Job Profile Reporting directly to the Vice President, West, the incumbent is responsible for growing the rental, lease and sales of Red D Arc Specialty Products to include subarc systems, positioners, manipulators, turning rolls, heat treating equipment, blasting products and related welding equipment in our Southeast District. The incumbent is required to follow up on sales leads, making presentations in a professional manner, preparing quotes, producing conceptual Hard Automation application drawings and expansion of current Company Hard Automation sales channels.

Position Summary The Event Specialist generates excitement, customer engagement, brand awareness, and increased product sales through conducting event demonstrations. Typically requires the ability to spend 66%+ hours each work day doing the following activities: engage in considerable physical activity, ability to lift and/or push up to 74 pounds, stand on feet for long periods of time, use products or cook food as appropriate for the demonstration, and may be required to work in extremely cold conditions (i.e. refrigerated and freezer sections). What You Will Be Doing - Investigate and provide technical support for manufacturing problems
Monitor production standards and investigate methods of improvement where standards are not being met
Analyze and determine the tooling and process designs necessary to produce new parts within cost and quality specifications; provide product design and services as necessary
Maximize efficiency by analyzing layout of equipment and production methods. Recommend alternative approaches for manufacturing methods, processes and equipment as necessary
Work with Design and Quality personnel on process and product quality improvements
Develop work plans, track project status, and execute multiple projects simultaneously
What You Need for this Position - BS Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering
Experience Level (3-5 years' experience) - Computer proficiency in Solidworks, ANSYS and AutoCad
Solid background in structural, stress and fatigue analysis
Ability to create/modify CAD Drawings
