wage determinations, recruitment documents, and PERM applications, meticulously tracking timelines of each step.
Petitioners using INSZoom and other legal Software's. Collaborate with account executives and managers to obtain documents and information necessary to prepare applications
Coordinates with employees and their respective managers to gather required information
Performs research to obtain information such as background on an employee, current wages, processing procedures, stand processing times, etc. accordingly files LCA for wage determination
Manages outside immigration attorney for filing the PW & PERM and conducts the recruitment in connection with Green Card process and any other related work
Updates database(s) and utilize case preparation/management tools (INSZoom) effectively and efficiently
Tracks Immigration matters and escalate and prepare monthly status expiration reports and update immigration tracking system (INSZoom). Coordinate and help Global immigration services for employees assigned to work in foreign countries
General other duties including, but not limited to reviewing various contracts including employment agreement, Non Disclosure Agreements (NDA), Statement of work, purchase orders, work order, Master Service agreements etc.
Transactional – 25%:
Assist with drafting, redlining, and negotiating NDA's as well as vendor and procurement agreements.
Responsible for tracking contract flow, renewal, and termination dates and providing status updates.
Research legal issues; gather facts in connection with legal and business matters.
General administrative support including editing and formatting, proofreading, copying, collating, scanning, filing, and record keeping.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience including work experience preparing US nonimmigrant filings (including H-1Bs, L-1A's, and TNs), as well as US immigrant filings, including PERM Labor Certifications, EB-2 and EB-3 I-140s, and Adjustment of Status Applications
Strong analytical abilities, research skills, and oral and written communication skills
Effective time management and organizational skills
Ability to be adaptable and proactive, to take initiative and responsibility, and to work independently and part of a team
Strong attention to detail
Excellent proofreading skills and grammar
Ability to manage a heavy workload and prioritize multiple projects
