Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance.
Suggests changes in ergonomics and set up methods to increase efficiency. Evaluate processes to ensure the most efficient sequence of assembling parts and ensuring work is done in a safe manner.
Develop appropriate request summaries (AR) for machinery. Perform time studies and assist in the development, coordination, and installation of capital projects.
Participate in annual plan and strategy development for projects. Assist in cost modeling for new and existing capital projects.
Communicate with machine developers and builders on new and refurbish/rebuild existing equipment.
Review proposal (RFP) and develop specs for equipment and writes (FFP) for vendor or manufacturer.
Requisitions replacement parts for equipment.
Coordinates outside contract repair and maintenance services on specialized machinery.
Draw diagrams on ACAD of how to layout the production equipment and parts warehouse areas.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related engineering field required.
Skills and Experience:

North America Senior Industrial Engineer
The Industrial Engineer position supports the logistics organization through a variety of projects focused on enhancing productivity, maximizing throughput and ensuring workplace safety.
