Heavy Equipment Mechanic Qa/Qc Inspector
- Analyze malfunctions and repair, rebuild and maintain power equipment, such as cranes, power shovels, scrapers, paving machines, motor graders, trench-digging machines, conveyors, bulldozers, dredges, pumps, compressors and pneumatic tools.
- Operate and inspect machines or equipment to diagnose defects, dismantles and reassembles equipment, using hoists and hand tools, examines parts for damage or excessive wear, using micrometers and gauges, replaces defective engines and subassemblies, such as transmissions, and test overhauled equipment to insure operating efficiency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform inspection tasks in accordance with Manufacturing Router / Traveler, engineering draw, Bill of Material (BOM), and process specifications.
Perform visual and dimensional inspections on printed wiring / circuit board (PCBA / PWBA) assemblies and magnetic assemblies to ensure workmanship which complies with appropriate requirement from engineering drawings, process specifications and J-STD-001 or other standards specified.
Performs objective visual and functional inspection on all types and configurations of Relay assemblies to assure that mechanical requirements are to specifications.
Inspect fabricated Relay parts and assemblies, check spot welding, staking, brazing, and punch operations to assure that mechanical parameters and workmanship comply with appropriate requirements from engineering drawing and process specifications
Represent the company by presenting hardware to customers and government representatives
May be required to perform source inspection of mechanical parts, assemblies and processes at vendor facilities. Stamp as approved or reject inspected items noting deviations from specifications
Performs inspection on electrical or electronic components by using electrical meters or instruments to determine adherence to electrical specifications
Uses precision measuring instruments to ensure that mechanical parameters are within specifications
Verify completeness of documentation as required per work order traveler and internal procedures.
Determines the method of inspection and type of set-up to check developmental first-run parts or assemblies with minimal supervision.

Inspector B - 2Nd Shift, M-F, 2:30Pm - 11:00Pm
Inspection of all syringes, cartridges, assemblies and components using manual or automated systems/procedures.
Strict adherence to all batch record instructions, SOP's, cGMP's and all applicable Departmental Procedures. Qualify on manual and automated inspection systems.
Visually inspect units for defects. Weight checks basic units for correct fill volume. Maintain proper accountability records (i.e. tally sheets, label preparation, batch record information, etc.) Perform appropriate departmental housekeeping duties to ensure a clean, orderly and safe work environment.
Other duties as assigned. The employee must wear all required safety equipment and perform assigned work in a safe manner. Employee must use proper lifting techniques and be conscious of hazards around them.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma / general education degree (GED) plus 1 year relevant work experience preferred or Veterans / Military experience or associate's degree in a science related discipline preferred.
Pharmaceutical manufacturing experience preferred.
TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

Public Works Inspector
Under general supervision of the Public Works Director/Supervisor: plans, coordinates, and performs inspections pertaining to City water, wastewater, storm drain, road, and bridge construction on capital improvement projects, right of way inspections and projects associated with City development. Reviews construction plans for compliance with City and State requirements; provides technical assistance on inquiries from other departments; assists the department by keeping technical specifications and details current. Works under the strict guidelines of State, City, and local codes and specifications to protect the health, safety and welfare of the general public.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs inspections and testing on public works and utility projects for compliance with project specifications including but not limited to: roads, drainage structures, concrete work, road base, asphalt paving, chip seal, water and sewer facilities, treatment plants, wells, booster stations, main lines, service lines, laterals, and all items related to either road or utility construction.
Plans daily activities to allow time to check/inspect all assigned projects during a given workday. Assists other departments with information concerning updates and acceptance of projects.
Inspects construction sites for contractor/public safety and compliance. Inspects and observes construction materials and methods to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications and construction details at the construction site.
Manages quality control by checking for ADA compliance, performs visual inspection for faulty materials; inspects water mains, services and fire lines and wastewater mains, manholes, mandrels, and reclaimed water mains and services; oversees collection of bacteriological samples for the water line; completes a final walk-through and creates punch list for follow up work.
Coordinates and monitors materials and compliance testing; maintains a file on test and/or laboratory results.
Performs and/or requests as-builts surveys at appropriate phases of various types of projects.
Provides utility connection information to permit applicants.
Interprets specifications, blueprints and construction drawings.
Documents inspection activities by preparing reports and updates, filing submittals, correspondences and estimates, maintaining a daily detailed log, maintaining accurate field notes, preparing final as-builts, tracking contractor's time and measuring & calculating quantities for payment.
Generates documents daily and weekly via online project management module.
Field checks work in the public Right-of-Ways (ROW) for compliance with the ROW permits issued. Reviews traffic control plans associated with the ROW permits and field checks all work zones for proper installation and use of traffic control devices prior to work commencement.
Reviews plans for new construction and tentative improvements for the City's own plan review process.
Aids others in department by providing information, as to survey mapping and computer aided design drafting. Communicates with personnel and others by working with developers, contractors, suppliers and engineering departments, responding to complaints, advising the public of work delays, handling disputes, and communicating with staff.
Interprets, explains and enforces city policies and procedures regarding technical standards, specifications, and ordinances.
May be subject to call-outs during after-hours and/or emergency events as deemed necessary by the supervisor.
Performs all other duties as duly assigned.
o Maintains desired working relationship with Public Works Director, Public Works Personnel & the City Manager.
o Works cooperatively with community groups.
o Provides support to all city department programs and/or activities as needed.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND/OR CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Must possess a valid Texas's Driver's License and be eligible for coverage under the Kyle vehicle insurance provider.
Possession of, or ability to obtain, both a class "C" Water Distribution License and a Wastewater Collections II License within three years of hire.
