Demonstrated skill in online searching using professional information tools/databases. Knowledge of Medical Safety, Regulatory and compliance requirements with regard to literature surveillance is preferred.

This position serves as supervisor of the Statewide e-Health and Health Information Exchange unit who, with the Director, is responsible for managing the overall vision, direction and general operations of the statewide e-health and health information exchange programs and services and provides support for overall OHIT administrative and budgetary functions. The incumbent manages strategic relationships with Minnesota e-health partners, including the Department of Human Services and other state agencies, statewide health information exchange entities, health care provider professional organizations, hospitals and health systems, local health departments and other organizations and national partners, such as CDC, CMS and ONC.
Master's degree in Public Health, Nutrition, Behavioral Sciences, Psychology, Epidemiology, Health Services Research or closely related field.
Two years of advanced professional or supervisory experience in a comprehensive public health program with responsibility for designing research studies, analyzing data and providing public health information/education. Must have knowledge of health behavior theory and practice; behavioral research methods; public health principles; epidemiology; and survey design, instrument design, and measurement.
A PhD in Public Health, Nutrition, Behavioral Sciences, Psychology, Epidemiology, Health Services Research or closely related field will substitute for one year of experience as described above.
