Inspect various water line facility (e.g. water main, service lateral, fire hydrant, ..) construction in accordance with the requirements of the contract;
Observe compaction testing of backfilled soils conducted by the contractor;
Adhere to procedures in the areas of mandatory safety precautions and proper traffic control;
Document contractors’ activities and progress on daily reports. Record sketches.
Inspect restoration of areas disturbed during construction.
Coordinate construction activities with internal departments, with external contractors, suppliers and consultants, rights-of-way owners, and other utilities within the public rights-of-way.
Coordinate all required permits, licenses, rights-of-way, etc. required for development and construction within area of responsibility.
Supervise the implementation of standards, targets, policies, and plans to ensure the continuing and increasing operational efficiency, effectiveness, and profitability.
Implement effective reporting processes. Provide analysis and support to the Project Manager with information required for various reports.
Implement effective communications at all levels of our operations. Contribute effective communication by listening and providing constructive feedback; supporting the creation of an open and honest work environment; cascading and sharing knowledge and information relevant to other members of the team and colleagues across the business.

Production Quality Inspection Supervisor
Kforce has a client in search of a Production Quality Inspection Supervisor in Tempe, Arizona (AZ).Responsibilities Includes:
Assist the Quality Assurance Manager in operating the Quality Department
Direct Quality Control Inspectors with daily tasks, as well as assist them with the disposition suspect product; Analyze and resolve work problems, or assist workers in solving work problems
Manage, develop, and coach the Quality Controls team with efficient direction and training of quality processes and procedures, while providing goals and monitoring performance metrics to continuously improve standards and foster teamwork
Understand, follow and enforce internal documented procedures and regulatory requirements including AS9100 MIL-PRF-38534/35, and MIL-STD-883 * Manage priorities and work schedules according to companies' needs and demands and ensure completion of all paperwork entries are timely and accurate
Audit hourly employees to verify conformance to Quality systems, monitor schedules, and estimate working hours
Initiate or suggest plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals
Oversee raw materials to ensure vendor compliance with specifications
Specifically review and approve all production records finished product to verify that compliance to regulations on each lot of product has occurred
Associate's or Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience
Minimum 8 years of experience in a quality assurance role; ISO9001/AS9100 experience is a plus
Minimum 3 years of three years related quality assurance experience supervising a team in an electronics manufacturing company
Experience with ERP systems, and advanced knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Must have knowledge of IPC-610 and J-STD-001 * Good reading, writing, and math skills (English language) * Attention to detail and high-quality standards a must
Works well in a team and with other departments
Must be able to pass color and near vision tests with or without corrective devices

Knowledge of Mil-Std 883 MIL-PRF-38534/35 * Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Good team-building and project management skills
