We are looking for four Environmental Science Specialists to conduct research or perform inspections in either our Tank Inspections, Compliance, & Enforcement Unit, Hazardous Waste Unit, or the Solid Waste Unit for the purpose of ensuring compliance with appropriate rules and regulations; will be identifying, abating, or eliminating sources of pollutants or hazards that affect either the environment or the health of the population. Using knowledge of various scientific disciplines, may collect, synthesize, study, report, and recommend actions based on data derived from field observations, inspections of facilities, file reviews, or measurement/observations of air, soil or water and other sources.

Ideal candidate will possess:
Bachelor's degree in law, environmental management/science/studies, sustainability, earth sciences
2 years' experience for level 2, 5 years' experience for level 3 (Master's degree in related field can substitute for 2 years of experience, Doctorate in related field can substitute for 4 years of experience)

Perform Quality Control functions as defined in procedures and work instructions to assure that customers receive good parts. Works with variable supervision to set up and operate any inspection equipment or gauging. Supports production operators by routinely auditing production processes and performing various inspections. Duties and Responsibilities:
Inspect and record all parts at specified frequencies, with specified lot size, in accordance with approved Quality Control procedures with calibrated gages and measuring devises to ascertain Quality.
Inspect and approve first piece production on any new set-ups.
Perform audit of warehouse to ensure product is properly packed, identified and stored as required by procedures and work instructions appropriate for part status.
Perform an audit of product to be shipped to ensure all move sheet steps have been completed and signed off, all contractually required paperwork is with product and product is properly packed.
Make sure all suspect parts have been properly tagged and sent to the designed holding areas.
Maintain files as per prescribed by work instructions on procedures.
Capable of learning computer skills necessary to perform spectrometer analysis and to generate metal department reports.
Prepare alloy samples for analysis.
Calibrate and maintain Spectrometer to operating specifications.
Operate Spectrometer for alloy analysis
Consult with the Quality Supervisor or the Quality Engineer on any matters pertaining to Quality of product or process.
Position can be exposed to a harsh operating environment, which includes: heat up to 100 degrees.
Perform other associated duties as needed to continue the productive operation of the department and division.
High school diploma or GED equivalent and 2 years' experience in quality assurance inspection.
Must understand concepts of geometric dimensioning, tolerancing and part inspection.
Previous experience in operation of CMM or demonstrate ability to be trained in operation of CMM.

KEY TASKS: • Inspects all machinery, structures to ensure compliance standards are met. This includes cleanliness

seals, record and monitor set points and temperatures. Perform verifications, confirming trailer is
from approved supplier list. Performance of core sampling test. • Accurate and timely completion of product adjustment forms, damaged box reports and sparse lean
claim forms, all of which are reported to the appropriate corporate personnel in a timely manner. • Perform regularly scheduled product sampling for various micro and analytical tests. Accurately
record sampling data in a timely manner. The QA Inspector is also responsible for accurate labeling,
packaging and shipping of product samples to specified laboratory. • Will perform various inspections on finished product and place on hold product for additional
inspection and coordinate the stopping of production to arrange for system to be flushed of any
possible contaminants. • Responsible for measurement and recording of quality factors of finished product such as fat and
protein, temperature and color. • Responsible for inspecting and manifesting all finished product. Activities may include visual
inspection of product, inspecting liners, gather product temperatures, taking product samples, etc. • Will provide coverage and assist in areas as needed. Will perform inventory checks for QA supplies

About the Position
C&J Cladding is always looking for exceptional talent to join our team. This class inspects permitted sites in area of specialty to ensure permit, code, and regulatory compliance, provides compliance information to permit holder, and reports any findings with recommendations for permit hold/withdrawal. Work is performed under the general direction of a Chief Construction Supervisor.
A non-certified Construction Inspector's rate of pay is $12.49; must be able to obtain a provisional Building Inspector certification within 90 days of employment and the State certification within one year of employment.
This is a "mandatory-testing" position that requires Drug Testing.
Examples of Duties:
Inspects construction projects and properties to observe compliance with applicable construction plans, specifications, and codes; reads and interprets construction plans and specifications; resolves issues between contractors and owners by providing code explanations related to inspections and/or construction plans or drawings.
Prepares and/or completes variety of forms, lists, stop work notices, and/or other related items; disseminates information to appropriate individuals.
Receives and responds to questions and/or complaints from a variety of individuals and/or businesses regarding codes and regulations, inspection schedules, inspection results, and code compliance requirements.
Prepares and maintains construction and building inspection results by entering data into a permit tracking system, files and logs; prepares related reports.

Loss Control Inspector - New York, NY
The Hartford Steam Boiler Inspection and Insurance Co (HSB) is seeking a Loss Control Inspector to conduct regulatory and risk assessment inspections on insured equipment.
The individual should have experience with boilers, pressure vessels, industrial, mechanical and electrical equipment. Risk survey experience is a plus.
The successful candidate will inspect insured risks for the purpose of jurisdictional requirements and risk assessment activities to determine both insurance exposures as well as regulatory compliance to State pressure vessels laws.
High school diploma and technical working knowledge of commercial equipment.
Significant experience operating, maintaining or inspecting boilers, pressure vessels and machinery. Applicants who do not presently hold a National Board Commission must have enough demonstrated knowledge to qualify for the National Board Exam.
Basic computer knowledge.
Must be an effective communicator in both written and verbal forms.
National Board of Boiler & Pressure Vessel Inspectors Commission.
Technical College Graduate.
Engineering degree (BSME, BSEE or BSChE).
This position requires a person to routinely move about at a site facility. As such, candidates for this position must be able to perform the below physical requirements:
Ability to crawl through 11" X 15" openings into confined spaces. Enter and function in very tight confined spaces.
Ability to climb vertical ladders and several stories of stairs.
Ability to climb and function at heights of at least 30 feet, and up to eight(8) to ten (10) stories.
Ability to perform bending, stretching and twisting motions.
Ability to withstand temperature variations. Temperature variations could be as much as 70 degrees.
Ability to walk 3-5 miles.
Ability to stand for long periods of time and able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
Ability to lift own body weight while hanging or entering a confined space with associated safety equipment
Ability to lift equipment up to 50 lbs.
Visual acuity of 20/20 (natural or corrected) and identify colors.
Ability to hear (corrected) the sounds of equipment operation.
