Reporting Structure: This position formally reports to the Meat Manager.
Status: This is a non-exempt position.

Non-Essential Job Functions

Meat Cutters are responsible for cutting, processing, weighing, wrapping, receiving and rotating all meat products while maintaining proper sanitation standards and handling other responsibilities as assigned.
• Provides assistance to Members by answering questions regarding meat, poultry, and seafood. Makes recommendations on food products when necessary.
• Cuts, grinds, and/or processes fresh meats. Weighs, packages, wraps, and labels cuts of meat, poultry, and seafood. Prepares special cuts of meat ordered by Members.
• Makes sure the meat case showcases all currently available products.
• Ensures the meat, seafood, prepared foods, and cheese cases are fully stocked. Rotates meats, poultry, seafood, prepared foods, and cheeses according to expiration dates. Follows established guidelines when disposing of damaged and/or expired products
• Inspects and stores meat upon delivery. Ensures that all received meats meet or exceed company quality standards.
• Receives and unpacks meat, poultry, seafood, prepared foods, and cheeses in the meat cooler and freezer.
• Cleans and sanitizes all equipment, display fixtures, and areas in the meat department, including the meat cooler, freezer, and refrigerated display cases.

Cutter 3 - HBF
Primary Purpose: Cutter 1, cuts pads and fabric and material handling and bundling operations. Cutter 2 perform Cutter 1 operations and marks fabric and leather and cuts leather.Ability to complete Cutter 1 and Cutter 2 resonsibilities. The Cutter 3 position will also program, set up, operate and maintain automated and hand cutter to cut fabric to product specifications. Meet production, quality and safety requirements. Keep records, and maintain equipment and supplies.
Selects and compiles fabrics per production orders, ensuring correct quantities, colors, and fabric types are selected for the styles of chairs to be produced.
Locate correct pattern and check fabric for defects. Verifies that fabric and pattern correspond to ticket. Check dye lots of fabric.
Roll fabric onto machine and lift into cradle (2 persons function)
Program, set-up and operate automated cutter.
Change cutting blade as necessary. Perform preventative maintenance duties and minor repairs on the cutter as required. Maintain CNC programs, advising programmer of needs and requirements as necessary.
Gather cut parts, sort, and bundle and prepare for sewing department following quality specifications.
Gather scrap and place in scrap tray for recycling.
Unload fabric roll from cradle and return to fabric storage area.
Cuts fabric and leather utilizing manual shears, and patterns as necessary following quality and safety requirements.
Provides support and back up for programmer and digitizing functions as required

Meat Cutter Full Time (Ventura Store #040)
Meat Cutters are responsible for assisting with the managing of department inventory, in-stock levels, pricing integrity, merchandising, and other operational processes to company standards. They must follow the company sales and production planning standards. They will assist in planning, ordering, preparing cutting lists, and processing meat according to the production tools and standards to maximize sales and gross profit. Meat Cutters will assist with the training of new department associates and will ensure correct cutting methods, ordering, receiving, unloading, storage, and rotation of merchandise and displays. Meat Cutters will also ensure a high level of customer engagement and satisfaction at all times by answering customer questions regarding services and products offered.
Assists with managing all functions and activities of the Meat/Seafood Department. Helps to manage labor costs and reduce losses due to shrink, damage and pilferage.
Assists with the training and development of all Meat Cutters and Meat/Seafood Clerks.

Locating Information 3
Reading for Information 4
Ability to travel internationally 90 days for training
Ability to stand for sustained periods of time
Ability to kneeling, crouching, reaching.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (infrequent).
Subject to both indoor and outdoor environmental conditions, proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, and exposure to high heat.
