Supplier Quality Engineer-Lead
The Supplier Quality Engineer will support Siemens Norwood by effectively and proactively ensuring the highest possible quality levels for purchased materials. This involves building strong relationships with suppliers and improving supplier related processes such as qualification, development, integration, monitoring, and auditing.
The position reports to the Plant Quality Manager and is responsible to coordinate local factory SQM activities.

This engineering position is involved with the design, implementation, system analysis, commissioning, data collection, protection and control relays, controls, and communication systems used by the Power Utility Industry for generation, transmission, and distribution of electricity.
Project Management Responsibilities
Provide the support of projects under the guidance of a senior engineer or the Business Unit Manager. Travel to and some work at remote locations is a component of the project tasks. Domestic and international travel is required.
Engineering of the calculations, design, development, and implementation including software, hardware, and systems design integration of the various components on any given project.

- Technical degree a plus
- Previous military experience and training a plus
- Ability to read and understand one line drawings and schematics.
- Open to regional travel
- Must be a US Citizen
- Clean driving record
