Role Summary:

Perform all required inspections, tests, and evaluations in immersion ultrasonics. Ensure all equipment, personnel, and planning is maintained in a condition of proficient operation and quality compliance. Create and maintain techniques, planning, scan plans, programming, equipment, supplies, and software quality assurance as necessary. Provide classroom and on-the-job training of inspectors when designated by Level 3 certifying agent to do so. Acquire and maintain skills as well as certification capability in U.T to accomplish production and quality requirements to support ACSC production needs. Perform related duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Retain the certification or provide documentation of past certification as described in QCWI AC-179 to perform as a certified inspector in the appropriate discipline listed below.
Level 2 in Ultrasonics
Pass the eye test requirements per NAS410.
Experience in using basic hand tools and setting up equipment, fixtures and parts for inspection including sound material and chemical handling practices, performing basic machine preventative maintenance, and performing calibration of equipment to known standards.
Desired Characteristics:
Multiple Certifications held in NDT
Technical or Vocational degree in NDT
Experience in CNC or NC equipment
Proficient in the use of shop math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division and use of fractions and decimals) with the ability to learn and apply trigonometry and geometry.
Possess understanding of repair process and service induced discontinuities related to aviation hardware overhauled or repaired.
Experience in computing skills and performing basic CNC programming of equipment used for inspections

Day-to-Day Role:
Pack items into packaging materials and cartons or load cartons onto skids.
Review production schedules and ensures that resources are correct and staged for use.
Tally materials packaged into packaging or loaded onto skid. Complete necessary paperwork for
tracking finished product.
- Inspect materials, products and containers at each step of packaging process for defects and color.
Package only finished products that meet predetermined standards. Disassemble materials that do
not meet Company specifications to allow for repackaging or grinding.
- Follow packaging procedures as to size, amount, color and type of container. Label cartons or
packaging with appropriate computerized labels.
- Ensure that accessory machines and lines (i.e. dispensers, hoppers) are filled with product to allow

JOB DESCRIPTION
Inspects and test materials received and products manufactured for/by Weatherford Manufacturing (WM) according to drawings and specifications under the guidelines of the WM Quality System and/or customer specifications. Documents and maintains quality records per the WM Quality Procedures and/or customer specifications or other requirements established by WM Management.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs all tasks and skills of Inspector I.
Inspection/acceptance/testing of parts received and/or manufactured under the requirements of the WeatherfordQuality system, special customer requirements, API Q-1, ISO 9001, etc.
Maintain the quality control records.
Insure the instruments and gauges being used are in good condition and calibration.
Maintain professional relations with customers and Weatherford personnel.
Plan inspection procedures for use in inspection routines.
Assist production in the application of recognized industry quality principles.
Perform miscellaneous product test from sales or engineering requirements.
Assist in conducting required non-destructive examinations (Mag Particle, Die Pennetrant etc.) if necessary
Conduct and report findings from product development testing/inspection as needed.

Have robust understanding and application of Mechanical Engineering Processes, Standard Drawing Conventions, Interpreting Drawing Specifications and GD&T.Hands-on experience on utilization of measuring equipment and metrology gauges including but not limited to; micrometer (ID/OD), thread gauges, dial indicators, vernier callipers, height gauges, internal and external thread gauges, bore gauges, optical comparator and etc.Inspection via CMM and/or FaroArm (or similar) is plus.Responsible to review for compliance and disposition Material Test Report / Documentation, First Article / Inspection Data, Traceability and verify count. Process, scan and maintain records and documentation in Weatherford database.
Prepare Forms, generate and maintain reports and spreadsheets related to Non-Conforming Material / Services, Inspections, Scrap log, conduct ERP system and process transactions related to Quality functions and retain a comprehensive track of data and product.
Insure that Instruments, Gauges, Testing Measuring & Monitoring Equipment being used are in good condition and in calibration. Generate and maintain Calibration log.
Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and Objectives and ensure that it is implemented and complied with all requirements of the ISO 9001, applicable Industry Standards, Weatherford Quality System Manual, Weatherford Operating Procedures and Work Instructions.
Understand and comply with all safety requirements, environmental requirements and Weatherford HSE policies and practices.
Communicates effectively amongst a cross-functional team of Supply Chain, Engineering, and Manufacturing. Interface directly with suppliers and customers.
Perform various other duties assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
QUALIFICATIONS
The ability to calculate figures and convert fractions to decimals and vice-versa.
Good math skills.
Ability to read and interpret basic and advanced blueprints and charts.
Ability to use Inspection and measuring equipment micrometers, callipers and dial indicators.
Ability to effectively work with employees, supervisors, vendors and customers.
Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.
Computer skills for Quality documentation and inspection information.
Strong record-keeping, organizational skills and attention to detail a must.
Quality Inspection experience in machine shop environment
The physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations.
